We were a Group of 6 friends and we had a special ocasion to celebrate a trip. We made a reservation in an outdoor table. But when we arrrived there they had decided to close an area with some of the outdoor tables and there was no outdoor table for us. Just for 3 other customers, including a famous rapper. We where very desapointed and had to sit inside, but the noise was terrible and we could not hear to each other in the table. I felt very sad and I would never recomend this place for friends.
Very loud, steak over cooked and dry. Arrived at 7:00 didn’t get food till 8:30
We went to STK to celebrate my daughter’s 21st Birthday. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service in comparison with the service and food we had experienced in the past from other New York fine dining establishments. Our server seemed uninterested in making this experience anything other than average. I ordered the 6oz filet, medium, but my steak was well done and dry. I, unfortunately, won’t be back and would not recommend.
Not only was the food amazing but the service was very quick & extremely friendly. Our waitress made sure we were okay & the food came within a good amount of time . Can’t wait to go back
Too hot, not enough shadow, music too loud and overpriced average food.
All the ingredients for a “teen’s” trendy restaurant
Great atmosphere. The food was simply perfect. Steak was cooked right and sides were even better. Drinks were a little pricy but it’s what you would expect. Music on point and it was at the perfect volume. Amazing night out.
The service from our waiter was amazing . As we arrived to the restaurant finding the location was easy we spoke to the host regarding our reservation but had to wait 10 more minutes for a table . Table of two are very close together and a communion style environment, making it a bit uncomfortable to have conversations and eat on small tables . Food was amazing served how it was described and I would recommend this location to a friend
Great food and service - would highly recommend if you’re in the market for a good steak.
Honestly, one of the worse STK locations I have been to. It needs to be renovated. The steak was good, mine came out medium well when it was supposed to be medium rare but they fixed that. The cookie dessert was fantastic. Drinks were very pricey. Tables were wobbly. Chairs were wobbly. Needs a good renovation.
Wildly over priced with zero flavor. The shrimp was so horribly done, and the baked Mac n cheese was so bad I considered taking it home and giving it to a rat on the subway platform. If you enjoy eating, this place isn’t for you.
My rooftop experience was very lackluster. The climate was dark and very cold. I had to wait about 30 minutes even though I had reservations and came on time. The food was ok, nothing exceptional even though it was from the Restaurant Week Menu. Can’t stay I will be back unfortunately.
They took our plates before we were done eating. I definitely got overcharged for two glasses of wine. It was so loud my date and I were yelling at each other across the table. Steak was not properly seasoned; TONS of salt in random bites.
Overall not worth it.
It was louder than what we were looking for
No bueno. Very weak restaurant week menu. And even the times I’ve been there outside of restaurant week. The food is only OK at best. Def not worth the hype. Terrible value. I can have a much better steak for half the price. Great place though it u want to impress someone. Ambiance is awesome. Very upscale. That’s about it
It was very noisy but great ambience.
A nice venue. With a reservation, we still had to wait almost 15 minutes for a table. Noisy, and tables were very tight. However, the food and service was up to par.
Food portions were quite small, salmon wasn’t anything special, octopus was okay but came with this really unappetizing sour-tasting salad. Drinks were mediocre. Server only came to my table once, became quite a hassle to get some salt & pepper. Didn’t quite find anything outstanding about this place.
So & So
Rapporto qualità prezzo non equilibrato, servizio freddo e sbrigativo, location che fa la differenza rispetto ad altri place ma non giustifica la spesa.
Food was great, tried the restaurant week menu. Overall good
The food was good and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely go back but the only I wouldn’t order are the truffle fries.
I went to STK Rooftop during restaurant week. The food and service was great. Our server Tuan was very friendly and made sure everything was to our liking. Would recommend for a nice night out!
The waiter was super nice and attentive she recommended some drinks and food to start with. Overall great service
Music was a bit too loud
Hostess was a little snarky and unfriendly. Everything else was perfect
We went for restaurant week. We waited over 15 mins for our table (with a reservation, after showing up on time) to be called then have to wait again for our table to be set. The communication among the staff needs work. Our silverware and glasses were horribly dirty, restaurant week portions are pretty small but we expected that. Our waitress was kind but inattentive. Ambiance was the best part of the meal. Very picturesque outdoor space and scenery.
