St Andrews Beach Brewery
Here at St Andrews Beach Brewery we like to keep things simple and uncomplicated— the way life ought to be. Our property is pretty spectacular; people say “there’s nothing else like it”.
Our brewery calls the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria home. Set on a 92-acre property which was once home to one of Australia’s premier horse training facilities and proudly boasts a 1,200m grass racing track (now an exceptionally large fruit and vegetable patch!)
We have blended old with new and nature with engineering— combinations that you just can’t find in the city. Here our air is clean, our grass a little greener (that's how we like to see it anyway). Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to grow our own hops, let the chickens roam free and spend our days crafting and pouring great brews right from our stable doors.
Excellent relaxed venue, casual food and attentive service
Great experience had by all..
We had lunch and the meals were taking a little bit longer then expected..
The waitress came over and said the meals where 5 minutes away and gave us a round of drinks on the house..
Great service, fantastic venue..
Love having this place just up the road from us. Always have a great day when we visit. 😊
A great place though my only crit could be the slightly slow Seville at the beginning when it's table service . How about some sort of buzzer system when you want to order drinks or for from a "stable" to call the staff? Just an idea. Otherwise very good.
All great but pizzas came quicker than the other meals and the beers for tastings were a let down. Ex Freeman Stable private dining room areas are a great idea, very private for group bookings. Yellowfin tuna with capers and rocket orecchiette a stand out!
We had a great day celebrating my husband's 40th. The service is always amazing and we loved the food!
We enjoyed celebrating a 60th birthday in one of the stables. Food was great and table service attendant very friendly and welcoming. Recommend the sweet potato fries and hamburgers delicious. Venue easy to find.
This was the 2nd time we have been to have lunch . The 1st time was in the bar and this time we booked a booth or stable . I can highly recommend the experience . The one on one service provided for our table was excellent and we were never waiting for a top up of drinks or to wait for our meals .I think if you had a gathering of between 6 and 20 people booking 1-3 stable booths would be perfect . I love a punt and if the races were on the screens in the booths it would be perfect place to watch the quaddie legs of a race meeting with friends and have a meal and a few ales while watching . I urge every one to go and see for them selves it is a real winner . Make sure you book if you want a booth as they are very popular .
Very nice for family lunch. Child friendly. Casual
Fabulous use of an old racehorse training complex. Can eat outside or book an old stable , which has s racehorse name on it. Food lovely, staff great
I celebrated my 40th birthday lunch in one of your stables (Doriemus) on Sunday 13th Jan and I was thrilled with the food and service. Your venue is amazing and your staff are a credit to you. Everyone that came was incredibly impressed and we will all be back very soon!
Great for family and friends, good food and wine. We had a stable which was fun.
We absolutely loved our afternoon at St Andrew’s Beach Brewety. It was delicious, fun and relaxed. Can’t wait to go back.
Not what I expected compared to what was seen on Post Cards. We asked the waiter For some ice, he then asked if there was anything else because it was a long walk. We then happened to pass by the conversation that the staff was giving to him and then he advised he is not usain bolt! Won’t give his name but was disappointing as we drove from Melbourne for my wife’s Birthday on the 8th of Jan. +18 guests.
Was not offered even a glass of wine! Lucky to get this rating . Food was good
We had a fun late afternoon here. Great venue, friendly staff, nice food. Glad we booked, very busy.
We have been previously for lunch and we have a future booking for lunch. Our reservation was for 4.45pm and we assumed from the website it was for three hours. Very disappointed when told the bar was closing at 6.30ish and at exactly 7pm we had the bouncer clapping his hands at us telling us to leave, particularly as we had our elderly parents with us who were only 1/4 through their drink. We will come again for lunch but for dinner bookings you should inform us of the time limits (less than three hours). Waitress and serving staff were great but security was a disgrace with no people skills.
Fabulous venu. Great vibe, great beer, great food! Highly recommend for a group booking. Fun afternoon out.
