This is a fabulous restaurant, everything about it is great. The food and the service are excellent. You will not be disappointed.
Good service, good environment and good food. Would recommend to friends
Our Tai Tai experience was fantastic. The service was great and the food absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.
Food was fantastic and service was great
Love the bang bang chicken and prawn and scollop ginger stir fry!
the staff were excellent , the menu for new years eve was definitely sufficient , the staff constantly asked if all was ok.
We were pleased by the friendly and product knowledgeable staff. The food was well presented and matched the menu descriptions the dishes were flavoursome and delicious
We made a last minute booking and we were not disappointed with our little find. Such great food and lovely staff. The location is awesome to go for a walk or see a movie afterward.
The food is excellent and location so convenient for theatre and South Bank.
Great ambience. Wonderful food, but service a little all over the shop. When you had the attention of staff it was fabulous but could wait long time before catching the eye of staff.
However, food and friendly chatter soon made you forget this small indiscretion.
If you want great Dim Sum and amazing Fried Rice this is quite the place. Road noise is a bit distracting but overall the food and ambience was quite worth it. I’m glad we stayed on South Bank and was within walking distance to this amazing place.
Food was amazing. Great service. Value for money. Will definitely be back
Try Tai Tai don't be shy shy. With super attentive Staff from the second you walk in, to the food taking you instantly to Hong Kong, it will not disappoint. Delicious, Perfect and a cut above the rest.
Amazing food and location
The dumplings were insane
Food was tasty and well presented. The duck dish, although delicious, wasn't served in a manner that made it easy to eat - and there was a lot of duck for only 6 pancakes. Would definitely recommend for the food.
Was let down on this occasion by the service - our table was largely unattended, people took requests for additional tea cups and forgot them, drink orders weren't taken, nobody really checked in on how it was going or cleared the table between servings. Could see much better service being delivered on the side of the restaurant near the road, but our side was almost forgotten.
Will probably return because the food was so good.
There was a girl that served us and she just always took half an order or just got the order wrong. we just assumed she was new - she was very green
Friendly staff, beautiful food, asked if we were pre theatre booking so made sure food arrived quickly with heaps of time to eat and enjoy. Thoroughly recommend.
Tai Tai is a great drop in place, often pre-theatre. It has a good, albeit concise, menu and a reasonable drinks list. Service was prompt and efficient. Our problem was choosing it as a (we thought) quiet place to for two of us to celebrate a major birthday and we had not allowed for the street noise as well as the noise from a fairly loud group of male business diners. None of this is really the fault of the restaurant. If Grey Street was a mall, the venue would be great. But bike and car hooners never add much ambience.
Great service , food had plenty of flavour. Overall good night out
Xiao long bao were good
Assorted steamed basket of dim sum were average
Char siu and Yangzhou fried rice were amazing.
We shared a bottle of sparkling water and were charged for 2 whole bottles.
If it wasnt for the average dim sum and being overcharged for water, they'd get a better rating. Check your bill kids 👍🏽
They accepted a very late booking by me on Saturday night which was appreciated. The service was excellent and the food very good. We unfortunately had a very loud woman sitting next to us which was annoying but hardly the restaurants fault.
Overall it was great and we will be going again!
Great food. I mean really great. Definitely visit again when next in Brisbane.
Good location and tasty food made for a good night. The wine by glass list is a bit limited but OK. The disappointing part was the service. We waited longer than would normally be expected for our food order to be take. More annoyingly, two waiters promised to bring water which didn’t appear until we asked a third time. One waiter promised to bring a glass of wine which wasn’t on the single glass list, but this didn’t happen. When I queried this I was just told ‘this one is better’, without apology for the failure to do what was promised. These issues took the edge off what otherwise would have been an enjoyable meal.
Been wanting to go to this restaurant all year as I always see it full and the food looks incredible. Finally went and was overwhelmed by not only the food but the service as well.
Been recommending it to everyone and so thought I'd post about it too.
Congratulations on a great space.
The food is delicious and great servings are generous as they are designed to share
The food and service was amazing. I would recommend eating there.
Excellent, attentive and helpful service accompanied by a varied and interesting menu. The food was very well prepared and the ingredients fresh. We enjoyed the tasty dishes that we shared. A good drinks menu (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), although a non-alcoholic beer would have made the experience perfect. We will definitely return. The probity to WPAC is another attraction.
Food was awesome, will definitely return and recommend to friends.
Only issue we had was with one of meals. The beef in the stir fry was well under so we couldn’t eat it all. We didn’t want to bother with complaining at the time.
Wonderful dining experience: excellent meal, wine and service. Nicole and manager were both outstanding - superb!
The food at Tai Tai is always so lip-smackingly good, service is attentive and the wine list excellent. What's not to like?
Location was good however the meal was unappealing. The beef was very chewy and riddled with fatty bits. We are usually not fussy but we left feeling like we wasted our money.
Tai Tai is one of my favourite restaurants. We have eaten here many times and will be back. The food is always good.
It’s located in a convenient location. The staff is friendly & attentive service. Great venue to catch up with friends for a quick lunch/dinner.
The food here is sublime and the service was very prompt which is great for before the theatre
The food is delicious and true to origins. The service from the manager and ?owner was excellent. Would definitely recommend it as it has a great outdoorsy casual vibe.
So delicious. We had the crispy pork belly, asian greens and special fried rice. Was so fast and scrumptious. Perfect for a pre-QPAC dinner.
A great place for dining before a QPAC event. Fast service (we told them we had just over an hour) and the food was outstanding in both flavour and presentation and the house wine was very enjoyable and value for money.
Tai Tai is always very good ,good food ,waiters ambience excellent
Tai Tai got recommended to us and we are delighted with the experience. Staff are warm and welcoming and the space is open and refreshing. The Szechuan bang bang chicken and the wagyu dish was delicious with our fried rice. Will absolutely recommend to those who are visiting Southbank.
