   Nice if you’re going for drinks or the vibe. The ribs were too salty and the egg roll was not flavorful. We were also given a cold sweet sauce to dip our egg rolls in. Charged 18% gratuity and a liquor tax so will probably not be back unless the food improves.

   The restaurant was nice, we were seated right away at our appt time. Appetizers were great we got the egg rolls. Food was hot and didn’t take long to come out. The drinks took a while to come to the table. I did feel like the drinks were a bit over priced but other than that it was fine.

   Overall, it was ok! I had the blackend salmon and soul rolls. Salmon was good, garlic mash potatoes were basic. If I were to come back I would get a plate to go. Our server Cita could have been more attentive, especially considering they include an automatic gratuity of 18%. The bus guy Carlos was more attentive than our actual server. I liked the live DJ though.

   We had a party of 6. We just decided to go and check them out. I don’t know if it was just where we were sitting but there were bugs flying everywhere. It was so annoying. We had to cover our food and drinks to try to avoid anything from flying in or on them. I guess I got the wrong dish. The salmon was over cooked and the greens were just seasoned with pepper. The wings were good and the oxtails were alright. We spoke with the manager and she was very flippant. She didn’t try to do anything to fix our issue. I can say that we gave it a try.

   Very nice vibe and customer service was great.. They sung happy birthday to my sister and made her day feel special with a card and a note inside 10/10 recommend

   If you look at the YouTube video reviews on this place it is spot on. There is just a few menu items that didn't impress me as well just like the YouTube video review. The chicken wings as Original were not crispy, but tender. However, I might have gotten a didn't view if I would have chosen one of their sauces for the wings. The mac & cheese is dry, but yet flavorful with a decent amount of pepper in it. The blacken salmon and the stuff chicken along with the rasta pasta was amazing. The Rasta Pasta is spicy if you can handle the heat. However, there are a few other menu items that I would like to try, and I will go back to try those. The overall experience was very good especially for the service to be so good with them using young kids with some being in high school, and it's not easy to find young people to give you that level of good service at that age. Nonetheless, this is a black own establishment that is worth supporting. To the owner, thank you for your "Yes" to serve the black community.

   I took my mom here for Mother’s Day. Order a drink that was overly mixed with strawberry syrup that it was siting at the bottom of the glass meaning the bartender didn’t even shake the drink to mix it. Ask the waitress for another drink because I did not like the drink didn’t drink it at all because I didn’t want to get sick from the syrup resting at the bottom of the glass. Waitress informed me that they don’t take drinks back and they can modify the drink to my liking offered me a shot of don julio then charged me for the shot too did not explain to me that this was a up charge. So there’s no substituting drinks or food if you don’t like what you order you you’re stuck. Food Oxtails was Good (my mom ordered) Jerk Cornish hen w rice was Dry did not like Black owned businesses need to treat your black people like you want us there!

    Overall, I give it a 9 out of 10 We had a large party booked today for Mother’s Day and the manager and staff was very accommodating Great energy great environment. The DJ was on point. The energy and atmosphere was top-notch. The only area of improvement that I could see honestly was the seasoning of the greens being that it’s a soul food restaurant the greens lack any real seasoning at all, which was surprising because the rest of the food was flavorful. My family and I will be back for sure nonetheless .
