Kung Pao Chicken
Pad Thai, Chicken or Shrimp
Anniversary date with my boyfriend
The staff were amazing! The food was just spectacular and it was so nice to be out to eat and feel normal again!
Love the food at TAO! Consistently good, the best Pad Thai in the city.
It really wasn’t Tao’s fault. Thanks to the mayor we are still stuck outside.
My salmon was extremely overcooked to the point where I could barely eat it
This was my first time dining at Tao. I arrived about 7 mins late for my reservation but was still seated immediately. The waiter was very friendly and checked in on us enough, but was not overbearing. I enjoyed the music selection was very happy with the wait time for our food and the food was delicious! I had a great experience!
Amazing food and great service. A bit bummed that we couldn’t dine inside because the place is so beautiful but not in our control. Would highly recommend.
Food and service were fantastic
Food has taken a big downturn compared to when I was last there five years ago. Both savory dishes had far too much sugar
It was a very good experience, staff was very professional food was delicious.
First time eating out since March and Tao took all safety and sanity precautions to make dining a safe and enjoyable experience. Staff was exceptional!
One of our faves! Best cocktails in town!
Service was good, food was good, ambiance was fair, too noisy street
Outstanding food, atmosphere, and staff already looking forward to the next time.
I’ve dined at Tao many times & thoroughly enjoyed it however, it is not the same when sitting outside, on the side walk. At no fault of their own it’s understandable but, I will not be returning as it’s not worth it. The food was mediocre, service was alright and drinks are wayyyyyy too expensive.
The outside seating removes any incentive to eat here - the whole point is to be wowed by the ambience that is the signature of the Tao group. Can’t be helped with the pandemic still raging. - that part can be forgiven. The real downer is asian-fusion cuisine - it is more akin to American inspired bland soulless Thai/Chinese food, better versions of which can be found at your local take out joint. At $50 a pop (without alcohol), there are much better places to eat in the city.
My waiter was amazing and friendly can’t wait to visit again!!
The best lychee martini ever!
TAO outside is absolutely not as TAO inside. Service was good and food was good as usual, but there is no side walk and all pedestrians were passing through diners and it was disturbing. Wouldn't go until it will be settled inside again.
Food and service were outstanding
Overall everything Great
Ashley is a fantastic waitress
Sitting outside definitely took away from the dinning experience especially when we asked to sit at another available table that was closer inward. Our table was at the very end of the sidewalk which made us feel like we weren’t evening dining at TAO at all. Another two person party was about to be seated right next to us but we’re moved at their request to the same table that I requested, but was denied.
The jumbo shrimp tempura was delicious. However, the crispy orange chicken was actually not crispy at all and wasn’t worth the money. Next time I will try the Chilean Sea Bass which looked a lot more appetizing. The drinks in my opinion were over priced. They were good but definitely not worth $19 and for $3.50 for a 8oz class of coke, you would think that they would at least be refillable.
Our server was great. She was very friendly and gave us some good recommendations. She also checked by frequently. Overall, it wasn’t bad but I just expected a little more for the money that was spent.
It’s always fun going to tao.
Outdoor dining tables were properly separated for social distancing. The energy level outside was great! My first time ever eating there and all of the dishes we had were excellent! We very much enjoyed the experience!
The food was pretty average and over priced. Door staff were not the friendliest.
The place is very beautiful! The food is normal.
Fantastic place to eat, food and service was good but not exceptional.
My group of 9 had a great experience. The staff was super friendly and attentive to our needs. Huge shout out to the manager, Chris, who has exceptional customer service. He made our group feel welcomed.
Food was very good, waiter was not attentive as I had expected. We had to waive multiple times to get his attention for water or to order something and the restaurant was not very busy.
food was amazing, bartenders attended to us quickly will def come back
Great food, service and ambiance.
Very long waiting time for a table booked in advance.
Love the place and environment!!!
Tao is always a delight. Consistently great food, always amazing staff, and never ever an issue.
Was my birthday and I couldn’t have had a better time. The service was the best and we enjoyed the entire night !!!!
Bad service, ok food, not worth the hype... cool atmosphere but other than that I would never go back
I loved it!
Kids birthday 13. I like TAO because it’s themed. Amazing that a place I drank in during my 20s is still a go-to for occasions. It’s perfect for family birthday dinners. A little pricey for Thai, but it makes up for it in ambiance and definitely a place for a teen palate- plenty of fried rice and noodles as well as instagram worthy desserts and giant Buddha.