We went to Rooftop for Restaurant Week menu. The food was definitely good (for that deal) - otherwise, I do not expect to return.
Sunday brunch with my family and fiends. With my baby along I was concerned about the high volume of the music for my baby. At times we could hardly hear each other speak. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue, however it doesn’t appear to be family-friendly for babies.
It was not what I expected, more of a night club vibe, couldn't hear my guest speak or the waitress. VERY LOUD had a headache when I left
Food is okay, very expensive, service is okay but they try to rush you to order
Brilliant restaurant serving great food with amazing views and fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommended.
My date and I had a pleasant evening at STK. We found the rooftop a little small, but there was a very festive atmosphere. The staff was really nice and our waiter was stupendous. He graciously served us and was very attentive. He very politely took pictures of us even while he was busy. The meal was fine; I personally didn’t think it was worth anywhere the price charged but that’s the price of living it up, I guess. Overall a fun place to spend an evening when the weather is nice.
Rooftop was busy and LOUD. Our 19$ cocktails were lukewarm and the medium rare steak came out more like well done. A lot of tourists more of a party scene than dinner. Mediocre experience at best.
We went here tonight to try something new in nyc and to celebrate my fiancé’s bday. The ambiance for where we were was wonderful considering we were on a rooftop in the meat packing district. Upon arriving our “hostess” took our name and reservation and told me “once my host returns she will seat you.” After watching multiple groups of 2 people and more be taken to their seats for their reservations I had to go back to the first young lady and reiterate our reservation. She apologized and we were sat immediately . The hostess Jacqueline who sat us was sweet and overwhelmed. We requested to have a different table and she immediately made the accommodation. She’s a great part of the Team.
Our server was great except he looked to be wearing a “uniform” that had been through the ringer. Took about 15 minutes to get water that we had to ask a server for. First drinks were ordered, fiancé orders the STK mule and it was ALL ginger beer. I ordered a vodka seltzer and lime and it was sans the vodka lol new drinks were made thankfully and had alcohol this time.
Salads were ok but lacked flavor.shrimp cocktail was fishy limp & warm Filet Mignon cooked to perfection. Asparagus side was yummy but half of our stalks were undercooked/not ready to serve. Mac and cheese had mushrooms in it which isn’t disclosed. Best part was the crunchy top layer. Cheese was bitter. Desserts were Key lime pie which was amazing! I ordered a frozen s’mores and the best part was the burned marshmallow . The rest was essentially a klondike bar frozen to the plate. The only thing they nailed was the steak . For the price and aggravation of the meal it wasn’t worth it. Sadly we tried something new & this proves many reasons why we don’t. I was excited for this evening especially considering we were celebrating his 35th. $400 for a meal that wasn’t perfect start to finish just isn’t acceptable. I know plenty of hall in the wall places in NYC that we can attend for much more and much less financially.
Nice place when the weather is good!
Awesome sunset views. Fantastic service. The bartender's cocktails were the best we have had in nyc. Usually they are just thrown together to make something that sound cool, but this tender balanced the sweetness and the alcohol in a couple drinks that were sooooo drinakble we would have ordered pitchers of them. Went for Restaurant week but will be back. The "bacon" is actually a short rib and so worth it. Top 5 bacon in the city. Only constructive criticism is their choice of mostly new world wines. I'm just not a American Oak person. Thanks - it was really great.
The hostess cancelled my reservation right in front of me after asking twice who I was and what my reservation time was. She pulled up the reservation and then I received an email saying it was canceled when she told me check again. She seated my friend and I in some corner. The waiter and other staff members were great though
Went for lunch on a sunny summer day and it was very hot on the rooftop, limited shade tables. The food was good but price for us was not worth the portion sizes or quality. Maybe the ambiance at night makes it more worth the prices?
We went to celebrate 3 birthdays.the energy and feel was outstanding. The food was spectacular and Candy our server was beyond exceptional. We are all over 55 with me being 67.The oysters were fresh the salads exceptional.Steak and Sea Bass were great with wonderful sides of Grits, mushrooms (got a 2nd order) and asparagus. Dessert and coffee was great.Expensive but well worth it.
Came here after seen the online photos, not as nice as the pic view was meh extremely over priced, should have gone to the one down stairs
