Terrace Restaurant at All Saints Estate
In 2013 this dream became reality when the very first Good Food Guide ‘Chef’s Hat' was awarded to Terrace Restaurant at All Saints Estate. Since receiving this great honour Terrace has been awarded a Chef’s Hat each consecutive year since. In addition to these praises, Simon Arkless's visionary cooking style has been commended in the Australian Gourmet Traveller ‘Top 100’ Restaurants in Australia' since 2014. For a small regional restaurant, this result is outstanding.

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch. The whole experience was delightful. The food, service and setting superb.
Many thanks, we will definitely be back in the future.
Shared our lockdown getaway weekend with friends visiting All Saints Winery, sampling the cellar door wine tasting and lunch at The Terrace. The food, service and ambience, complete with a passing afternoon storm blowing in for entertainment was fabulous.
A must do again experience.
The Terrace is really an outside/inside type of place - with the blinds up and fans going it is very pleasant indeed! Great service and food.
Loved the meal, the service, the surroundings. The bar man in the wine testing room was very rude though
The service was fantastic from start to finish.
We had a great table looking out over the grounds and pond.
We decided to have the 3 courses which represented fairly standard value for money as far as winery lunches. The meals were well presented and excellent quality.
If I had to fault anything it would be that the wine by the glass was fairly limited for a winery. Having said that, I enjoyed the wines i chose.
Excellent choice our table tried one of each almost and all was great.
A beautiful meal in a gorgeous setting to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We will definitely return with friends for another meal in the restaurant or a platter in the gardens.
Beautiful food in a beautiful setting! Would definitely come again!
Great food and wine, what a beautiful venue. Highly recommended for any occasion, stuff very helpful and prompt with there service.
Superb, amazing food and service amongst beautiful surroundings. This restaurant has been our favourite for 10 years or more. It is always brilliant.
Outstanding food. Beautiful location. Great service. Great wine.
Wonderful lunch, fantastic setting and incredible food. Would highly recommed.
Beautiful food and great people, we will recommend it 👍🏻
A perfect way to finish off our time in this wine area! Outstanding service and amazing ambience!
Food is beyond delicious and wine stunning!
Wished we lived closer to enjoy more often!
It was a pleasure to be back at Terrace Restaurant. This is a particularly great place for a long lunch as the outlook is excellent. The food is always delicious and interesting. I was particularly impressed the the Terrine of ham hock and foie gras.
The service as usual was excellent, great knowledge of the food and wine, attentive without being over bearing.
All in all a great experience.
I do not understand the hype about this place. Sure the setting and grounds are gorgeous but the restaurant itself is lack lustre and the food is certainly not deserving of its 1 chef hat rating. My first course of asparagus with pancetta, morels and hollandaise was tasty enough, although heavily salted, but reminded me of a common brunch dish. Whereas my partners crudo needed a bit of zip (not to mention that crudo means raw and the fish was clearly cured). The mains were truly disappointing though. A tiny over cooked lamb dish and half an anaemic spatchcock with flavourless, watery rainbow chard and floury, gluey white polenta served with an 80’s style disk of what claimed to be rosemary and anchovy butter (I could not taste anchovy). Service was ok but not particularly attentive, certainly nothing to rave about. All in all, an expensive but underwhelming experience.
Our dining experience was exceptional. The young staff member who greeted us followed all relevant protocols in a very professional manner. Both the waiters were polite and patient with all our questions regarding menu and drink selections. The serving of our courses was exceptional and we at no time felt rushed by the staff. The chef and his staff are to be commended on the fantastic menu and their detail to plating up each course. I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at the Terrace Restaurant.
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The food was delicious and the surroundings lovely.
Menu selection was great with good appeal and hard decisions. Timely delivery to the table, enabling comfortable wine consumption, rather than a long wait.
2 course selection was great and satisfied, easily have chosen a desert but erred not to over indulge.
Great value all round , 2 or 3 courses .
Wonderful luncheon experience and dining experience, congratulations to all in the kitchen through to front desk.
Wonderful setting, beautiful wines and delicious food. What more could one ask for!
