Song E Napule
Came here twice with family for both Mother’s and Father’s Day after hearing good things and have not been disappointed. The food is outstanding, from the appetizers to the pastas and the pizzas. (We were too full for dessert both times but no doubt those are great too!) Service was attentive and always friendly. Would gladly come back again and again.
Three of us went to Song e Napule for the first time on a recent Saturday night. We appreciated being able to get a late reservation (10 PM); when we arrived, the place, which is quite small, was packed. We had a brief wait before being seated. I don't know if Song e Napule is as raucous every night as it was on Saturday, but if you're looking for a quiet spot conducive to conversation, it's not the place. The music was very loud and the staff and owner were boisterous, too. It was like eating in a neighborhood spot in Naples, but louder. (Interestingly, a lot of the music was salsa sung in Italian -- I was startled by the version of "Guantanamera" they played because the singer was singing that Cuban classic in italiano, not Spanish.) That said, we enjoyed our meal a lot and as it got later and things quieted down a bit, the lively atmosphere was fun. Service, by Ciro (the owner, I think) and Giggino was efficient and genial. We had pizza, and we all felt it was the best pizza napoletana we'd had in a long time -- perfect crust, light and pillowy yet chewy, with excellent tomato sauce, mozzarella, as well as other ingredients (sausage and mushrooms for me, mushrooms for another one of us, and a napoletana for our third). They were so delicious we gobbled them up in minutes. We will return, maybe on a week night, to sample some of the other Neapolitan specialties. Highly recommended for excellent and authentic Neapolitan pizza. Just be prepared for the noise level.
Amazing!!! So so fun and such great guys
Love this place, I have been here many time, because the pizza is the best. I also love the ambience and service, definitely go and try this place you would not be disappointed.
Great food, portions could have been a little bigger. Overall great restaurant.
Wonderful brick oven pizza. Local Italian ownership. Great neighborhood place. Very small, indoor and outdoor seating. Super casual.
Eccezionale !!!! Staff ultrasimpatico !!!
Everything was must perfect. The pizza was even better than many places in italy, let alone NY. And i’m saying this as an Italian myself
great food, great service! a little more expensive than we anticipated but not at all unreasonable. an awesome experience all around, we'll be back!
Excellent service, tasty food in a perfect ambiance. Great experience!
really really delicious food and friendly, attentive staff
Beautiful food, great service, fantastic atmosphere.
Amazing service, fantastic authentic Italian pizza, perfect dinner choice!
This is hands down the best Pizzeria outside Italy that I ever tried. When you enter, you are transferred to Italy and the food, ambiance, the language that everyone around you speak (both the staff and the patrons) is another experience. Very highly recommended!!!
Amazing place, authentic italian staff and the best pizza an italian like me had in the city. 10/10 recommend!
A true Napoli experience. A lot of restaurants claim they are, but only few can offer it.
Best restaurant in NYC!!!!!! The staff were amazing and fun! Great experience!
The space is really small, but the food is amazing!
Recommend to reserve a table .
Awesome food and friendly service! If you love pizza, and pasta, I highly recommend coming here!
Absolutely delicious pizza and definitely worth a visit!
Really great small local Italian spot. The service was wonderful... I had a reservation for a Friday night for 5 people ... it wound up that I needed a table for 9! They were able to accommodate us at the last minute. So so nice! The calamari, eggplant and zucchini appetizer was fantastic! And the pizza is perfect!
One of the best pizza I had outside of Italy. Small restaurant with super friendly atmosphere. Book in advance.
Fantastic italian food from the appetizers to the desserts. The service was impeccable; it felt like we were served by a big family. We can’t wait to go back!
Tiny spot, Better in the summer when you can sit at the outside tables . Pizza is terrific and I had an artichoke app which was also excellent. The waiter was a little slow and the tables are on top of each other. But fun for an afternoon .
One of my favourite restaurants in the city. Chiro and the S&N team are masters of delivering an experience, and the freshness of the ingredients is unparalleled. Go for the food, stay for the Italian charm and fanfare
Excellent place, food is fantastic and the ambiance is perfect.
This wasn't the first time there,we go quite often and the food is always excellent, service is always excellent and we just have a good time every time we go! If you have never been there, it's probably the Best Pizza Napoletana in the 5 boroughs hands down !!!
It was the best pizza with the best vibe I ever had in New york city since a long time !!!!!!
Expect tight quarters and small tables, great food, all Italian kitchen led by proprietor Ciro.
Up beat friendly staff and service. Each time we’ve eaten here it’s been loaded with Italian diners which speaks volumes about the quality of the food. Pizzas are excellent, broccoli rabe so good, eggplant delicious as are the macaronis. Didn’t try the salads yet.
Definitely a keeper.
Song e Napoli was recommended to us by Italians.
Lovely fellas even if they are Napoli fans! Great food and atmosphere
Ciro and his staff, the best
Great pizza. Small and quite cramped environment. Very noisy
André at Piccolo Café pointed us to Song e Napule and said it’s the only pizza outside of his home town in Italy that is just like home. He wasn’t kidding. Felt like I was back in Florence. Everyone that came in was speaking Italian. The marinara pizza (no cheese) was amazing. So simple, but the sauce and crust were perfection. Going back again just for the marinara pizza and to try the homemade pasta before I leave town.
Likely the best affodable italian restaurant in NY
Fun place good food
Lots of fun! Perfect place to treat my niece who is studying at NYU!
Spring Break! Outstanding pizza, my fav in the entire city!
