Amazing food. The tasting menu was perfect. Pricey but worth it.
Favourite restaurant in London, and the crispy lobster is outstanding, and such great staff.
Excellent menu, great wine and attentive staff
My favourite restaurant! Outstanding food. Pricey but lovely for a treat. Great service
Saturday evening dinner- we had the gourmet set meal and every single course was fabulous
Service was first class
Everything was good.
The bill was expensive but I expected that- I think the 20% service charge is too high but I’m not missing too much
Would I go back? Definitely
Dear Ian, Thank you dining with us and for the review and excellent feedback. Just to clarify the service charge is 12.5% We hope to welcome you back at Tamarind. Kind regards, Tamarind team
The food was delicious and very generous for a tasting menu.
The staff were very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was as warming.
Would highly recommend we will most definitely be back again.
What a fabulous restaurant. The food was exceptional, the service was personal but not intrusive and the environment was just lovely. Can’t wait to go back.
Delicious food, first and foremost - with great vegetation options. The staff are very attentive, have a close eye on hygiene and were all wearing facemasks too.
Well spaced for Covid isolation, staff all wearing masks, excellent attention to diners, very good food
Really Excellent! I would recommended it. I will come back.
Incredible experience. My partner and I tried the tasting menu and every dish included was amazing. The fried lobster was my favourite dish but everything on the menu is to die for. The service and ambience was exceptional and they had a very robust wine list. This was my 6th time dining at Tamarind Mayfair and it continues to impress me every visit. We will definitely be back soon!
Our first time at Tamarind and it didn’t disappoint. From being welcomed and taken to a lovely table, to being advised on the food and menu, they were able to answer any questions we had. It was a birthday meal for my husband and we had an unforgettable experience. Can’t wait to return!
We visited Tamarind for my wife’s birthday. They did a small cake which was great. Overall service was great.
Food tasted good, and the starters were great (and not the usual stuff you get in other Indian restaurants), but the main course was simple (tasty nonetheless but nothing exceptional)
The only problem was that the food did not agree with both me and my wife, and we had stomach issues for a day. Don’t know the reason for it, but I would not have expected this from a restaurant of this repute.
Overall paying £50 per person it felt a bit overpriced (despite the fact that we opted for the cheaper lunch menu).
Amazing dinner. Highly recommend anyone. Quality of service was unbelievable and the food was just beautiful.
While the staff were friendly and nice we were quite disappointed with the overall experience. The food is not at all worth the price. We ordered some grills which was served to us first but then it took about 30 minutes for them to serve our biryani by which time we had even lost our appetite.
Its one of the best restaurants in London. Top 3 Indian restaurants. imaginative food and
very good service.
I’ve been here before and it was and still is very good. Despite the current climate, food and service were outstanding. We had the taster menu which was exquisite especially the rabbit kebab as part of the starters. A little birthday cake was also brought out for my partner as it was his birthday meal.
After the lockdown this was the only restaurant that was on my agenda I wouldn’t have went any where else, always at home when I go, the food atmosphere and service is above an beyond.
Love it at Tamarind
Number 1. place for me when it comes to great food, a must if you haven’t been please do, you will enjoy all round guaranteed.
Delicious Indian gastro experience.
Tamarind always delivers flawless customer service and food. The amazing innovative food and drinks simply cannot be described unless you experience Tamarind first hand. The ambience of the new decor and open kitchen just adds to the experience and evenings dining.
As always, I cannot wait to go back!
Thank you Tamarind and all your wonderful staff.. please never change..
Very tasty & fresh food and fantastic service - would highly recommend
During these very strange times we live in, it was a pleasant relief to dine out at Tamarind, the staff were attentive, wore masks at all times, the guests were spaced out very well and enough sanitizers were available to alleviate our concerns. The food was delectable, light, full of flavour and presented as you would imagine fine dining to be.
Go to Tamarind for a truly relaxing, enjoyable evening and savour the delights on offer
Very generous portions
Another great lunch at Tamarind.
They looked after my daughter si well to celebrate her long awaited 16th Birthday as she missed out as restaurant was closed days before her reservation on March 22nd.
They gave us free drinks and a cake plate extra to celebrate her day.
Tasting Menu to as a great way to try the best dishes on the menu
Loved it!!!! Was a fabulous first night back to dining in London!
Starters were excellent, nice restaurant.
Mains were not quite as tasty as other Michelin star Indian restauraunts
The food and service was amazing. Really recommend the lamb chops
In my view this is the best Indian food in London, with no disrespect intended to Athol Kulchar. It is amazingly delicious.Service ambiance etc outstanding too
Wonderful, one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had! The micro greens, avocado and papaya salad, and the elegant take on Indian street food, were outstanding. Service was warm but unobtrusive. The waiters and managers were genuinely proud of their restaurant and the experience they created. They even showed us the kitchens, the clay ovens and the grills. We will be back.
Fabulous food. Generous portions. The Gourmet menu option was absolutely devine.
Went for my sisters birthday. Starters were good but mains were horrible. Especially for the price we paid. Every dish was over powered with cardamon. They gave us extra desserts which was nice but we just couldn’t finish it
Our group of four went for the Gourmet menu at lunchtime. Our nut and chocolate allergies were both expertly and smoothly dealt with. I've had plenty of tasting menus and this was one of the very best. Generous, delicious and honest food served in a very pleasant environment. We ate upstairs and then met the chefs downstairs to round off our delightful visit.
Two of us had the wine flight which was a treat and two enjoyed the beer selection. I would love to go again and try some of the other menu dishes.
Place is fab and service was great. Vegan choices very good but for indian food could be better. Noodle salad and kale salad were delicious. Lunch two course is great value for money.
Simply brilliant. Delicious food beginning to end, amazing service.
