Terroni - LA
Our menu is filled with regional Italian dishes that have been prepared the same way for generations. So out of respect for Italian gastronomy—and our grandparents—we don’t modify our dishes. Enjoy!

Great food and ambiance, good service. Overall great spot.
Good pasta, the deep fried eggplant was tasty, and the tagliatelle was generous. They have happy hour but was told I'd have to sit at or near the bar. Ok. Overall not bad for dinner. Had 3 bowls of pasta and two highballs for under a $100
Branzino was very good... pasta...??? a little bit too al dente.
Great bar to handout and socialize... nice crowd for a Monday night... we had fun!
Would come back
The fresh house made pappardelle and pizza were the highlight of the meal. Tastes just like Italy!
Rude, dismissive waiter. Pretty good food.
one appetizer was grilled calamari was a little tough. The pasta dish with porcini mushrooms was not as tasty as should be. Could use a better butter and a little salt.
I have never had a bad dish at Terroni! This was the first time at the DTLA spot. Food, just as amazing as Beverly. The service, however, was significantly better! Every interaction with staff members was pleasant and helpful! We like the Beverly location but, should they be booked like they were Friday night, we will happily head back!
Our favorite restaurant！
Great servers, amazing pasta and drinks. Perfect neighborhood spot we love to frequent.
I had been to the Terroni in West Hollywood years ago so I was excited to see that there was a Terroni LA in downtown, especially since I had tickets for a 7pm show at the Theater at Ace Hotel on a Saturday evening. I was able to get a reservation for 6 at 5:15p.
I had the lamb ragu pasta (Capunti al Ragu d'Agnello) as did another member of the party. My husband had 3(!) appetizers: the beef carpaccio, the squash blossoms and the Verde salad. It was all quite good. Not mind-blowing a la "Bestia" or "Rossoblu" but definitely execllent italian food, at a reasonable price.
In fact, since we were in a hurry we didn't get dessert but after the show we came back to Terroni and were able to get a table for 5 and I had the warm chocolate dessert and others had the two scoops of gelato and lemon tart. It was busy but not crowded, so I would definitely eat there again if I had some event or reason to be downtown, like a visiting relative or work conference.
Great food and great service! Beautiful interior.
The food was excellent. We had the seabass and the pork chop for our main courses.
Not up to the 4 1/2 stars on open table!!! A lot of fuss over grandmas recipes... and I guess her cooking wasn’t all that good! One of us had the Sea Bass and it was delicious... but the pasta dishes and starters were a non event!!!
The spaghetti Limone was a little devoid of flavor and the Prosecco flat but all in all a pleasant experience
This restaurant is amazing! It is the freshest best pasta I’ve had since visiting Italy 🇮🇹 itself! So so so good!
Loved the foood!
Had melon and prosciutto ham appetizer
Rice balls stuffed with cheese and meet appetizer
White pizza with 2 cheese, prosciutto , walnuts and honey
Best Italian food I have had in years!!!!!
Great food, excellent server. Noisy but vibrant. This food is the what you would get in Italy. The real deal!!
Arrogant menu. Don't ask for any changes or extras (like sauce for the Calamari, or pepper, or salt)....your taste doesn't matter here only what the chef intended is of any importance.
The food is always excellent, however, it was extremely disappointing that the kitchen was unwilling to accommodate a food allergy. We had a pork allergy at the top and the server told us the kitchen wouldn’t be willing to remove the salami from the pizza our table wanted. I understand wanting to be authentic to the original recipe, however, that is completely ridiculous when there is a food allergy, simply remove the meat and be done with it. Our table was filled with restaurant owners and none of us could understand or justify the response we received. If someone walked into our establishments with an allergy we will accommodate them even though we have allergy friendly items that wouldn’t require adjusting the recipe, if the customer wants a specific item we will do that for them. That portion of the meal was very disappointing and off putting.
food is excellent -- loud venue but fun. great place when seeing a show in DTLA.
This was a horrible experience. The lack of attention towards our table was very frustrating. Simple things like plates, silverware we had to ask for. I mean why are they even in business? No food in the world even if it’s the last meal would ever make me eat at this restaurant again.
Everything we ate was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The building detail inside the restaurant is so beautiful and the evening lighting was perfect.
The service was good, and the restaurant was really pretty. The bathroom upstairs was kind of inconvenient and there was a weird black and white movie playing that was a bit distracting from our group dinner. The pizzas were nice, a little overcooked, but the pasta were just okay. Really loved desserts!
Great service. Great food.
We always enjoy the consistency of food at terroni. Each family member has their favorite. The lemon pasta and the eggplant ivoltini are a few of our favorites
Amazing lunch! Excellent service and great drinks!!!
Get the spaghetti Al lemon the best ever!! The vibe is great and all the employees were very kind to us .
Fantastic experience! Polipo (octopus) special was perfectly prepared. The Capunti al Ragu d'Agnello delicious and highly recommended. Looking forward to returning...
Very good food, pleasant service. I am amused that negative reviews of this place focus on what they tell you up front: no substitutions on dishes and they don't slice their pizzas. I pity the morons who disparage this place after knowing what they were getting into in advance. Yes, I'd go back. I wish the corkage fee was lower (i.e., perhaps $15 instead of $25) but otherwise, no problem.
Italian is never my first choice. but this is a great date spot (I was on a date myself) and the food and service were top-notch.
Terrific restaurant, with wonderful service and fantastic food! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for fairly priced, really good Italian food!
For a last minute idea for me and the wifes anniversary dinner. Terroni sure was a great one. Easy spot to find due to it being on the corner. Valet made it even easier to just go right in. We got to choose a nice booth. Pretty cool decor all around the place. Very spacious place. Drinks were great as expected. Very tastey appetizers. Aswell as the entrees. Even the dessert was amazing. Great service by all! Especially Allen we appreciate the hospitality! We will totally be back for more.
Our server was fantastic. She was super sweet and very attentive. The food was good though I would have liked my pasta to have a touch more seasoning. The beet salad was refreshing and delicious.
The food was very disappointing- beautiful building, mediocre food. Sad.
I was disappointed. Pricey and the food was mediocre at best. The service staff was not attentive and the place lacked quality and service that should have been commensurate with a pricey downtown place. The seating was uncomfortable and dated, tables were wobbly, and not a place I would recommend to friends.
Excellent mushroom appetizer, pizza and pasta.
As regulars at Terroni we are used to the food being great.......as well as the service. This day there were no familiar faces-which did in fact interrupt the experience. Took an LA resident who had never been-and she loved everything! I was disappointed that there was no service after our wine was dropped off...it was over $100 and was never poured. But-Terroni does not disappoint in the food dept!
Terroni was splendid, as it always is. Easily one of our favorite downtown Los Angeles restaurants. On this occasion, we shared a couple of pizzas--both fantastic. The wine was excellent, too, as was the espresso coffee served in delightful cups--one pink, one orange. Service was friendly and efficient. The space is still beautiful.
Beautiful setting (bank building converted to a restaurant). The food is really good and reasonably priced. The service was absolutely perfect.
