Stella Barra Pizzeria & Wine Bar
Food and wine are both great. Service can be slow at times, but besides that everything else is amazing.
It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t a place I would rave about. Had the margarita pizza and it was kinda bland. The service was good and it was cute in there but a little loud.
Thanks for the fun and friendly staff and great easy location ! We had a lovely meal before the movies
very cool place and the food is great, my kids enjoyed the whole experience..
On New Year’s Day they have a pajama brunch - wear your PJs and get gift cards! Yummy food and comfortable place to eat.
Pizza was mediocre.Service was atrocious. We waited forever for our check and then another long time to pay. As in 45-60 mjnutes.
Didnt recall this restaurant being so poor.
damn good pizza... little noisy though, service seemed to be trying to get rid of us.
Just an amazing place to eat, drink and hang out whether you’re with a group or by yourself. Fantastic
I had been wanting to go to their location in Venice for the longest time, and since had tix to the Pantages, going to the Hollywood location made sense. They have happy hour from 4-6pm, and I would recommend that as the prices are more reasonable. I ordered their mushroom pizza, and the taste was OFF completely. It just tasted weird (the gruyere cheese was not good), and bland. If you decide to eat at Stella Barra, stick to the more basic pizzas (such as Margherita), as the chances of screwing up is less. Don't go for the more fancy sounding ones, as they won't be as you expect. I won't be visiting again.
They changed their pizza sauce. Why mess with a working formula. Tastes like pasta sauce now. Not good.
SB has really slipped. Our usual go-to menu items were disappointing and poorly prepared. The kitchen seems to have lost it's spark and the service was awful. A side of chicken on our chopped salad was rubbery and without flavor. The tomato jam pizza sauce was bland and lacked the intensity we've had before. All in all, a disappointing meal and we may not come back.
Great location for a decent meal before or after a movie at the Arclight. Food was very good (spicy wings were great, salted chocolate chip cookie was delicious). Service was friendly but a little slow.
Love the butternut squash pizza!!!!
This is a perfectly located and well thought out restaurant next to Arclight Hollywood. Food is exactly to be expected, ambience nice. Great place to meet friends for quick and easy, not to mention well priced, food and drinks in Hollywood before or after seeing a movie.
The best place to get food before seeing a movie. They have a limited selection of food, strictly just pizza and appetizers, but they do have one vegan pizza option and a great wine selection.
My favorite local spot for delicious food, amazing service and a friendly vibe. It’s my CHEERS!
Dinner was perfect. Nice lively ambience without being too loud. Delicious chopped salad, and the butternut squash pizza was the best pizza I’ve ever had. Light and savory. Delicious! I’ll be back.
Best pizza in town. Love the GF pizza crust and the new wine glasses rock. Thx!
Needed to grab a bite before going to watch a film at the Arclight and Stella Barra was right there. I appreciated that the menu was quite extensive with many different offerings to please the table. The food was very good - we had a caesar and pizza split between the red sauce Rossa and white sauce Avocado & Arugula Pesto and it was excellent. There are so many options in regards to toppings, crust, and flexibility to mix. Highly recommend the dipping sauce trio. Then, to top it off, we had a chocolate chip cookie at the end. Super pleased. Staff excellent! Wish I had one down the street from me.
Absolutely amazing. The staff was excellent. The food was excellent. The speed of everything was excellent. 5 stars, would be 6 if I could.
Liked the spot. Solid good, service was good and vibe was great. Like the wall decor, lighting and playlist. Thanks again!
The service was superb!!! The visit was top notch.
Really good pizza, fresh ingredients. We really enjoyed it
Great spot for groups! We had a great time, the food was yummy and the staff was really nice.
It was good food, but a little too expensive for my taste.
We really enjoyed our meal here. On a Friday night and it was crowded. With a reservation we were seated promptly. Great to have parking available at the Arclight parking garage. Food was very good. We really liked the calamari appetizer. The butternut squash pizza was excellent. And the kale Caesar was fine, although not terribly distinctive. And one of their excellent home-baked cookies for desert. We felt the portions were a little small-ish for the prices. Particularly the calamari. For $16, I'd like to see a small mountain of squids. But the pizza was truly delicious, service solid, and we had a good time on a Friday evening.
Food did not come out at the same time. Was told when ordering that Pizza may take up to 1/2 hr so ordered an appetizer of Crispy Brussels Sprouts and my companion ordered the Special Crispy Artichoke Hearts. As this was all we ordered and we ordered each as our dish, felt it was really poor to have the Artichoke hearts come out then 10 minutes later, the Brussels Sprouts. Waiter was unpleasant when we asked why they weren't together saying he had told us they would not come out together, which he did not. Won't be back.
Amazing pizza and stellar service!
Food was decent, but nothing great. What was awesome was the deal for happy hour, house red (Pinot), meatball, and thin crust pizza we're amazing values. If day only go for happy hour, otherwise try something deferent for a less generic pizza experience!
This was the first time for us at Stella Barra Pizzeria. I had the Thin Crust 4 Cheese Pizza and it was fantastic! The thinnest perfectly baked Pizza Crust that I've ever had. The other people with me also loved their Pizzas. The waitress was awesome. We'll definitely be back!
Every bite of food was delicious!
We ordered the margarita pizza which was good, but it didn’t have enough cheese on top. Some slices had no cheese. The spicy salumi and burrata pizza was delicious. I didn’t enjoy the cookies, it was way too chewy and had no crunch to it. Service was not that good, it was really hard to get our servers attention and it took a while to get menus/ our order taken. Not sure if I will return.
Really enjoy the food and atmosphere. However, it is getting more expansive each time I go. 3 of us had dinner a total of 2 personalized Pizza’s , 1 appetizer -consisting of 3 meatballs - and 3 glasses of wine - cheapest — Total bill prior to a top was $107.00
Just seems a lot.
Even though it was a v busy Fri nite, Got us seated right away. Thx OT! Service was fast and funny. Great chopped Ital salad, crispy calamari and delicious Hobbs Pepperoni pizza. All high- quality and yum. Now that Pizza Romana has closed, Stella Barr’s wears the best pizza in LA crown!
Excellent eatery, great food, great setting, plenty of Parking. Overall, Stella Barra Pizzeria Hollywood is one of my top 10 restaurants! There is something for everyone...and during my last visit I ordered dessert which was not only unique, but absolutely outstanding!! Because what restaurant offers Homemade Cookies as Dessert? That reason in itself is worth a visit to Stella Barra!! The Cookies are large (enough for 2 adults to share), yummy and uniquely prepared!! But that's not all.. The Brussels Sprouts are beyond delicious, Pizza's thin, Flat Crust with a mouth watering variety to choose from plus Healthy, Tasty salads..Oh, and the Burrata, Wow! Just go, you will see :)
Food and service always fantastic! Brussels Sprouts Baby! Fantastic Pizzas, wings and salads. Save room for the best cookies in LA! Just way too loud! Acoustics suck, music volume is just too high.
Always consistently great.
I’m always happy with my experiences here
