I’ve been to Suvlaki soho a few times, but I was left feeling disappointed by my last visit.
The pork kritharaki was warm on arrival and the pork and lamb souvlaki in the wraps was slightly overcooked bordering on burnt which made the meat tougher than normal to eat.
Great value and atmosphere, even though the space is quite small. The waiters are friendly and good with recommending food. If you come with bigger group, you have to book in advance otherwise you're not gonna get a table. The food is amazing and they taste healthy.
Best restaurant in London. Been several times and the food is amazing. Always my go to place for pre-theatre.
This was work lunch with team mates. We decided to go for tapas to share different dishes between us. Initially the waiter offered 3 tapas per person, but we have ordered 2 each and to be honest, I was stuffed in the end, so if you are going as a large group, try ordering less dishes and add on, if you still feel hungry.
The quality of food was good, but we did feel that for the amount of food presented with each dish, prices were a bit too high. However the whole experience was quite enjoyable, but I would probably got for wraps next time.
So lovely! Great food even better service, the waitress was incredibly beautiful and friendly 10/10
Consistently good !
What an amazing find! Small intimate restaurant with top quality food. The baked Feta was sensational, service was perfect
Cosy Taverna with friendly staff and great food. Location is great too, close to some good spots for after dinner drinking!
Another delicious meal!!! Honestly those courgette fritters are I my top 5 dishes anywhere!!!
Restaurant is in a great location of soho and easy to find. It’s a cute hidden gem. The food was tasty and there’s a good choice of meat, seafood and vegetarian options. Service was good and the waiters/waitresses were very helpful and checked to make sure the food was ok.
My only negatives were that we were placed in a corner close to the toilet & kitchen doors? So every time someone went in that direction my chair was getting knocked. I’m rather small framed so tend to sit with my chair close to the table generally, but even so my chair was still getting knocked. The other thing is that there was a very strong smell of bleach coming from the direction of the toilet/kitchen? doors which is really off putting when eating.
I would come here again and recommend to friends, but would ask to sit somewhere different :)
Awesome dining experience! Wonderful food and great atmosphere
I always love coming to this place! The food is great and the staff is always very nice. Of course, the space is small so you must book in advance and you can expect to be very cosy with other people. But it is all worth it because the food is really really amazing!
Table space too narrow and cramped. Overpriced for the average quality food they serve.
My second time in Suvlaki. Irene the friendly manager still remembered me from a few months ago. Service was attentive despite it being busy and full. The menu had changed a little since I last came but the food was still just as good. The lamb chops were tender and flavourful. A lovely Greek local gem in Soho!
Lovely evening in this cozy restaurant with excellent food and service
Always amazing!
Amazing little gem - fantastic authentic flavours of Greece!
One of my favourite restaurants in London. Amazing service, amazing food. Every time I’m in London I try to have dinner here. Couldn’t recommend it more!
Lovely little find in Soho. Only small so for an evening meal I would always pre book. Food delicious, tasty little tapas. Highly recommend
Absolutely top drawer in every way - attentive service by waiting staff and superb food. Authentic and reasonably priced tasty dishes.
Second visit to this cool Greek restaurant in Soho. This time went for lunch and it was a bit quieter. few new additions to the menu and all the other great items as before. Food comes as it is ready which its in with the informal atmosphere here. Food was great as before. We shared courgette fritters, spicy prawn croquettes, baked aubergine with walnuts and feta and I had a great chicken suvlaki wrap.
Friendly service matched with great food. A nice place to eat in Soho and a refreshing change from the more traditional Greek restaurants. Suvlaki is a modern twist on Greek food and it works really well.
Great food and a friendly, relaxed and lively atmosphere. Great for pre theatre.
Amazing food, friendly people, decent prices. The place is very small and we were a bit squeezed but we didn’t mind that at all. And the fudge that you get with the bill... heavenly!
Food was great, but the place is very cramped and the staff were polite enough.
Great spot with fabulous food where every mouthful can be appreciated.
Best greek food I've ever had. Staff were extremely friendly. Will ive going back.
Small restaurant with a big heart... a really great find
The food tasted nice, however, I wasn't keen on the modern tapas style which was expensive for what we got
Slightly over priced, but you're paying for the location of central London. Great food and lovely selection of Greek tapas style dishes.
We got our table just in time, they explained us the menu, and received recommendations of it, they even ask us if we were having a good time in the city. Great service.
Great food in the heart of Soho.
Great food where no compromise is made on the quality.
Service is quick and efficient with a very friendly staff.
A must try and come-back!
Amazing food and amazing service, a little gem in Soho. Such a good recommendation from a friend!
Great find. Everything perfect... food is excellent
Amazing food at such a good price! Very small but that adds to its charm. Possibly not the best place to take people which would not be able to sit on a low stall - although most tables had chairs.
As always Suvlaki will never let you down!! Always impressed and always in love with this food!! See you soon Suvlaki!!
Small & cosy , Amazing food very authentic, souvlaki cooked perfectly,Courgette fritters are a must ,great service ,we were looked after .
Greek authentic cuisine. The atmosphere is very friendly and cosy and the staff are very helpful.
Great food choices, would recommend 3 per person as some are quite rich. But good Athenian grill. Would recommend
Great food, went with Greek pal too so not just a comparison to the local kebab shop. Service fine just a bit odd at times. Tables far too small. I’m six foot and found stools far too small to use.
Far too many tables packed in to the space they have, guess that’s the soho rent/rates impact.
Great dinner at Sulavaki. Must have the prawn saganaki and the chilli lamb chops
