Tasty food and great views!
An excellent experience which was a fabulous way to showcase my city for an interstate guest - I'll be recommending this venue to anyone who wants to listen
No review. No review
Went for a birthday celebration. The views are great as promised. The menu is a focus on meat - and the steaks were the highlight for us. The pork crackling was great albeit plenty salty. The portions are generous - we shared two mains and were filled. The wine list was far better than expected - plenty of value choices - though excellent for those who prefer beer. Tables a bit close together but as expected for a place with this view.
Beautiful setting, I met friends here who were visiting from Ireland. It was perfect.. definitely had that wow factor. Delicious food looking out over the Sydney opera house.
Excellent venue, our new favourite place to go in Sydney. Views are amazing. Really love this place!
My children invited me and my wife on fathers day. The food was excellent from entrée to dessert. Not cheap but worth it. Great views of Sydney too unless a ship is in port,
Great environment and awesome food, great value for the money you pay, great experience. ;)
I made a reservation for my third anniversary, on the reservation which I made with two weeks in advance I specified to have a table with a nice view due to the occasion. They seated us at a table that it had bad views, and I asked the manager if he could be able to seat inside where it had better views and he denied it. I understood that it might be because someone made a reservation. However, I finish dinner and still tables available with the nice views. The menu was short on diversity of food, I could say that the bar below the restaurant has better food than the actual restaurant. Desert really poor. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. Maybe the bar under.
Foods were great (we had the Calamari, Halloumi, Half Chicken, and the 400g Rump steak), as well as the staff. They are very friendly and attentive to the customers' needs.
The place has a nice view of the harbor bridge and Opera House (though when we went there, a cruise ship was docked in the harbor, which blocked the view of the Opera House).
Overall, it was a great dinning experience and will definitely come back to this place.
Had a wonderful experience on Sunday night. Food was delicious & the beer selection magnificent. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
Will go back.
Had the most enjoyable evening with friends for our wedding anniversary. Table in the round room part of the restaurant, couldn’t have wished for better views. Amanda our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and made us feel very welcome.
Enjoyed it so much we came back the following day for lunch on the balcony and will definitely visit again for breakfast when next staying in the city.
Less choices for dining menu
But service was exellent
Amazing food, amazing views and superb costumer service.
View was just amazing and the staff were just lovely ! Food was fantastic couldn't ask for more !
It’s a pub. Squeezing the punters in. Expensive tourist food.
Service was bad. Started out good with taking our drinks and food order but we were ignored from that point on. Had to go and find a waitress for extra drinks, desert and to pay the bill. View was awesome. Food was awesome but the service was bad. Unfortunately it is the bad service that I will tell everyone about.
Fantastic venue with spectacular views. My new "go to" for entertaining friends or clients from out of town.
What a view!!
I will definitely visot here again.
This was one of my fave places to visit in Sydney. Will definitely be back next time I’m interstate. Best view in the city!!!! Great beer!!!! Excellent environment!!!
My partner and I and our newborn felt very welcome. Food was amazing as well as service
Great food, awesome location, lovely waitstaff! Had a good time.
We booked for a birthday celebration. We had a lovely table by the window and a lovely view of the Opera house. Out of the 5 of us 3 of us really enjoyed our meals, the two who didn’t ordered the pork roast(one had the 250g the other had the 500g) and they were disappointed with their meals describing the pork as rather dry. The waitstaff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They recommended a small batch beer that was really enjoyable and helped assist with picking dishes from the menu. Overall we had a lovely evening aside from the dry pork, would definitely go back again.
Came here for my mother's 86th birthday family celebration and was absolutely wonderful. We sat at a round table in the tower room with a 180 degree view of the Opera House around to the Harbour Bridge - just spectacular. Harry our main waiter was incredible - he was polite, respectful but able to banter with my elderly mum and made her day! If there is an employee of the month award please award it to Harry as he was amazing. Thank you so very much for making this occasion so special for us.
