Sparrow & Wolf
Food was extremely salty. Even the dessert was sprinkled with salt.
there was a funny smell in the restaurant , went nose blind after awhile but almost made me walk out
One of my favorite restaurants in LV. Great food, drinks, service, and a real upbeat atmosphere! Great meal...Thanks!
Had a wonderful time. Chef Anthony is amazing and was exceptional. I appreciated every single course so much. The flavors were out of this world.
The best restaurant I’ve dined at this year, no doubt. And that’s beating out Husk in Charleston. Food was innovative from wall to wall and the service was outstanding. Will be recommending this place to anyone headed out to Vegas.
Creative high quality dishes. The lambs neck was amazing. The chef/owner spent time with our table reviewing the menu as well as his favorites.
If your a foodie this is a must do
INCREDIBLE. The food was top quality and the service outstanding. I look forward to returning.
Food and service were great - VERY small portions though to split for four people. Great for two people probably.
The food was very tasty. However. We were seated at the table nearest to the door (still probably 15 feet from it, mind) and the frigid draft (it was 39 degrees outside) every time the door opened was enough to ruin the mood. I had to wear my heavy coat most of the meal. I don’t expect them to be able to change the weather, but with the decently sized waiting area they have between the waiting and dining areas, they should be able to do something.
A must-do eatery for serious foodies. The uni dish and bone marrow were world class. Lamb tartare was also stellar.
Our entire experience was absolutely amazing. The service was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was outstanding, the flavor combinations were delicious, it was truly a culinary experience.
Had the pleasure of eating at this place. Our server was very nice and efficient. The food was Awesome! From techniques to execution, Every dish had that umami factor. We ordered the Charred romesco. That was spicey yet delicious. Perhaps the sauce was too liberal and overpowered the main ingredients and maybe could use more charred to achieve that smokey effect I was imagining. The Uni Melt was a palate stopper. The crisp crêpe with burrata rolled inside and topped with uni was orgasmic. It complemented our Albariño nicely. The Osso Bucco tortellini was fine. The texture of which reminded me of Chinese dumplings. I didn’t detect much of the Osso Bucco but the potato Causa was definitely present. Our Panna cotta desert reminded me of Bali. Lemongrass and kaffir was pronounced which helped cut through the richness. Overall, the Asian influence in it’s entirety was done with creativity, knowledge and respect. The dishes here tell a story! We loved it! Like the wolf, the food here is brave and fierce. I would come back in a heartbeat.
Great off strip Restaurant, very honest food
The service was, upbeat, informative and relaxed
A must go if you are in Vegas
Absolutely phenomenal. The food was amazing, with an incredible balance of flavors and a uniqueness of combinations. The Lamb Tartare was one of the best I ever had, and the Osso Bucco ravioli was simply unforgettable. In addition, all of the wait staff was unbelievably knowledgeable on the menu, preparation, and source of all of the food items. To put it clearly, an unbelievable dining experience. I can’t wait to go back.
Amazing, the food was so innovative and the servers were knowledgeable!
Destyn was an amazing server. She was very attentive and gave great food and drink recommendations. Food was outstanding!
Awesome food, definitely a place to enjoy.
Service and prices were on point.
Wonderful service and excellent food. Great place off the strip and a reasonable price point.
Visitors to Vegas should definitely explore off-Strip restaurants, beginning with this one. The creative small plates feature first rate ingredients and preparations with bright flavors and varied textures. Craft cocktails and desserts more savory than sweet bookend your meal perfectly.
Amazing ambiance, delicious food and wonderful service! This is the third time I have dined at Sparrow & Wolf and every time has been a great experience! I would recommend this restaurant to all of my friends. Thank you John Anthony for an incredible evening!
No more beef steak tartare :(
Exceptional Service & outstanding quality food
Such a unique and creative menu! I very much enjoyed the experience. Adventuresome eating will pay off handsomely here, so it's not for picky eaters. Great cocktails too.
