Currently the best place to eat in Leeds! Amazing!
My cousin came from Australia and I thought we would give Stuzzi a go. Well it was the best decision I could have made. The food was amazing, we ordered 8 dishes and 3 desserts between 4 of us and we were stuffed. The Capunti & arancini were particularly memorable. Everything tasted absolutely fantastic.
The food was INCREDIBLE! Service was top, wine was lovely and the bill only came to £60 for 2 of us inc 3 dishes and a bottle of red x
Great food. Menu regularly changes. Service was attentive and helpful advising about food and drinks.
Excellent Italian take on tapas. There were 5 of us and we chose the 10 dishes on offer and shared. The quantity of food, timing of service were both excellent. We disagreed about the value with the majority thinking that it was good value.
The staff were to a person superb, showing knowledge, humour and patience.
Amazing! It is honestly the best Italian food I have ever eaten outside of Italy, but its a close second.
If I could there everyday I would do. Everyone should try this place!
Excellent food and lovely service! Really enjoyable to share a selection of different dishes, a great idea! The arancini was a real highlight!
The only reason marked down for ambience was it was Friday lunch and only 2 parties in service and advice re menus excellent
Overall an impeccable experience. Food was fantastic, service was great and the atmosphere/setting was just as we like it - lots of character, not at all pretentious and really welcoming. Would highly recommend.
I've been to the Stuzzi in Harrogate many many times. The Leeds restaurant isn't as good. Can be more plainer than that really.
Underwhelming, expensive street food not what I expected.
Fabulous food, excellent service and superb wine selection. Loved it!
Fantastic food, best Italian in Leeds!! Couldn’t recommend it more for quality food, wine and service.
Really good wine and they know about it. Authentic experience but not pretentious
I’m not mad keen on the entrance up the stairs, but restaurant is quite nice inside
Would only recommend with caviats. Offered bread and olives, no price on menu. Assumed they were free. Charged £4.50 for bread and £4.50 for a few very ordinary olives in a small dish. We felt that we had been deceived and fleeced.
Expensive wine list. Good White Russian cocktail but it was £8.50.
Main dishes good especially ham hock pasta.
Tiramisu cheesecake somewhat sickly.
Unable to provide coffee with skimmed/semi-skimmed milk.
Staff not in uniform of any kind. Served by one man with a grubby looking tee-shirt and a woman neatly dressed in black and white. Others wearing patterned jumpsuits - difficult to differentiate from customers. Not what one expects from a new up-market restaurant with wine up to £500 a bottle.
Left with mixed feelings.
Fabulous meal with friends. Great choice of dishes for our varied group and every one was delicious. Loved the ambience of the restaurant and definitely will be back
Booked a table on sunday evening, booking wasn’t needed as it was very quiet. Everything was brilliant - the staff were friendly and knowledgable, the food and wine were excellent. Highly recommend the ricotta and sour cherry gelato for dessert!
Amazing food and very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
We had seven dishes between four of us, followed by desserts and coffee. We all agreed the food was very good. The service was great, everybody was friendly and knowledgeable. We did feel the wine list was on the pricey side. We had two bottles of wine costing approx £40 and £50 and neither were particularly remarkable. We liked the decor and found the artwork amusing. The toilets were not kept clean and got worse through the evening - my main reason for not giving 5 stars.
Not sure if Stuzzi know their market... the cheapest wine starts at around £25 going up to +£400 so they must assume their clients have plenty of money to spend and they are in the fine dining market. However the service isn't very professional and the food although stated as made daily does not seem so! Home made fresh pasta surely shouldn't be hard...al dente yes but not hard!! The music was so loud we asked several times for it to be turned down so we could comfortably talk ...it was turned down but not for long! Jimmy Hendrix's all along the watch tower is an amazing track but for a restaurant at loud volume not so sure!! Maybe this restaurant isn't aimed at our middle age market but don't see how they can succeed with their ambiance and poor food quality.
Great food, good service. Booked in to return in a few weeks!
Great food and presentation. Music too high though
Lovely meal and staff. No rush and chilled atmosphere. My second visit and I will be back.
This is one of those little gems that you have to try, the menu is quite small but extremely varied where the quality definitely shines through. Its quite a noisy place which we found a little intrusive at times but we were moved with no problems at all to a slightly quieter area.
Overall you are doing yourself a major injustice by not trying the food at Stuzzi Leeds!
I was a little unsure of the menu choices when going for the first time with a group of friends. However, everyone was delighted with the quality of the food - it was absolutely delicious. The Mushroom Arancini in particular was amazing, but we enjoyed everything we ate. We shared a doughnut dessert, which was plentiful and also amazing.
We will definitely be returning to this treasure of a restaurant. Some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten!
Good food, well presented and lovely ambience. Went for long lunch with my best friend and felt able to enjoy our time together. Looking forward to going back for the evening experience with my husband!!
Great restaurant, the staff were helpful and clued up on the menu even though it’s always changing. The food was great especially the starter board! Cheese and meat heaven!
Beautiful setting, delicious food, brilliant service.
Couldn’t ask for more, thanks!
Fantastic food and great service. Took a 1 year old and we were made to feel very welcome
Absolutely delicious food and wonderful, friendly service. I ate so much that I struggled to stand. But no regrets, would definitely do it all again. One improvement would be to have linen napkins.
All of the waitresses are great except one that looks confused all the time and like she really doesn’t want to be there.
Overpriced wine, bland food. A real shame because it was a birthday meal.
Lovely food... lovely people
We absolutely loved this restaurant in Harrogate and this new Leeds version is even better. Simon the manager and all of the staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The food is amazing as always and the restaurant layout is fab too. Love the bar at the top!
Fab restaurant. As with all the reviews the team there really know there stuff. Wine list was a bit daunting but team were really helpful in getting a great bottle without trying to up sell. Can’t wait to go back.
Outstanding. Interesting combinations, top quality ingredients and excellent unpretentious service. It doesn’t get much better than this.
4 visit and all have been equally amazing. Menu changes each time so there is always something else to try!
Such lovely food and great gin selection. I have been to the Harrogate restaurant before but my personal preference is Leeds. Great service
This is my second trip to Stuzzi’s and I’d been going on about how great it was to my husband so brought him along this time. The menu is uncomplicated and everything is delicious! We chose a platter along with a pasta dish and two glasses of the best Prosecco I’ve ever had (the Vaporetto).
We finished the meal with a LOT of ice cream. Little tip, one scoop of ice cream is actually plenty, so no need to go for two like we did. The sour cherry is amazing..
Just go, it’s my new favourite place.
Really great experience. Great service and great food.