Our table gave us a wonderful view of the Opera House. The service was excellent, as was the food and drink choices.
I cannot fault this restaurant and this was my second visit. The only downside was that we were a group of 4 next to a very large & noisy birthday party. Overall, the noise didn't spoil our evening.
Service was average- had to seek out server most of the time. Food was below average and expensive. Lamb was supposed to be slow cooked for 4 hours but it was fatty and chewy. The view is sensational but that's where it ends. Bar food looks better than restaurant food. Great place for a casual drink but not for a special occasion dinner.
Great service from booking to table service. Some dishes and beers were missing which was disappointing. Fair price but the steak was a bit overpriced. Overall the food was good and the experience amazing. Thanks to the Squire’s Landing team.
Loved everything about the night, amazing food and great cocktails with great views. Staff were so friendly and attentive and made the night more enjoyable.
We went to squires landing for a special occasion and the staff were fabulous. The view, the service and the quality of food and drink was exceptional, and all for a reasonable price. Cant get a better view or beer anywhere else. Well done Squires, highly recommended.
The fish was good but unfortunately my steak which was supposed to be tender and ordered for medium-rare was very burnt (and tasted charred) on the outside and medium-well instead so it was quite tough.
Nevertheless, the service and views were excellent. Will certainly revisit again in future but will probably avoid the aged beef steak.
We had a great time for my partner's birthday. My only suggestion would be having a few more vegetarian friendly options.
the position is fantastic cant get any better , food was good & i think the menu has something for everyone.
The availability of an excellent, casual, brewpub in a location with this level of pizazz is really great. We went to the upstairs brewpub portion of the restaurant. They have a nice set of craft beers available. The food we tried, including a special of the day barramundi and some wild boar and kangaroo sausages were very good. The waitstaff was excellent. The view of the opera house is literally world class. We were very glad we found this place!
We booked a table of 8 for a special occasion family birthday lunch, having visited twice previously for test runs & agree it was a fit for our event. The view (no ships in winter) from anywhere in the restaurant is exceptional & Sydney postcard perfect but to be seated in the circular glass northern end added to an already great ambience. Bar service was courteous, efficient, knowledgeable (particularly re beers but also wines) & consistent throughout. We ordered a variety of entrée's with the highlight being the pork belly but a nod also to the calamari. We skipped the duck having previously considered the quantity of duck very lean for the price. Mains were a mix of steaks, fish of the day (barramundi), fish & chips, barramundi burger & the whole half chicken. All of our group were very happy with the quantity & quality. Steak prices are at the premium end & warrant perfection. Having tried most, the 300g Flat Iron steak ($39-00) is considered best value. Overall we were very happy to have selected this venue & would happily recommend for celebrations but it offers something for everyone. Special thanks to our main waiter, Harry.
Really great location with views of Opera House and Harbour Brudge. Service was great and food too
We had our work's EOFY dinner here with a group of 6 people and we were given an amazing table. The food and drinks were outstanding and the general feeling of the restaurant was lovely. The staff seemed very new and did drop things. The service was lacking but all the necessaries were met like table water, remembering who ordered what and general politeness. The small details were missed with getting side plates ready for shared starters, no cheese knife, dropping things, coming to the table too earlier to get orders. I think is mainly due to the place being new and the staff still being trained.
Very good service. Nice beer and food. Helpful waiters.
Brilliant location and outstanding view. Our waiter Harry was exceptional. The food was ridiculously delicious. We are from Sydney and dine out often and hands down one of the best dinner experiences. Thanks again to Harry.
Poor service, food poor, the plate i was given was a salad plate which was unstable to eat from, cutlery poor so couldn't eat the food from, when asked for better cutlery was given a steak knife to eat crab salad with, staff unattentive, when I explained the issue with the unstable plate, the staff ignored me. Tried to eat the corn cob with supplied utensils and covered myself and ruined my suit with the corn / quinoa. Dust was blowing in from the construction site outside.
