Excellent food and atmosphere!
Kids food (noodles) came out luke warm at best, filets were NOT the temperature we ordered them at. We had to send them back for being overdone, and then after waiting, we sent them back again for being underdone. It’s almost as if our food was sitting and not served on time. The restaurant was not crowded, with maybe only 5 tables taken in the whole restaurant. Most of the tables were empty. We were disappointed in our experience this time at Sullivan’s.
It was fine as usual.
Ribeye was cooked to perfection. I didn't add pepper or salt and didn't allow them to add any of their seasoned toppings. Juicy and tender; I am pleased.
Food wasnt up to par. Perhaps because it was Valentine's weekend. I'll try again but food was served cold and not its usual quality.
The restaurant was warm and cozy. We had reservations and were promptly seated at a lovely table for two. Our waitress and waiter introduced themselves. The waiter helped me pick a delicious martini. My husband and I chose the 3 course meal and it was more than enough. We had filets and they were the best steaks we had ever eaten. The deserts were great. We had a wonderful dinner and will definitely be back!
Our waiter Michael was awesome! He made our 10 year anniversary very special.
It was a wonderful meal. Excellent food in a great location. The server was wonderful.
We enjoyed a lovely evening with 2 lovers on Valentines Day. The menu was awesome and the food was superb! We will definitely visit again.
Steak cooked perfectly but was not a fan of the asparagus. Wait staff was excellent!
It was Valentine’s Day!! What a great evening, treated us with chocolate covered strawberries with the bill! Our food was phenomenal!
We have been patrons of Sullivan’s for years. It’s one of our favorites. But On Valentines Day we were both terribly disappointed. Yes we knew it was Valentines Day, and had an early 5:30 reservation . We were seated at the bankett
On the end right in the aisle to the kitchen. We asked if we could be moved as at that time there were plenty of open tables some set for 2. The hostess responded they were fully booked and couldn’t change the table. I try and roll with it but the couple seated less than 12 inches from us were speaking so loud we could not hear each other across the table. When they finally finished, he got up and knocked the salt and pepper mill off the table as well as the candle. Tables just too too close. When you spend $200 for dinner and a glass of wine the atmosphere should be a little better. Our food and server were excellent but I don’t think a little space is too much to ask for in such a nice restaurant.
Very disappointing Valentine’s/Birthday dinner. Actually the worst Valentine’s dinner that my wife and I ever had but we laughed it off so it wouldn’t ruin our night. They had a small selection 3 course menu. My wife ordered the salmon and I ordered the chicken. When they brought out my wife’s meal she cut into the salmon and it was COMPLETELY raw inside. Not slightly undercooked, but I’m talking a completely raw piece of fish. It was absolutely disgusting. Of course we let our server know and when the manager brings back the plate they used the same exact piece of fish that was cut in several pieces that they took back and side that was in contact with the raw fish to begin with. I’m just going to assume they used the same plate as well as they clearly lack following food safety. Also, the chicken I had was dry and had no flavor at all. Very disappointing as it was $80/per person and neither of our meals were satisfying. Overpriced and not a good experience for how much I paid! Such a waste of money!
Lunch on Valentine's Day was great. Food and service very good. Good steaks cooked exactly as ordered.
Made a specific reservation for a anniversary, which was not at all acknowledged by the staff due to it being a same sex couple . Disappointed in the staff
A Naperville staple.
I have tried many steak houses. This is one of the best I’ve had. Properly aged and cooked.
Was a good meal. It would be nice if they had regular mashed potatoes. Everyone doesn’t want horseradish in their potatoes
My steak was under cooked. They reheated they same piece when they sent it back out it was almost over done. We haven’t been back in a few years and I had a similar experience then. Disappointing night.
Weekend dinner. Kids were in town for a weekend visit. Hadn't been here in awhile and was pleasantly surprised. Great meal. Cooked to perfection. The place was packed and there were a lot of people waiting. So if there was one thing to mention we were hurried a bit so they could flip the table. Minor. We'll be back
One of the best steakhouses in the areas. Enough said. And the service is always tops to go along with amazing food.
Our server was professional, kind and helpful. He checked on us throughout our meal and time at Sullivan’s. He made sure we had fresh water and coffee refills.
The food was delicious and cooked to our preferences.
The setting was elegant and peaceful.
Thank you Sullivan’s!
The service and food was excellent. The ribeye was one of best 💕. I will be back
Wonderful place great food and awesome atmosphere!
Bad experience at Sullivans. To begin with, the floor and one of our utensils was dirty. One of our waters had a big clear plastic thing in it. The martini was lukewarm and too sweet, and was really bad for $16. My husband's steak had gristle running through it. It was hard to catch the waiter's attention, but when we did, we told him about the steak and he did replace it with the filet, which was a lot better. I'm sure they would have corrected the dirty utensil, the water and the martini if we had asked, but it was just too many things that had to be fixed. We were embarrassed about it even though Sullivan's should have been embarrassed!
Our server was Larry. He was wonderful. Great knowledge of the menu.
Very friendly and the service was outstanding.
Nice place to eat service was great.
The restaurant offered a special menu with 3 courses which all in our party selected. The food was excellent as was the service.
Had the restaurant week items. Went with another couple. Was charged $23 for an apple martini but when questioned cut it to $13. We were told that yes some cocktails are that expensive. The waiter should have mentioned that. Filet and salmon were excellent. Banana bread pudding not so good, didn't detect any banana flavor and it was very heavy.
Absolutely, the best BONELESS RIBEYE I have ever had. The steak was cooked to perfection and the "rub" or seasonings had outstanding flavorful. 🥩
We went during Naperville Restaurant Week and had the Prix Fixed special. The food was delicious and the price of $39 per person was very reasonable. It included salad, main course, potato, vegetable and dessert. Our server was very attentive. We will be returning.
We had a party of 11 and everyone really liked the food and ambiance. We will be back.
Excellent service and food. We went during Resturant week so we experienced exceptional food for a very reasonable price.
Food is always great. My only complaint is the garlic is too heavy on their mashed potatoes and their is too much salt on their baked potato so I'm never quite satisfied either way I go, but the steaks are top notch and always prepared to order. Sides are well done as are the appetizers. Desserts are great.
We got lucky and found out it was Restaurant Week which makes a usually very expensive dinner almost a value meal. One of our favorite restaurants.
Service was excellent and food was exceptional!
Enjoyed a restaurant week special at the restaurant. They were busy in the restaurant and the bar area. We were seated in a timely manner. Service was wonderful. Ribeye a bit salty, but the remainder of the meal was on point.
No "Refer to friend" questions in the future. For better service, more waiters/waitresses should be on hand during Dinner hours.
