It was a little chilly outside but the food was very good!! Service was pretty good as well! Just a little slow to start when we got sat

The worst steakhouse dining experience I've ever had. Waited 15 minutes to get to order
drinks. They screwed up the drinks twice. Once serving Tequila for single malt Scotch.
They didn't bring out fresh bread until we asked for it. Steaks were brought out before the salads were. When they were brought back, one was undercooked and the other overcooked. I asked to speak to the manager who basically cut the Bill in half after he heard about our experience. I would gladly have paid the full price if this restaurant had a clue what to do.
P.S. I never write reviews but hopefully this will serve as a warning to others.

Food and service always amazing at STK no complaints!

My salmon was amazing and the wagyu sliders were good. The steak could have been better for the price and the sides were alright. Desert was really good.

First time in New York and visited the STK - Midtown restaurant on a date night with my wife. Everything from the ambience and atmosphere, plating displays of our dinners, to the food itself was fabulous! My wife and I enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this restaurant to others. I'll be coming back to STK - NYC - Midtown when I am back in New York.

Mili was terrific! We loved her so much and we will definitely come back as long as she is taking care of our table! It was my birthday and Mili made a surprise for me after our dinner. Definitely recommend!

Overall great minus incorrect temperature on streak , the steak was corrected and came out great the second time with complimentary extra crab meat for our Oscar style steaks , good music and nice vibe , we enjoyed ourselves

The food was very good, but we had a few concerns.

While a member of our party ordered a bottle of sparkling water, I asked for a glass of tap water 3 times and never got it.

While we forget to address it, we never received one of our appetizers (the crab cakes) and we aren’t even sure if we were charged for it.

Those were two minor issues, but the main issue, was the handling of our drinks. When I ordered my first drink, the waiter asked if I wanted a “single or double”. I said double.

However, I ordered 2 more drinks during the dinner, and I never thought to clarify that I just wanted a standard drink (not a double) for the second and third round, and the waiter made them both doubles without ever asking or confirming if I still wanted doubles. We had no idea until we got the check, and we were so baffled, we forgot to check if we were charged for the missing crab cakes.

I’m admittedly not sure if this is standard protocol to keep brining double drinks, but it certainly seemed like a rather shady way to up the bill.

It's not like it used to be. I was going for a birthday dinner and was very excited as STK used to be one of my favorite restaurants. The two people I was with had the Wagyu Flat Iron and the Sea Bass. In our opinion, the Wagyu was tough, came out the wrong temperature and tasteless, the Sea Bass was fine. I had the small Fliet and it was good. The waitress ignored us most of the night and when she did come over she appeared to disregard the women at the table and focus on the man that was there. The tables were closer than 6 feet apart outside and inside appeared to be quite full too. I do not believe I will be going back and was quite disappointed with the experience.

Hostess were rude. It felt less than sophisticated there. The place is literally filled with your social media craze folks that are just there to post and tag that they went to STK.

Lastly their outdoor is some make shift seating in the public street....

We left and went to Wolfgang's Steakhouse...

Our waiter was very nice. the drinks were watered down and not worth the value. Food was cold when we finally did get it.
the ambiance was nice, not noisy, & socially distanced.

Our waiter was amazing!! I can’t remember his name, but he was a giant teddy bear who was very kind, attentive, and knew his stuff. He explained food and drinks from the menu in detail and helped out with making our food choice. Have already recommended to friends and family!

Overall good food and vibes but I have had better service at a steakhouse, it was not as personalized as other restaurants I have been to. Steak was OK and sides were delish !!

Sergey gave us a lot of details on the cuts of the meats and the sauces. He explained items well and the quality of the food was incredible. I was impressed with the quality of the steaks.

I had an amazing experience here! I celebrated my birthday this past weekend, and I’m so happy I chose STK. The food was outstanding and the service was even better! I will definitely be back soon

It was my first time here and i loved it ! The place is great and so is the customer service! Our servers name was Nelli and she was extremely kind and helpful . I loved the the entire experience I will be coming back !

Our waiter, Lamar, was a very energetic and optimistic; He really made me and my significant other’s first time an immaculate experience. His frequent check-ins made me feel welcomed as a guest as well as honored to be valued.

I was quite surprised at the quality in the taste of our food. I have eaten here before and absolutely loved the food. This time the taste was not there. The service was great!

I was also offended by the waitress need to point out the suggested tip amount on the bill. I am very aware of tipping etiquette and I found that to be rude.

I probably will not be dining here in the future.

The overall experience was excellent, staff was on point 100% of the time and the food was delivered to the table in an orderly and timely fashion. It was five of us, and we were all impressed with the taste, looks and quality of the meals.

Service was.. horrible. Confused the drink order.
The appetizers were ok.
Ordered steak it was over cooked and ice cold.
My wife ordered sea bass it also was ice cold.
The waiter took the untouched steak off the bill (Only) but not after making us feel like it was our fault and was doing us a favor by removing the steak off the bill.

Good food but little bit pricey, the service was so so , they were really crowded and we have to wait like 20 min after our reservation our to get our table. Steaks were a little cold too, you spect food to be serve hot.

Just felt they overbooked food took 1.5 hours. But it was worth the wait

Our server Ahmad was very good. Lobster Mac and Cheese was phenomenal. New GM Joe came to greet us and gave us an excellent table.

Service was the worst I experienced in my entire lifetime of dining

The food was just ok and the bill was heavy. I’ve been to maybe all major steakhouses in tri state never in my life they charge your 36 dollars for a HALF OF LOBSTER TAIL! I would rather you gave me a little lobster tail rather than cut a lobster tail down the middle and try to serve me it. And to top it off the chef knew it was B.S because he put a piece of claw meat with it! Never will a 5 star restaurant give you more meat on the side only because he/she knew that it was disrespectful to give someone that!

Amazing experience!! Celebrate my birthday and it was a 10/10.

Food was good. Server was amazing. But a $61 steak doesn’t come with any sides on the plate or anything besides the meat, and that kind of took me back! Beautiful restaurant inside and out, but not as much bang for ur buck as expected!

Overall good. Had booked an outdoor table for 5. Have to go inside the restaurant to check in. Security guard and hosts were actually quite rude. Inside the restaurant appeared nearly full. Food was good. They got a few of the temps on the steaks very wrong but flavor/quality was good. Server, Brandon, was very good.

This restaurant had the vibes! The throwback music and my food was perfect. Excellent service! Will come back the next time I’m in NY
