Late Sunday brunch on a beautiful spring day.
Reserved outdoor dining for 2
Arrived on time... then
Waited 20+ mins to be seated even though there are very specific time restrictions per reservation.
and after some confusion on wait staff we did get to place our order which came 30+ mins later with only half the correct order.
Staff were apologetic and we did receive a 25 % comp on the Bill.

Outdoor dining was okay we were in this box and there was not much room to enjoy ourselves. The food and drinks were good though!

We were a party of 2. Our server was great. The food was also great. However, My issue was with the hostess. She wasn’t friendly and lacked customer service. Our appetizers arrived and we asked for condiments. She was quick to let us know she wasn’t our server therefore could not provide us with the items. We followed up and asked if she can let our server know we needed a few things. She hastily walked away. Then after we finished our meal, she said we needed to get going as the other party that reserved the table after us was waiting. We hadn’t received our bill yet. She then came back and asked if we were done as the other party was now waiting 30 minutes. No fault of ours for the delay. Our bill finally came and we paid it. Won’t be going back there again.

Mediocre food and service. I wouldn't go back unless I just wanted to grab a drink at the bar.

The food was below average. We got the red velvet pancake and vegetarian rancheros. The rancheros was just potatoes with one fried tortilla and I am glad I asked for some aioli sauce or else it would just be potatoes with fired tortilla. Do not recommend it at all. The red velvet cake additionally was equally tasteless. The best part was the whipped cream. No flavor and a very cakey pancake.

Not going back ever again.

Very nice restaurant with great service. Everyone was friendly and the food was delicious!

Drinks and food were excellent. The service was fast and our waitress Janel was great! Definitely want to go back!! Sling blade drink was great lobster Mac and cheese was so yummy.

Mussels were very good
Roasted red pepper humus might have been Sabra
Mushroom pappardelle was beyond rich, mostly just oily.
Lobster ravioli was nothing special.
Bourbon banana bread pudding was decent but took as long as the first two courses combined to get outta the kitchen

There was work being done by the Waters company , thats was veery loud . The waitress wasn’t attentive enough , they put salt on our rim , and we asked for sugar , sent it back , and all they did was pour the same salty drink into another glass. Charged $5 to prep a drink. Second and last time going to Somo

Wonderful first dinner out after a year of dinners in. We appreciated the outdoor set-up and care from the staff. Marcelino was an excellent server, balancing friendly conversation around our orders with space to enjoy ourselves and the rare night out (we have little ones, and you know, COVID times). Food was great, Disco Fries (Poutine?) Delish and my wife loved the Scampi. Thank you SOMO, for a perfect night out. I’m in the industry, so I appreciate both the great experience and everything you’ve been through this year. Kudos and keep it up!

Enjoyed the whole experience for brunch. The service was fast and very pleasant.

Good food, good selection, and good social distancing. Ambiance was very nice. But, service was very slow to take our order and get our check. Maybe it was a busy time, not sure. Still, would go back again.

Food was AMAZING we went for brunch and sat outside. Unfortunately the service was some of the worst service I’ve ever had. Our drinks took 20 minutes for coffee a bottled beer and one cocktail, I could see them sitting on the service well waiting to be ran. Our waiter never offered to refill our water and it took 45 minutes for our entrees. Not a single plate was cleared through the entire time until a food runner saw the pile of dishes. Food and ambiance are amazing it’s a shame the service was so poor.

Excellent smashed pea burgers, fantastic ginger Rogers drinks... wonderful salads!

The food was okay- I had chicken tacos and they were dry. The server never wiped of our table, never brought us silverware, and she never told us the bar was closing when we asked for shots. I wouldn’t return!

Went for family brunch. Drinks were great, food was amazing, service was fast even though they were busy. Would highly recommend for any occasion!

Our visit to SOMO was outstanding. I had the filet which was fresh and prepared properly. The sides were fresh and delicious. Our server was very attentive and the pacing of the meal was excellent. I would visit again!

Eastern Brunch was amazing! Zach our waiter was Great!
Hot in outdoor enclosed booth but we were warned.
We had our puppy so we were limited.

Overall this place is great. However they only had a prefixed menu that didn’t make any sense to what you’d expect for brunch . No meats were allowed to be added . I don’t know about everyone else but an omelette with out meat for sides was pointless. Again this was for Easter . Now if I had known I would’ve went somewhere else as the prefixed menu also was overpriced for their poor options provided.

Excellent experience! Warm welcome by the host. Restaurant is practicing COVID procedures. We both had seafood dishes which were excellent (crab cakes and scampi)! Greeted by the manager whom checked in on our satisfaction as well. Wonderful meal!! Way to go all!!

Our waiter was extremely nice and the food was really good the only thing I can complain about is you made a reservation for standard seating and we’re still sad all the way in the back in these tiny paws they’re a little colder than I like however the ambience is beautiful and the meatballs were amazing

The Drinks were fantastic probably my favorite part was the lychee martini ... the food was good the onion jam on the burger was probably my favorite thing I ate it really elevated a cheese burger !! I’d definitely go back the restaurant was beautiful the service was great!

Restaurant was very loud, food average, good service but reservations are only for an hour and a half.

It was perfect.

The service manager Marisa was very accommodating. My colleague and I are both in the food service industry and it is always amazing to see someone at the top of their game. Service, food and ambience were all great, but Marisa is what made our experience shine.

Nice place and cozy live it there I would go again and tell others of this place ...

Fabulous brunch! The decor and ambiance are the best!

Our waitress lost the ticket to our food and because we were seated next to the kitchen I heard the entire conversation. Once the food came it was worth the wait. Food and drinks were amazing

Our server, Gina, was thee best. She was very attentive and checked on us frequently. The bottomless mimosas were on point and Gina made sure our glasses stayed full. I had the brussels and the Somo classic and my aunt had the avocado toast and Somo classic. The food was amazing, I’m eating my brussels now as I’m writing lol.

Banana foster pancakes are so good!!! The homefries are amazing
