Fabulous homemade pasta. Great ambiance and service.
Nice neighborhood go-to place - excellent food, friendly and attentive service. I broke my wine glass and they efficiently cleaned it up and could not have been nicer.
Wonderful place to have a great dinner. All of the meals were delicious and the ambience is great for a nice date or get together with friends. Highly recommend and we will be there again.
Get sage pasta, not sure how something so simple can be so amazing. Only negative was tiramisu was a bit bland: a solid B- to everything else was A+
The place needs a little updating. We ordered the Proscuitto di Parma with melons to start. There were only 4 slices of melon to go with a huge plate of Proscuitto. We ordered the egg pasta with butter and sage and the egg pasta with pork and beef ragu to share. The pasta with ragu had way too much meat which overpowered the fine pasta. The pasta was also kind of gummy. It was just not to our liking but the place was packed on a Sunday night, so they are doing something right. The service was excellent though.
We have eaten here many times. Always exceptional Italian cuisine, and small but intense wine list.
The taste of the food makes my mouth water thinking about it, and the customer service was outstanding! The Tajarin al ragu and chocolate cake are to die for! Oh and the fried zucchini blossoms too!
Unbelievable food and great service!
Love the cozy European feel. Food delicious. Service was good. Go on an empty stomach the food is good and filling.
We LOVE Spinasse! The fresh tomatoes with a little salt flaked over the top were divine! We have always had a fantastic dinner and experience dining here!
Based on the reviews and Food Network write up I had high expectations, but ultimately came away disappointed. Our server recommended one of their more popular pasta dishes (Egg noodles with pork/beef ragu), and I thought it was just ok - on the salty side for my taste and I've made better myself. Also was disappointed about lack of Gluten free options on the menu that night. It was basically 2 of the appetizers and the risoto. I had seen options from an older menu that had much more and thus why I decided to take my wife to Spinasse. The best part of our meal was two of the four appetizers (prosciutto and the waldorf-like salad) on the sampler plate that night.
Great server, great food
Hands down, the best pasta I’ve ever had and amazing service as well. I would highly recommend the cavatelli and the tiramisu!
Great ambiance, very attentive waiter, food was timely and as expected it was delicious. We had the Cavatelli al ragù and the pasta was so perfectly cooked and the balance of the sauce between sweet and salty was unbelievable. We also had the Maiale al latte, which had the most delicious sauce ever, but the Cavatelli was much more exciting for sure.
Food just wasn't very good.
Spinnase is incredible! If you are a looking for a special place to celebrate please go to Spinnase.
Tajarin still delicious but maybe had more butter compared to our previous visit
Loved it! Food and service was memorable. Suggestion: although the chairs are quaint and rustic, they are not comfortable.
Love this place! Never disappoints. Luis was fantastic.
We will definitely go back! Friendly service and great food!
Really enjoyed this quaint restaurant. The pasta (homemade) was out of this world, according to our teenage son. In addition, we really enjoyed the beef short rib entrée as well as the rabbit meatballs. Definitely secure a reservation, you too will enjoy a grand evening of fine food!
This was an amazing meal and experience. The only complaint was the restaurant got really hot because the kitchen is open to the dining room. Some fans would be nice!
This is my favourite Seattle restaurant. The casual neighbourhood atmosphere belies the detailed attention to the attentive service and superb food. The wine list is not huge, but really inspired. It’s focus is on the wines of Piedmont, with offerings from some of the top producers in the region. Always a great experience and highly recommended!
Best restaurant in Seattle. Their tasting menu is incredible!
Faithful fan of Spinasse for years. Thank you for always making my friends, family and myself feel well taken care of. Love the Tajarin al Ragu but enjoy the thoughtfully curated menu and wine list!
We had dinner on 8/14. Both of us had the tajarin in sage butter but the pasta was very much overcooked, and very salty. Tajarin is delicate and hard to get it just right. It maybe an off night. Spinasse is known for their pasta so I hope they will pay attention to do it right. Also, we have salty taste but on the 14th, everything was oversalt, from the english pea salad to the pasta and the kale sautéed in garlic.
The pastas were great. We ordered the butter/sage and ragu. The only thing I would change is the pasta type, I love thicker pasta for my dishes. Other than that, it a nice spot to get some good authentic Italian dishes. Oh and the zucchini flowers are aaaaamazing!
Everything about our experience was spectacular. The service was kind, informative, friendly and efficient. The food was much better than I had expected, and we felt that for the stellar quality, the prices were on the low side. The ambience was very comfortable and the surrounding neighborhood was very hip! BRAVO!
Spinasse is the best restaurant in Seattle. So consistently, amazingly delicious every time. OMG the butter sage pasta......
Amazing! Some of the best Italian inspired dishes I've ever had. We'll be back.
The butter and sage pasta is fantastic!
The menu is fairly limited. Our wait person did not know how to smile. I feel Spinasse is overrated.
This time we had a risotto dish, which was a first for our many visits to Spinasse, and it was so stellar we have taken another restaurant off of our list entirely. Much of our fine dining is centering around Spinasse now because it is unbeatable on a lot of vectors.
The food and service was wonderful. Would have preferred not sitting right next to door. Dessert wasn’t anything special. Dinner was very good
Overall we were disappointed. Your place came highly recommended and we felt for the cost the portions were small and flavors underwhelming. Our server was great though . She was the highlight of the evening.
It was our treat dinner for our 30th wedding anniversary and it didn’t live up to the hype.
It was my second time in in here, and everything was excellent once more. This place stays up there on my list of Seattle favorites.
A Nice place with great service. Food was good but can’t compare to NYC nor Charlotte. The hyp is overstated and I can’t understand the difficulty in getting a reservation.
FOOD AND SERVICE WERE BOTH EXCELLENT - WE JUST ASKED THE SERVER TO BRING US WHAT HE THOUGHT WS GOOD - FANTASTIC MEAL - ONLY ISSUE WAS SITTING OUTSIDE RIGHT NEXT TO THE STREET - LOUD!
