The name Tartine Bianco stems from the collaboration between Chad Robertson, Liz Prueitt of Tartine, and Chris Bianco of Pizzeria Bianco. This relationship and the ideals it carries are vital in the philosophy behind the menu. The menu takes into consideration the many cultures that represent Los Angeles. With a large emphasis on locality and seasonality, Tartine Bianco will provide its guests the highest quality ingredients, prepared with the best intentions and respect for those ingredients. They’ve carefully cultivated relationships with purveyors and farmers like Cairnspring Mills, which sources from local grain farmers, Cream Co. Meats which provides meat grown sustainably and with superior flavor in mind, and Bianco DiNapoli’s California vine ripened and organically grown, canned tomatoes. The menu is designed to be shared and should begin with what Tartine is best known for… bread. The wine list will change regularly and, like the food, will reflect the mood of the season.

The food is delicious; bread light and tasty, spreads unique and tasty, flatbreads to die for, and the entrees were equally delicious. This place is a gem and a must visit in LA.

Tartine Bianco is a MAJOR addition to the LA food scene - a must-visit venue for serious foodies. The fresh baked bread service is killer - the best bread in LA - along with the warm ricotta, which is heavenly. The chicken liver pate terrine on brioche (huge portion) is spectacular. The rotisserie chicken was amazing - they brine it in herbs for 12 hours the cook it to near-perfection - crispy on the outside, absolutely delicious. The accompaniment (summer squash, cherry tomatoes, cilantro in buttermilk sauce) was not a winner for me - it made sense conceptually, but ultimately didn't work in terms of flavor profile. Finished off with the chocolate malt ice cream w/caramel, caramelized bananas - oh my god, this was beyond amazing - best ice cream I've tasted in ages. The service was terrific - my server Laura was wonderful, charming, attentive - she even brought me a surprise treat at the end which capped off the evening perfectly. This restaurant deserves a VERY long run - hope it stays around forever!

I think this is a solid place for lunch if you happen to be strolling around the ROW area on a Saturday afternoon. We sat outside, so the noise level was on the quiet side. The menu was interesting - the two of us shared a really good Little Gem salad. Lovely dressing.
We split a Grilled Cheese sandwich, which was not exactly my fav - but I knew that it was not meant to be a normal Grilled Cheese - as it had squash in it. And too much butter on the bread for my taste. (can't believe I'm saying that).
And we tried the Avocado Smorrebord - It's like a small piece of fabulous bread, thinly sliced, & toasted The avocado on top was creamy, with a bit of heat, and pumpkin seeds. Enuf for a couple of bites each. Good stuff.

Great atmosphere and amazing staff. We ordered a bit of everything and shared. It was all amazing. Cocktails are so yummy and refreshing.

My husband and I went on a date for dineLA. As soon as we sat down we decided we were going to not do the prefix menu. Ben was an amazing server. He was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also helped us narrow down dishes we would enjoy without over doing it. The food was beyond tasty. I’m so in love with this restaurant.

We enjoyed the DineLA lunch menu! Nicole was an awesome server. I especially appreciated that someone took notice of our empty water bottle and replaced in time for us to refill our glasses!

There is a small indoor bar area, but the dining is outside on a cozy patio. The food was tasty and nicely presented. We all had something different, 3 main salads, fish and chips and hamburger. Everyone was pleased with their selection. The patio is also dog friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We were there for dinner. Highly recommend the spring onion flatbread which had a nice hit of spice to it and the heirloom tomato ricotta tartine. The wines by the glass were good and love that you can get half pours so I could try a couple without getting toasted before the theater performance. My husband liked the craft beer available.

If nothing on the dessert menu grabs you, you can order from the pastry shop. We had the coconut cream pie. It was good and ample to share. Banana cream pie next time!

We also liked the prawns and something else but can’t remember what anymore. We didn’t love the eggplant dip with the bread. The breads were delicious of course but also different (you get 3 types). Will definitely be coming back!

The food was very good, especially the country bread and kefir butter. I recommend the fried chicken sandwich- it’s lighter than you would think and the elements combined well. The service is slow and not attentive but we were not in a hurry so I didn’t really care. Try the morning bun from the bakery it’s very good.

A beautiful space, excellent wine and food. The service was sloppy with our busgirl throwing water on my plate, utensils, and even on the food which had to be sent back and remade. Even after we can commented on this to our waitress this person kept splashing water all over the place. Cannot understand how someone so incompetent can be tolerated. Really detracted from the overall experience.

The restaurant was beautiful and the service was very good. We sat on the patio which was great for people watching and was quiet.
I had the salmon tartine which was simple and delicious.
But the French toast was unacceptable. It came out burnt but mushy and tasteless.
After one bite, I returned it and the waiter took it off the bill. Which was the appropriate thing to do.
I’m a big fan of the San Francisco locations so I will give the L.A. location another chance

Great service. Outstanding food. Lovely ambiance. We ate early, which I recommend - much less noisy. Unfortunately we were too late to get something at the bakery afterward (closed at 7 pm). Be sure to get your goodies before sitting down to eat!

Delicious brunch items but tiny portions and very high prices. Most of my friends can’t afford $50/person brunch w 1 mimosa. And to be careful, once you go over the two hour validated parking limit, it’s $10/hour.

We arrived at 10am, we were 1 of the 4 tables seated inside, so there were several empty tables. Our waiter was not attentive at all, I had to hunt him down for a refill on coffee. From the beginning, he forgot to bring out our orange juice, then he brought us a chocolate croissant instead of butter, he then didn’t explain that the restaurant doesn’t make decaf drip coffee and assumed we wanted an Americano, which is fine but servers need to explain and talk to their guests. The lady serving us water was extremely attentive, that’s why my review was not as low.

Beautiful restaurant with a great menu. We enjoyed the bread (extraordinary!!!) and butter bean hummus (delicious), the corn special (okay, not exceptional), rotisserie chicken (juicy and flavorful with wonderful smoky flavors), and gem salad (fresh ingredients and fantastic dressing). Service was friendly and warm, if a tad uninformed at times. We went on a slow weekday and the pace of the courses was off. We had a long wait for the chicken - but it was worth it in the end. We shared the brownie sundae -sinful treat. The ice cream was amazing. I like this place and will definitely go back.

What we got of our order was quite tasty. Our waitress didn't put our order in for 1 hour after we ordered!! We had told her that we had a 6:30 curtain time near by when we ordered @ 5 we started asking about our order @ 5:45 & salad & bread showed up 10min later BUT @ 6:10 still no food. We asked for the check & the server said the food "was being plated". They gave us the bill 5min later (no consideration for our inconvenience-in fact the wine charge was $5 more than the menu price-go know) & we left! (Curtain time was delayed 10min fortunately)

Went for brunch, we were a party of 5, sat on the patio and had a wonderful meal!! We ordered the hummus, which was delish. The bread was extra, $6 for 3 slices, it was expensive, but worth it! I had the little gem salad, which was excellent. Other dishes ordered were the breakfast sandwich, salmon Tartine and fried chicken sandwich. Everyone was very happy with their meal. Our dishes came out at different times and mine was the last to come out, the waiter gave us a coddled egg and also a chocolate croissant for the delay.

Our reservation was at 9:30a yesterday, 6/23. the weather was a bit chili, there were 7 of us. We were seated directly across from the front door which was kept wide open. We had 3 kids (they are 3½, 6 & 7 years + my mother, 95 year old). I asked if they can close the door because we were cold, but the gentleman said "NO". It did not go well with us with his attitude.