Amazing, innovative food. Delicious. Partner/owner, John, super informative. Chef is superb.
The services was excellent and the food was very unique and delicious. Thank you for great date night.
First off, the food was outstanding. We chose the chef’s tasting menu which consisted of 7 courses from both on and off the main menu, that the chef chooses after you order, along with the paired beverages. The server was great in making sure that we at least got to try a couple of selections from the main menu that we were interested in, so it wasn’t totally random. The sommelier also did an outstanding job of pairing each beverage and telling us a little bit about how the pairing choices were made. Food-wise, the seared foie gras served atop bone marrow, and the braised lamb neck were our favorites. 5/5 stars, we will definitely be back!
Sophisticated yet unpretentious service combined with creative shared dishes and unusual spices make this a refreshing option on the Las Vegas restaurant scene
This is officially my new fav restaurant in Las Vegas!!! The food is amazing and the service is outstanding. Must trys: Romanesco, Japanese sweet potato, and the honey toast!
Food tasted very good but oddly was on the cold side. Nothing was truly hot. Bone marrow might not have been cooked through (pretty red, seemed odd).
Two person dinner, as recommended did the sharing small plates. Ordered 8 items or so. Thought they would stagger them some, but the brought food out faster than we could possibly eat it. Since it came out 'warm' at best, this made it worse as food cooled further as we tried to eat at the pace the served us.
While the concept was small plates, some the physical plates were not small making trying to stuff 8 plates on the table at one time near impossible. A lot of time for the person bringing food out trying to figure out how to get the plates on the the table.
I thought the server had indicated they would bring the plates out in a logical order, so we were surprised when we were flooded by food. And the bread came out 4th.
WOW this place was very disappointing. I feel bad for all these high reviewers, I feel like they may have never experienced great cuisine. I realize tastes differ, but I can’t imagine they differ this greatly! Service was perfect and the restaurant was small and nice, no complaints in that category. Attentive, attractive waitress was the highlight. I hear many high praises for the cocktails here but mine was okay at best and my wives was almost undrinkable. We tried six plates. From bad to barely good, this place is a HUGE pass. We literally left angry from disappointment. Normally I would say give it a shot because tastes differ, but this was so bad I can’t this time. For the higher price it isn’t worth the gamble.
This was an excellent location for our small team building dinner while in Las Vegas. The shared apps and entrees were very artfully produced and reflected the highest quality and attention to detail. Cocktails were intriguing and well balanced, wine selections were very well curated for our dishes and desserts did not disappoint! A rare find that must be shared with others.
Stand out dishes: fresh oysters with warm shiitake mushroom vinaigrette, seared fois gras, Santa Barbara sea urchin crepe, and dry-aged porterhouse. Good cocktails. Nice cozy ambiance. It's not cheap but worth the price. Highly recommended.
Best dishes were the oysters, beet and apple crudités, hearth baked bread, Uni melt, and Japanese sweet potato
I sat at the bar, the bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on.
Glad we find this beautiful place to visit, foods are yum and with beautiful presentation. We will definitely come back and so want to try everything on the menu.
It's nice to get away from the Strip. It was a short Lyft ride (about $8). Truly a great place for foodies. We were debating about the tasting menu as the table next to us did that with the wine pairing. We had the octopus, lamb bolognese, sweet potato, foie gras, steelhead trout dip. That was plenty for the two of us!
Everything was excellent. The other table next to us had the porterhouse. They couldn't finish the whole thing. I was tempted to ask them if they wanted to sell me their leftovers but they had them to wrapped to go.
Also had a nice conversation with John, one of the partners.
This was our 2nd time eat there — a year apart. We had the tasty menu with wine pairing. Excellent!!!! We consider this meal one of the best in our lives. It was so adventurous in terms of combining known ingredients with new twists. The wine was also unique and from unexpected places.
We will be back in January.
The Sparrow and Wolf is unique and delicious dining experience.
