Bought my daughter and her boyfriend for a birthday dinner. We had 7 course degustation and wine match. The food was absolutely beautiful and the wait staff were amazing explaining every meal and wine in great detail. We will be back :) .

Would highly recommend for a special occasion! We had the banquet for 5 and all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was such a fantastic variety of dishes and such great portion sizes. It was so good to try dishes that we might not have otherwise tried! The birthday candles 🕯 and voucher were such a great touch. The only thing we might change is that it was very dark, but looked so great with the candles and lights

Took the wife to Spice Bar for our 20th anniversary and we were treated to a masterpiece. The combination of flavours on the plate was the perfect balance of salty and sweet with the subtlest hint of sour. Our entree was the Sichuan chicken which had just the right amount of heat and spice, a delightful start to meal. For mains we decided on the Makhani Goat Curry and the Eye fillet. The friendly staff brought out share plates so we could mix and match. The curry was thick and rich and slow cooked to perfection. It’s actually served on a plate instead of a bowl. It was very different to any curry we have ever seen, it held its shape in the centre of the plate. Very fun experience. The steak was served medium rare and looked amazing. As the waiter poured the succulent hoisin jus over the duck fat potatoes, our mouths drooled in anticipation of the harmonious fusion that awaited us. Dessert was a unique experience. A delicacy that we have both tried in many an Italian restaurant all over the world but never like this. We ordered two Green Tea Crème Brûlées and we were blown away. Cracking through the toffee revealed the bright green custard cream which you have to see to believe. The tea flavour is extremely subtle and the texture of the brûlée is sweet and thick. Topped off with a macadamia coconut crumble and trust me that combo always works. I have to mention the atmosphere too. The lighting is moody and every song they played had the funkiest bass and drum groove and really got us in the mood if you know what I mean. With the endless choices available for Asian fusion cuisine on the sunny coast Spice Bar sits at the top. Extremely highly recommended.

We had the Banquet meal and loved every dish we were served. We wish we had have requested a balcony seat. We like privacy & we were seated close to two other couples.

We had the 7 course degustation with matching wines. The service was amazing, the flavours of the meal were outstanding and matched perfectly with the wines . A 10 out of 10 experience for us

They didn’t have three things that were on the menu that we tried to order. That was the most disappointing thing about the experience. If it’s not available the restaurant should let you know before you order.
