The food was great drinks were great service was fine... I’ve been going for years so it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary except the facts that it’s covid and outdoor seating isn’t ideal for all locations. The tables were tilting because the side walk is uneven. But really no complaints

I'm not sure if we can blame it solely on our current pandemic that we are living in, the overall service and quality of food in restaurants lately are so bad!!!!
My husband and I always loved STK over the years, the food was always amazing and the atmosphere is always so much fun, however this last visit was a terrible disappointment.
How can you serve old meat? We ordered a $100 Steak to share medium rare and a Lobster tail... in the past at All reputable Steak Houses when we order our steak that way it has a nice char on outside and a warm red center, this steak came out a weird color when meat is not fresh and no char and cold... We asked our waiter what happened he acknowledge it did not look good and sent it back... the Same steak came back 5 minutes later fully overdone... not to mention the Lobster tail looks like it never saw the broiler?? By this time the Manager Alexandra came over, she was extremely nice and accommodating asking us to come back once the inside of the restaurant opens, however it was way too late and the damage has been done... STK will no longer get my personal business and company's business as well.. even well after Covid-19 pandemic is over...
Terrible. Food was cold. No heater for outside with a 600$ bill. Sidewalk on a tilt everything spilling. Horrible.
Due to COVID had to do outside seating but they make it as pleasant as can be. It was a bit cold and a nice warming lap would have been nice. The food was average I expected more. I thought STK would be up there with places like Ruth Chris and Capital Grille I was highly underwhelmed. The dry aged steak didn’t have much flavor and the added truffle butter didn’t make a difference, lobster Mac n cheese we could have done without the best thing of the night was the glass of wine, Parmesan truffle fries and a spiced rum cocktail.
After hearing all the great things about this place I was not pleased with the service or food portions. We showed up on time for our reservation only to be seated almost a hour later the rats started taking over the outdoor dining so we had to go to the rooftop where certain items weren’t available which was confusing to me. The waitress didn’t seem interested in waiting on our table and the owner was quick to tell us to leave instead of accommodating us. The food portions were very small and we weren’t put on notice about the items that was “sold out” on the menu. First and last time visiting for me!
After arriving on time at 8:45pm for our reservation, we were told that it would be about 15 minutes until we were sat. 45 minutes later we finally were taken to a seat. This table was in the most uncomfortable area on a severe slant. Giving to the fact that outdoor dining and spacing likely caused this, we still sat to enjoy our meal. Over an hour went by before our dinner orders were taken. Finally once our food arrived the result of the cost and wait for our food was not at all worth it. All of the steaks were over cooked and barely warm when delivered to the table.
It was good
The burrata and tomato salad was good but the tomatoes had been sitting on ice a little too long. The surf and turf of lobster tail and filet mignon could have been better. The lobster tail was a little too dry and overcooked. the filet mignon 8 oz was excellent and cooked as asked for as was the 10 oz filet mignon. The cheese cake with lemon curd was tasty but the crust was soggy. One would have expected better prepared foods for the price of the dishes.
Everything was great
|Went here to celebrate my birthday. The staff was very pleasant and the service was good. The food on the other hand was not as good as I expected. The lobster tails ordered on the side had absolutely no flavor. The steak was a little dry and not very flavorful either. Mind u I ordered medium well. The mash potatoes and creamed spinach was okay. The cocktails were on point though. I just expected the food to be better than it was was.
Host was very dismissive and condescending. Didn’t let us know she was going to combine Both reservation under one bill She couldn’t sit us closer when there was enough tables and space available but came up with the bright idea to combine them under one bill without notifying the parties until it was time to pay.
Made reservations for my girlfriends bday 9/9 our waitress Nina was amazing!
Food was great, scenery wasn’t very pleasing. Due to COVID the street eating isn’t the loveliest especially for the price. Go during the day because the lighting is also very dim. They don’t make the desert special for birthdays either.
Rude hostess, followed up by server taking our order and then to never be seen again. Food was mediocre at best, definitely not worth the money - much better experiences and steak houses in NYC
I was disappointed that only the rooftop served brunch, however the food was excellent! I had the spicy watermelon margarita which was amazing and the decor for outside seating was very cute. Overall I had a great experience.
The service was poor. We waited about 15 min before anyone even came to our table. The food was not very flavorful or worth the value. I can’t say this was representative of my prior experience with this restaurant. I do not plan to return.

Beautiful ambiance with quick and efficient servers. My partner and I got the NY strip to share along with the lobster mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The steak and mac and cheese were delicious, the mashed potatoes was too soft like baby food.
Jessica was wonderful! I was disappointed to be on the street but the service was exceptional.
I made reservations for 8 o'clock at STK for Saturday night and was not seated until 8:30 the hostess was really making it a terrible experience for me to the point I was just ready to leave. I am not from NY but I have heard many things about the restaurant so I thought it was a must try! If it was not for Michael the manager, his hospitality and generosity after my inconvenience and William with his higher than life spirit and energy this dinner would have been ruined for me! Michael and William you guys are awesome!!!! I will be back soon just for those two.
Came here for my anniversary. It was such a nice and fancy restaurant. Everything from the food and the service was great. But be ready to spend money because it is pricey. This is definitely a restaurant to go to for a special occasion.
Food was amazing, sitting was comfortable. Our waiter William was super nice, on point with everything the entire night. If you go ask for William, your night will be perfect.

Very poor experience. We don’t even entered the Rooftop. We made a reservation for a special occasion (some friends that are leaving the city), but it wasn’t honored. Arriving there we were informed that the place was full and we would be accommodated on tables at the street. It was a complete frustration, then we decided to leave and go to another place, more respectful to the customers.
I made a reservation a week in advance for a friends birthday and called day of to confirm our table on the roof. The hostess denied my reservation on the roof and made us wait 25 minutes to be seated in a GUTTER- there were rats running around under tables during our meal. Bad service and repulsive ambiance.
The NY strip steak was excellent with the asparagus. My friends and I Really enjoyed it. Next time would lime to experience rooftop Dining.
