Booking was easy.
Staff was fantastic.
Food was overall average, steak was grey and chewy despite ordered medium. Not what you want in a steakhouse. Sides were nice though.
Staff were good. Ribeye was OK. Had better elsewhere but was OK. Overall a bit pricey for what we had but all good.
Dined alone, having 2 restaurants ourselves I normally do not write reviews. But the service and food were outstanding.
Food and service generally good. Room was a little cramped and noisy. Background music to loud.
The steak was badly done & hard. Not befitting to the price paid. Won’t come again.
Food is great as always, however the experience was somewhat diminished by overly load intoxicated patrons who were continuously served alcohol although clearly drunk, load and noticeably bothering my girlfriend, myself and neighboring patrons.
I hope you practice better RSA guidelines in the future
The service was excellent. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff and a solid drinks menu. We made the mistake of going for the lower cost steaks. I would recommend trying for the more costly options as that is where (I think) you will notice the difference for the price.
Steak was ordered medium but probably came out as medium well. Dessert was exquisite
Food was okay, but not exceptional. Cheaper at Notting Hill steak house which has better food. Pork crackling wasn’t really cracking, it was like a pawn cracker from a Chinese Restaurant. Overall $250 for two people was way overs, it was only worth half that

Really overpriced. Paying top dollar and getting average cooked steak and below average table service. I regularly eat at squires loft and meat and wine co - they are miles above the ministry.
We have been before and this time decided to get the tommer hawk steak and share between the four of us, as suggested.
There was not 1.2kg of meat on it and I feel we were misled as the weight clearly included the bone.
The head waitress was extremely rude and made us feel that we were a hassle, not great customer service.
The food was amazing, but rge cocktails were absolutely amazing and i loved the ambience and decor. Highly recommended for a special occasion
Excellent quality food and presentation of meals. Will return purely based on the food. Wait staff not exactly friendly and had to be reminded to bring drinks and cutlery that we had directly asked them for.
Had a lovely time. Customer service was beyond excellent, & waitresses were always attentive & on the ball. Bonus points for bubbly personality & warm, welcoming friendliness all-round. Exquisite presentation, decor & dining atmosphere. A bit pricey but this place is designed for a top-notch premium dining experience so you’re definitely guaranteed to get above & beyond what you’re paying for. Food presentation is absolutely stellar & the steaks are mouth-wateringly delicious, seared & grilled to perfection. A bit on the noisy side personally but this is a popular place & the noise is from people genuinely having a good time in a very vibrant atmosphere. If you’ve got a special occasion to celebrate (which I did) & want to do so in lavish style then I can’t think of a better steak place in the south eastern suburbs to go to.
All good, really tender & well cooked meat. There were many healthy accompaniments to add to your meal. Nice wine selection It reminded me of the restaurants we went to in Argentina. Pricy but well worth a visit.
To begin with, waiter was very pushy with his advice and suggestion, and wasn’t very open into hearing what we were after.
He had also gotten one of our meals wrong and wasn’t very apologetic.
He then proceeded to say “did you want me to change it, or you okay with this?” as if he was looking for a quick fix to the issue.
I am aware that we were charged for the meal (wrong order) opposed to the original meal (as it was cheaper), but an apology would’ve been nice.
Food itself was very average, have had better steak elsewhere for similar price. Quite disappointed, as this restaurant is a steak house.

The food was amazing. It is a bit expensive but taking everything into consideration I we were happy to pay for a great dining experience.
Steaks overcooked. Steaks too thin - makes it hard to be charred on outside and medium rare inside. Very expensive in respect of what you get. Stick to Coles Finest at home - then you can drink much better wine at a decent price.

I think this was my third lunch here and I fortunately it was quite an underwhelming experience.
We bought the premium cuts, good wines etc but the service didn’t match up.
A great night was had by all - our international guests enjoyed the friendly service and the atmosphere.
Amazing food but you are paying top dollar so you would expect the food to knock you out, which it does.
The board of steaks was a treat! There’s something about being able to select your own cut of meat that is empowering and fun. It a journey not a fast food hall. Big difference! Awesome ambiance!
The table service was very slow, especially for drinks when we first arrived. It took 3 attempts to get all 4 of us served with drinks which took nearly 20 mins. Overall table service was average at best, staff seemed disinterested and bored. Meals were average for the price. It was our second time here but we won't be returning. Much better experiences to be had elsewhere.

Great steak, great service. We had the Wagyu strip loin, perfectly cooked, and never looked back! It was expensive, but worth every cent for a special meal.
Was disappointed with the food. I felt like I couldn’t made the same meal and my steak would’ve tasted the same.
We ordered seasonal vegetables and got cold broccoli. The table next to me orders the same thing and got broccoli, cauliflower, beetroot and carrot... don’t know why we only got one vegetable, and cold.
Great family meal. Friendly efficient service from some enthusiastic staff. Great wine list and all the meat was fantastic.

When I pay that much for 200gr of a steak I don't want 50gr of tissue in my piece. I had to cut out 5 big pieces of my steak because it wasn't chewable.

For such a pretentious restaurant from the outside, I can say that my colleagues and I were severely disappointed with the service and food we received here. Despite the idea that having waiting staff working sections, they seem to be utterly adverse to serve anyone not set in their section. As a result of this we had to wait at least 15 minutes to get anyone to notice we were ready to order.
When the drinks eventually came, the waitress then proceeded to remove our bottle of wine from the table- causing further delay to us anytime we wanted a glass of the wine we had ordered.
We ordered two fillet steaks, with accompanying sauces (if that's what you can call it- my description would have been brown flavored water) and two salads. My colleague ordered the cauliflower salad, so imagine his surprise when coleslaw turned up! The steak was cooked well, but unfortunately, everything else in between was mediocre and disappointing.
One of my colleagues ordered the vegetable tart, what came out could only be described as a communion wafer topped with ice cream. It should be listed under the starters/entrees because the fact that you call that a main course is disgraceful. The child's portion size, and lack of substance meant that we had to consider the possibility of ordering an extra dish.
On the whole, if you're going to charge the prices you do- it would be remiss of your customers to not expect value for money. This was certainly not the case, please refer to above feeling of disappointment. The service was terrible, although the waitresses temperament was polite it was neither focused nor caring. The fact that she was responsible for a large section meant that none of the people sitting in her section actually got her dedicated service.
It was so good we went back night 2 for dinner. The meals were delicious and the staff were great. The only suggestion would be allow split table to order off the special menu or advise at the beginning of the evening prior to ordering