I took my daughter and partner here today for lunch! Every meal was divine! Great value and the wine was priced well. Congratulations on providing a beautiful experience right here in our area! Service was amazing and we will be back!
I know why you have a Chef's hat, the food was absolutely delicious.
We were greeted at the door, guided through booking and introduced to out waiter.
Our waiter was fabulous, gave us direction around the food and wine but discreetly left us alone.
I can't describe the food highly enough. Each course was fabulous but the outstanding aspects were a cigar shaped pastry filled with lamb and the chocolate delice.... oh my. I just wished we lived closer.
I highly recommend this experience ❤
A great lunch and fast Tesla charging. Couldn’t ask for more
High end Melbourne restaurant quality food.
Wines are all from the winery.
We both ordered the beef and were really disappointed at how much everything on the plate just tasted fatty. The meal needed something to cut through the fat as it was unappetizing and neither of us finished our meals.
Service was good and we did pass our feedback on at the time.
Certainly met our expectations as per our previous visits. Delightful food, beautifully presented and the jus for the roast beef was outstanding! Wish it was on sale - a real winner!
Exquisite food and exemplary service. Just had to have all 3 courses. Mid COVID so limited numbers, but unlike a lot of venues with 5 tables in an big empty space, the restaurant had all the tables beautifully laid including napkins and glasses. About time us country folk are allowed to feel a bit special!
Always a pleasure to arrive at this wonderful Castle in North East Victoria. Friendly staff greet you and you are made to feel very welcome on arrival. The Terrace Restaurant atmosphere is relaxing but buzzing with the waitstaff making sure we all had menus and of course a glass or bottle of the stunning All Saints wine. The food was so delicious and I certainly didn't want my entree of Asparagus,Stracciatella, fennel, blood orange and olive to ever end. Thankfully, my main and dessert were also amazing. Love this place and highly recommend it for either wine tasting or lunch/dinner.
Second visit and still keeping up good quality of food and service. Thank you
Amazing food, sadly current menu does not come matched with a wine but beautiful food
Beautiful food and surroundings 😀. Looking forward to coming back
My partner and I had a lovely lunch, the meals were incredible and we were so pleased to have been looked after with our dietary needs. It was wonderful that the chef was able to put together a vegan option for us and we loved the service. Will definitely be back. Our waitresses was absolutely lovely too and should be commended for her professionalism.
Unfortunately the service was a little slow in particular re getting drinks to start , table was not maintained regularly in that we had to pour our own wine and request additional water.
Entrees were fair , main was beautiful (flounder) and desserts were really good although only 3 people had desserts see response below,.
I could not believe having now reviewed our bill that we were actually charged $45 for an entree of cuttle fish !! this After noting that the four of us did not have the 3 courses yet we were charged for this ! this on top of the wine and food we consumed spent $475, this was extremely disappointing.
staff were extremely nice and pleasant to us.
We had a wonderful time at The Terrace at All Saints, the food was delicious and the wine and staff were wonderful.
always consistently tasty and beautifully prepared and presented food done with imagination and flair. never been disappointed yet. good service and lovely location.
As a regular at the restaurant I was a little disappointed the usual menu deal with wine match wasn't available and felt this should be on the website as an up front notice to patrons of the restaurant. The menu was limited with no choice for vegetarians for a main meal or for sides although I'm sure if asked something would have been provided, however I do eat fish so I was well catered for.
The food itself was of the usual excellent quality and presentation and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I did feel $14 for each glass of wine was a little pricey considering we are eating at the winery.
Excellent food but not overall the best experience we've had here.
What a meal! We had a fabulous dining experience on the weekend at All Saints. Our three course meals were all excellent and the wine was lovely. The team were attentative but not intrusive. In a time of uncertainty, it was a great way brighten up our otherwise bleak week. Thank you to the team at All Saints.
Nice quiet afternoon lunch. Fantastic main featuring land and pumpkin.Would go back any day just for the main.
Meal, wine and service was great but the venue was cold.
It was so fantastic that you could be open during these challenging times.
This was a very memorable experience.
All was fantastic including the music you played while dining at your beautiful restaurant