I booked a Table in one of the old stables on Sunday 6th January. I was extremely pleased with the quick and efficient service. The bloke who was predominantly looking after us was fantastic and made our time at the Brewery really enjoyable.
First time at the brewery and we all loved it. Booked a stable weeks ago for my hubbys birthday and it was perfect for young and old
Attentive service, good food and good value for money
Fantastic venue even on a 43 degree day. Great beer and drinks and Lauren really looked after us.
The perfect place to catch up with friends, and especially accommodating for children & large groups with the booking of a stall. I had heard great things about this place, and it did not disappoint. We will be back!
Went last year. Couldn’t wait to come back this year. Unfortunately I have to wait another 12 months to come back..
Dont want to praise it too much as everyone will want to go there.
It ticks all my boxes. Impressive property, good value, great choice of food to please all, and good for Gluten Free people.
Great venue but the vibe was just not there.
Music in background however some live music would be so much better.
Booked a stall and was supposed to get table service for food but no one came. We had to go and find them.
When food was served the waiter was not a very happy chappy.
Could be so much better.
Great atmosphere, but felt the menu lacked something. And the 2 thing I wanted , chicken wings and ceviche was unavailable! What the?
Pity you had quite a few items unavailable on the menu. Lady serving us was not a happy person
We have thoroughly enjoyed each of our 3 visits - wine list is limited but as it is a brewery beer is excellent - and their cider is great
Nice spot to enjoy a casual lunch, starters and mains all came out all at once which was a little disappointing, felt a bit rushed instead of being a relaxing afternoon.
Fantastic location, beer and food ... Very well laid out use of former stables and the beers are excellent.
The service was amazing. Tom was great at looking after us & food arrived really quickly. Boys happy with the beers 🍺
Staff were very friendly.
Very good.for value craft beers good price and all around an amazing environment.
Had there be some entertainment maybe an acoustic act would just be the cherry on top but all around amazing venue
A unique place in Rye......I liked it because it is casual.....easy to get to. Very enjoyable.
Been there plenty of times - great spot for casual dining and drinks - kid friendly ........lots of fun and love the local produce!!
Had heard lots about this venue & how amazing it was. We attended as a small work xmas function & booked a stable.
Absolutely loved the place, loved the outdoor setting for drinks & food & the novelty of the stables.
Found the venue very noisy... there was live music, but found conversation impossible unless siting next to the person!
The service was quite poor, constantly had to get up & find someone to place our orders
I found the sitting 4-7 a bit short ( didn’t realise that the kitchen shut at 6 pm & venue closed at 7pm. Felt we could have had some extra time to finish drinks .. so maybe consider to stop bar at 7 & maybe out by 7.30. ( however your license prob doesn’t cover this)
Had some issues with food quality from members of our group but I personally was happy with food you offered & it was reasonably priced.
Your venue is fabulous... there were lots of young people with very young families!!! Obviously a change in the times & I gather you promote family friendly atmosphere!! As an above 50’s age group this I found a bit annoying having toddlers running around with toys but maybe I’m just getting old!
Will certainly return & just utilise outdoor area& not bother with booking stables next time.
We had a great time, unfortunately the bottom of a glass fell out , almost full of beer , and went all over my husband.
He received a t shirt eventually but we had to ask for the mess to be cleaned up.
It was obviously acknowledged but he didn’t receive an apology, little disappointed with that.
Very easy and comfortable environment.
Food was great !
Such a unique brewery & dining experience.
It is another gem on the Mornington Peninsula that makes any day visit so worthwhile.
As I am Fructose Intolerant the staff were well trained in dealing with my situation, which I might add is rare. So from this point of view I was most impressed. The food was very nice, service excellent & a very pleasant experience - we brought overseas visitors to enjoy the unique experience of dining at St.Andrews & were not disappointed. We have dined with you before and would not hesitate to come again.
We went with a group of friends and dined in the Makybe Diva stable. We loved the atmosphere staff beer & food. A good time had by all
