We had a birthday lunch at the Boatshed in Jan 2020. It is an excellent venue right on the water at Tea Gardens. The staff are great, attentive and pleasant. The food is also very good. The menu is wide ranging and comprehensive. We enjoyed the seafood platter which is easily a meal for three hungry people. The wine list is also comprehensive with plenty of local and international choice. We had a great time in a marvellous atmosphere with delightful ambience. Highly recommended!

Our family stopped at Tea Gardens Boatshed on our way back from holiday. The best decision ever! The setting is stunning - with beautiful views of the water and boats.
We managed to get a last minute booking despite it being Saturday lunchtime. The place was packed with families and couples but it had a really lovely vibe, not too noisy. The waitress was really attentive and personable.
We had the seafood platter and it was amazing, very fresh. Just one disappointment was the amount of food per person (e.g. 2 oysters for 2 people, 3 prawns).
When you’re there so try the home made scones!

as usual this pace is a gem and I can see that over the years they have invested in renovating it to suit. We had a lightening fast lunch with ( too) many children. Feedback.. the waiting and drinks staff need to be a bit more attentive. Children's meals where ALL delicious, however a little small in portion size for bigger eating kids, so the offer of ordering a large children's might be a a welcome option. Over all it was a fabulous experience, food was excellent I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Service was okay, atmosphere was good, food - one meal served with foreign object (piece of wood) in food.
Not overly great experience.

Have been there quite a few times as we love the setting and rustic décor. The staff are always very pleasant and very accommodating. Yesterday was an extremely busy day so we had to wait a little for drinks but admit apologies were in order for the wait. Will definitely dine there again and booking on line was a great way to ensure a nice table over the water.

A little disappointed there was no dinner menu but rather they were just running lunch. No table clothes, very basic compared to what we have had before and expected of the Boatshed. The food was good, with the exception of the salmon which was dry and tasteless. I would suggest the bring back a quality dinner menu they have had in the past. Until then, we wont be going back for dinner.

So disappointed this time, been here many times & always bring friends from out of town, this time it let me down big time, I was embarrassed as I had talked it up to my friends, and felt the need to apologise profusely to them, Entree of Garlic Prawns, last few times I’ve ordered this it tasted great, this time it was extremely bland, the 5 small prawns were tasteless I think Garlic & Chilli we’re forgotten & usually comes with 4 pieces of sour dough, this time it was one, but still the same price, a friend had soft shell crab burger, she said it was tasteless, another friend ordered one of the lunch specials of the day, at 12:30 they had run out but it was still on the specials board !! However I did note they took it off the board soon after, service was also extremely slow compared to many other times I’ve been there, We did mention our disappointment the response was sorry with a non committal shrug.
