Established in 2017, Téatro Bar & Restaurant is the sister business to the nationally recognised Barn Theatre, located nextdoor to Ingleside Hotel in Cirencester

We pride ourselves on offering a unique dining experience; offering quality, sourced produce formed into exquisite menus, alongside carefully crafted drinks, all served by our wonderful front of house staff.

Our stylishly designed restaurant and famous outdoor area, The Firepit, sit either side of our relaxing bar where live piano fills the air. Teatro is the ideal venue for any occasion; a birthday, pre theatre dinner, or a drink with friends.

Very heavy food across multiple menu options and overpowering garlic! Slow service meaning that we didn’t have time to have a starter and finish our mains in an hour and half.

Very friendly staff and tasty food. excellent cocktails, great as I am drinking modestly at present. The only issue was the "background" music, which had a rather heavy beat and was a bit too loud.

It was quieter than expected for a Sat early evening (pre-theatre). The food and service was very pleasant without being exceptional. The duck ragout was like warm rather than hot and the prawn linguine was lacking a little flavour. We could have addressed these issues with the staff on the night but chose not to as we were entertaining guests from overseas and were in a bit of a hurry ahead of the start of the theatre performance.

Empty venue and very poor quality food with an inedible pudding . Pasta dishes were bland and far too much pasta .

This was the first time we had a pre-theatre meal here, but it won't be the last! Very welcoming, good service. The food was top quality and beautifully presented. A lovely experience.

An amazing evening, we were greeted warmly and asked if this was a special occasion and we had mentioned it was our 5th anniversary. Very kindly our waitress gave us some complimentary Prosecco which was lovely! Our meal with starters, mains and wine was absolutely delicious. Starters were lovely balance of flavours and textures. The steak was cooked perfectly and our deserts were a great finish. Everything was made perfectly balanced and paired seamlessly. We would definitely come back again! 10 out of 10

Ambience and service was great. Food was not. The menu looked fantastic, the starters came out and looked good but completely lacked any seasoning or flavour. Three of us had the rib eye steak for main and it was smothered in a sauce. The sauce had been over-reduced and ended up as this gelatinous over salty mass that hid a very sinewy steak. Very disappointed in the quality of the food.
