TarraWarra Estate Restaurant
Loved the venue. Great food, lovely ambience all round. Service was great, staff very friendly and informative. Cannot wait to go back.
A beautifully sited restaurant in the Yarra valley. The food was interesting using fresh ingredients, although some of the vegetables were past their best ie complementary hummus veg and potato. Bread delicious.
One of my favorite places in Yarra Valley, gorgeous venue with absolutely great wine and views. Food is excellent, desserts could be better though. I'll always return back for more
Great service and food
Interesting ingredients enjoyed.
We got married here 3 years ago and go back for our wedding anniversary each year. The staff always greet us by name and welcome us back with open arms. The food and service are sensatial and I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful place.
This has been on both occasions we have dined a wonderful experience. The food is really beautifully presented and delicious. The waitstaff are expert at describing the complexities of the dishes and a really great source of information regarding choice.
Highly recommended on all levels
Overall it is a very good and enjoyable experience ,the food is always delicious and innovative. My only real misgiving is that the wines are very expensive for what they are.
From the moment you turn into the drive you feel special.
Each corner offers a vista to savour.
The restaurant was near capacity but the atmosphere beckoned you to sit back and enjoy yourself.
We were welcomed warmly and led thru the menu for the day.
Very interesting and tasty food, with estate wines to match...
We will be back, if only to enjoy a glass and platter under the peppercorns... worth a trip in themselves
We had a lovely lunch here, couldn’t fault the service. The food was delicious and innovative. Definitely will be coming again.
Innovative menu in a small and sophisticated restaurant in beautiful surroundings.
Food was lovely the ambiance was perfect.
Our waitress Ash was on point friendly but not too friendly, her manner and her service was an experience and truly a professional an experience I had not enjoyed in sometime.
Tantalising innovative cuisine, wonderful wine and beautiful vistas. I have been there on numerous occasions and the menu on offer never disappoints, but keeps getting better. Superb vegan desserts.
I was at TarraWarra Estate for a lunch with colleagues. The decor, food and staff were excellent. I would definitely come back again!
Mains took way too long to come out- 2 hours we were there
This restaurant represents quality on every level.
This was our first time, celebrating my husbands birthday last Thursday for lunch. The wait staff were professional whilst maintaining a friendly disposition and had a real understanding of all food on the menu.
Every morsel was amazingly delicious and incredibly creative.
It was really some of the best food we have had.
We had the pleasure in meeting the chef and were given the opportunity to express our gratitude.
We plan in celebrating my birthday in February, the only problem is limiting my guests to 8!
Thank you for a wonderful food experience!
Fabulous estate, amazing food, lovely staff and very well priced!
Fantastic experience with exceptional food and delicious wines. I made a wrong choice with my main course and the staff realising - without comment from me, were insistent on replacing it with something else of my choice. Exceptional service. Thank you Tarrawarra
From the time we arrived we were looked after by beautiful staff, the food was exemplary ( we are both vegan) and I think it was the best meal we have had.
Loved every minute of our lunch.
Portions were perfect, service A1, environment so lovely
This is our favorite restaurant. Our first lunch for 2020, but we like to come here every three or four months - even though it is a 90 minute drive from home. The food is so original and fresh. So obviously healthy but just so delicious. And, when you combine this great food with a visit to the gallery life is bliss
Lovely setting served by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, we enjoyed the sense of difference of this restaurant.
Creative and tasty courses, different to mainstream restaurants, but delightfully different.
Sam was a superstar waitress! Absolutely loved our lunch at Tarrawarra. The only downfall is after spending a lot of money in the restaurant you still have to pay in full for tickets to the gallery.
i have eaten at tw b4 and enjoyed ambience wine and food. current menu tho is outstanding. best of all previous times. the shaved frozen grapefruit was particularly inspired, but the kangaroo was also great as was the rich venison entree
We loved TarraWarra estate for years and took our friends here for new year plus birthday celebration. I think because it is public holiday was really over booked which made seats really crowded and felt uneasy to move around. Also the food took way too long to be served, in total took us 3.5 hours to eat a 3 course meal and would have been nice if the waitering staff could have explained to us instead leaving everyone waiting and don’t know what is going on. The entree and dessert was beautiful but the main lamb belly was really fatty and lack of contrast in flavour wouldn’t recommend it to anyone especially now summer we all like something fresh.
We had the trout which was very pleasant. The entree of broccoli was nothing special.. Dessert of raspberries was reasonable, but nothing to make the taste buds tingle.
We were wondering why we were being constantly toppped up with sparkling mineral water, but on receiving the bill, all became too obvious....$18 for unlimited mineral water for 4 people. For this reason alone, as well as some rather pretentious dishes we're not inclined to return...a pity as this was our third visit in a few years. Novelty for the sake of novelty seems to be the driver of some dishes. A read of Scott Pickett's "Marriage of Flavours shows just how well flavours can be married up. He is the owner of Estelle Restaurant ( dined there) Saint Crispin and Matilda . While not saying the food was poor, we were expecting the same standard as we've enjoyed in the past. Last of all we don't really want to become water-logged (min. water) when we dine out.
Incredible dining experience. Jade our waitress was so knowledgeable and polite. Fantastic day trip
TarraWarra Estate is beautiful.
Restaurant & other buildings contemporary and really interesting.
Food was not what we expected but delicious and beautifully presented. free extras were very generous & welcome.
Great food, exceptional service and a well priced drinks list.
Fabulous food, wonderful service. Staff always go the extra mile. Thanks again.
We loved our dining experience at TarraWarra Estate Restaurant. We were celebrating a 50th birthday it was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious! Ash our waitress was very informative and helpful in telling us about the menu options & assisting us in making our dining selections. We would highly recommend this restaurant to others.
Great estate and restaurant. Food was excellent, and service personable.
Only downside would be that the cellar door tastings are in a separate building.
Food too rich . Both of us felt bloated and had a heavy feeling in our stomachs
Beautiful food and attentive and friendly service. Loved my birthday lunch so much.
Thanks giving us a special day and making us feel well looked after. Beautiful surroundings and food ...
We enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch at Tarrawarra recently. The food, service and ambiance was impeccable. I highly recommend it.
Best meal I’ve ever had loved it highly recommend to anyone looking for a special day
Excellent value - great presentation of food - well done
The food and service was absolutely wonderful! The scenery is breathtaking, and I'll definitely be back!
Absolutely delightful on every level!
Ambience is fabulous, staff are attentive and welcoming, food is delicious and the Tarrawarra Art Museum is sublime!
As always, absolute perfection. We love dining at TarraWarra, usually before we attend an exhibition in a perfect setting looking out across the countryside.
