   In previous cabanas I have always had a private butler (for all of the cabanas) who’s job was to look after us while in the cabanas. I understand due to staff shortages this is not always possible however we were told that we would have someone coming around every 30mins however we had to order at the back of the Splash Bar for the first 2hrs we were there as we didn’t get into the water. After that we were in the pool so it was fine. Service from the bar staff was lacklustre to say the least. They were extremely slow in making drinks, didn’t make them in front of us even though the bar should be set up to do so. They would be very brash with us when we ordered, it wasn’t a very busy day yet we were still waiting up to 10mins for them to ask us what we wanted. I was told they were unable to make anything not on the menu even though I could see the ingredients (3 ingredient drink) and it was a simple drink which I have never had denied in previous pool bars or regular bars while a customer or while bartending. The jugs are a waste of money - we couldn’t see what they were filling them with and so had no idea how strong (or weak) they were being made - understanding they should be filled with the correct amount of shots which we could not see them pouring. Service was all over the place from 2-5pm. The last hour they became slightly nicer. They made up our cake for us and helped prepare it, took photos and were nice. There was also inconsistency in drink making. One bartender wouldn’t try at all or make something wrong saying the ingredients weren’t available however the next bartender would make it correct 30mins later when asked. They took offence when questioned about drinks and how they were made, blaming us for saying yes to the changes when they just made a different drink to what was requested rather than just changing one ingredient. Overall, I do not think I will be coming back to the Splash bar -especially the cabanas.

   Great venue, poor service. not a single empty glass was picked up off our table in 4 hours. Bar supervisor walked passed, looked at the empties, smiled and kept walking a few times….weird. We had a great day all the same.

   A VERY CONFUSING BOOKING PROCESS TO BE HONEST. Firstly, The booking system led me to believe I had paid for the booking prior to arriving, and then to have the staff question my payment twice, was really abrupt and confusing. I had then had to go to my net baking in order to find where I thought the payment had come out. Also, I had wanted to book the cabana for two people, but it charged me twice, not just once for the one booking. I had to phone the reception to clarify what I had actually booked for.

   I went to Splash Bar with friends for my birthday and we each paid for the pool pass. This set up is a great idea and I found it to be good value with money redeemable on food and drinks. The atmosphere was lovely, music wasnt too loud. It did seem slightly understaffed as we often had to wait a while at the bar for drinks, but this could have just been a one off as it was quite busy when we went on a Friday. I would perhaps go Mon-Thurs next time as it is not supposed to be as busy. The food was amazing and came out very quickly. Overall, I had a great time and absolutely will be back!

    Well priced entry and menu items, pool is great. My only criticism would be that there is only one toilet with a broken lock in the pool area. Overall we had a great experience! Thanks.

    Great day in the cabana. Nice cheese platter and drinks. Was great day really hot by the pool. Just a shame with clearing bottles and cups and pizza weren't actually ordered when we ordered them but overall a great day!

    We always have the best time at the Splash Bar. Perfect for a girls afternoon in summer with drinks and nibbles in the pool. Will be back soon.

    We got there, nothing was open & it took 30 minutes for 2 cocktails. Wasn’t that busy and staff were slowly moving around not attending to services on either side of the bar. Went to the cabana after being told someone would come and open them, took another 10 minutes for a staff member to come over. Staff didn’t know how to open up the doors, we ended up doing it ourselves. After being there we were told both the speakers in the cabana and around the pool area were not working. Went to grab more drinks, and throughout the afternoon the staff at the bar were slow with service as well as making the drinks. Bit of a let down after hyping the place up.

    Bit busy at times with only one person working the splash bar. That would be my only downfall. Other than that it was a great day :)

    Great venue, plenty of beds spaced around although everyone huddled up near the cabanas. Will go again in warmer climate as pool was cold.

    It was a fantastic experience. Was very quiet whilst we were there. The staff were attentive. Surroundings are beautiful. Only recommendation would be additional bathroom in the pool area.

    Extremely beautiful venue. Splash bar is so much fun. Staff at bar should ask if you're guests of the hotel before charging you for a public entry fee as I was a guest of the Ville and was charged, however they compensated after I enquired as I was a bit confused as I'd never been a guest or been to splash bar before. I also booked a table and no table was reserved. Experience was so much fun apart from details mentioned. Can't wait to come back!

    Great atmosphere/- food was amazing...oysters were just a little gritty..I imagine from bits of shell from opening the hundreds needed fr a fri night/- but the value for money was exceptional!/- worth the drive & left my husband wanting more/- left with a Food Coma!

    I was quite disappointed with my experience at aqua on sunday morning. The food did not seem to be refreshed regularly and tasted a bit old and the bacon was tasteless and tough like beef jerkey. I was however appreciative of how accommodating the staff were to give me a discount due to a medical reason. Although i do not believe it is worth the $25 for a full paying adult.

    We go regularly on a Saturday night for the Seafood. It is delicious. The oysters and prawns are the freshest and juiciest in town. The mains are ok but can, at times, be a bit dry, and the desserts are delicious and there is quite a variety to choose from.

    Setup was very ordinary, dessert bar should be seperate to prevent waiting in line for dinner menu. The bar service was extremely slow and only one person serving on a friday night.

    After coming to Aqua for many years, I have to say I was disappointed this time. The variety of foodwas minimal and the food just wasnt enjoyable. I have always looked forward to the deserts but even they were a big let down, almost tasted like everything came from a packet. Can not say that I woll be returning anytime soon.

    I love what I ate however, I found the seafood selection to be quite limited for a 'seafood spectacular'. I have attended these in the past and I must say- there was a lack of variety for main meals.

    I dont beleive it is any different from a week day. Price is way too high and certainly not a seafood spectacular. We were told there were more desserts and a bit more seafood. Not enough for a spectacular and not worth the price. Surely the chefs can do better bugs, calamari not fried from a packet and dishes such as seafood chowder etc. Boring prawns on ice.
