Tandoor Chop House is the meeting of a North Indian communal eatery and a classic British chop house. It brings together the characteristics of these two traditional restaurants: The tandoor ovens, Indian spices and marinades, select prime cuts of meat, and buzzing atmosphere. The result is a place diners can come to socialise over drinks and share plates of hearty, comforting food.

*Please note that only our chicken is halal

**Our Sunday Mighty Thali menu is only available on Sunday's from 12-4pm (last orders are taken at 3.45 pm)

Amazing food. Best lamb chops ever! Not cheap but definitely felt we got our money's worth with the Mighty Thali. Service prompt and unobtrusive. Only negative was automatically adding a service charge for a party of 2 when we'd have left a tip anyway.

Was delicious food and lovely service. Have been before and it never disappoints. They have good social distancing in place and air con for these hot summer days!

My partner and I had the thali and it didn’t disappoint; a great shout if you’re sharing and want a bit of everything. We will definitely return

I ordered a drink I didn't like. I asked the attendant to get me a different one. They swapped it over and did not charge me for it at the bill. Very nice of them to allow me to swap the drink.

Portions were not as large as I thought. The mighty Thali could stretch for 3 ppl but extra chops and nann would need to be ordered if you're hungry.

Amazing!
They were so sweet and brought us desert and cava as it was our 2 year anniversary.

Love this restaurant. First one we’ve been to since the lockdown. So glad we chose to come here.

Amazing restaurant! We arrived 30 mins early for our booking and it was no trouble. Service was impeccable and the food was incredible. Amazing flavours! The manger was great too! Very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend.

When I got to the door I wanted to turn around and walk away...my fault as I didn't do enough research. We went for my daughters birthday. It reminded me of a school canteen and food was basically Nandos with a huge price tag. I wouldn't recommend or re-visit.

Went for the Sunday thaali.

Food was great as always - the lamb chops were awesome, service is always good.

The only thing that disappointed me was the thaali itself. The price has gone up, which I accepted was probably due to covid etc. But the thaali itself was very disappointing - no bread selection, no aubergine, no paneer, 4 condiments instead of 8, no chicken stuff naan, no salad, no sweet dishes.

Was very excited to take my sister for her first thaali, however very disappointed with the reductions made. There was more thaali visible than actual food.

We shared ‘The Mighty Thali’ food platter which I couldn’t recommend highly enough. Cosy atmosphere, nice cocktails.

Had much better food in February 2020 had ordered only Al Carte .and it was fab !
This time we ordered the thali and it was total disappointment . It was cold except the daal !
Pepper chicken was hardly peppery and even after re order to add more pepper it turned out more salty
The 2 chefs were busy but this place seems to lost of on my vote .
It’s going similar direction as Dishoom rushed and flavourless which is a shame
Our white Spanish wine was 4 times the retail value and felt ripped off .
Staff was friendly . In short will not return

Absolutely love this place! I'm Indian so we cook this kind of food all the time at home, so am not easily impressed but the quality of the meat and the flavours are great. Definitely a regular for when we can't be bothered to cook and want a treat meal.

Perfect and quiet meal after Lockdown. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. When they brought out a different dish by mistake they apologised and let us keep the dish. They also brought us the originally asked for dish very quick!

Couldn't fault the food, as it was all amazing. The service on the other hand was very very rushed indeed and we were offered the menu and asked about intolerances before we had even sat down. We were then brought the full thali without even being asked about drinks or even ordering the drinks. Not once did anyone come to check on the table throughout our meal.

Nice looking place - Basically it's Dishoom.
Lamp Chops were good as expected - Everything else a bit disappointing, but not dreadful.
Staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful - Borderline rude. Perhaps they are over-worked!

Great food and restaurant full on a Sunday evening which tells you how good the Tandoor Chophouse is. Only downside is the noise levels of everyone talking. Having said this, everything else is excellent.

I thought the food was very average, great for Instagram but the taste of the food wasn't great and it was cold. Also, we had the waiter approach is 3 times to clean out table when we were still eating, I felt as if we were getting kicked out only after an hour of our booking!

It was an absolute delight, sampling all the tasty menu options at the Tandoor Chop House. We dined at 17.00 and the place was filling up fast. We rather felt that we were being rushed through our meal, even though the restaurant website said that we would have our table for 2 hours. Portions were on the small side, but actually, I rather liked that. We were insure as to what some of the dishes were, so had to ask for guidance from our very friendly waiter, however, I did wonder whether it might have saved them a bit of time if the dishes listed had a description next to them. Considering that the portions were on the small side, it was a little expensive especially as you really needed a side dish or two to make your meal complete. Very tasty though!

Have been here several times already. The menu choice is modest but the food is excellent.
The attitude of our server let it down this time. He gave no help in drinks or menu selection just saying we should ourselves refer to the menu. We were also presented with the bill without asking. Turning tables was his priority.
Sitting in the corner by the front window we found it noisy and difficult to have a proper conversation. A more open table may have proved to be better.
I will return....... the food is too good!
