Award winning best fusion by AFGF, Tayta is serving the Nikkei cuisine which is a fusion of Japanese techniques using Peruvian flavors. We use the freshest of produce and highest grade of Fresh Fish so we can offer our guests the best version of the Nikkei cuisine. Tayta is known for it's ambience of lively music and beautiful art and offers a memorable dining experience that gives a feeling of being somewhere other than the Gold Coast. We have a full serviced Bar, with a creative range of Pisco Sours and other deliciously crafted cocktails as well as beer, wine and sake. Don't forget to try our signature dish, the Kingfish Tiradito (Sashimi) alongside our Hibiscus Pisco Sour.

    Food was phenomenal, had a slightly small glass of wine poured for us at first, but when asking to have a bit more, waiter kindly poured some more. Great experience, service was good and food was fantastic.

    Amazing experience tonight at Tayta Nikkei once again. This place never disappoints. Food is very unique and makes it hard to eat out elsewhere as the flavours are like an explosion of goodness. Top notch service and Pisco Sours made properly, just like in Peru. Highly recommend.

    Overpriced ordinary and very salty food Staff and service was okay and the cocktails were okay For such a unique food style experience the food did not live up to the prices charged Overall not a restaurant I could recommend

    Hi Mark, We are very disappointed to hear the food wasn't up to standard for you as usually guests love it. I'm going to write to you privately to address the issues mentioned regarding dishes being too salty as would really like some further information on this as we use minimal salt on site due to products like soy, ponzu etc having sufficient amounts.
