It was good! Cute little place! I only wish they tried harder on the small details to take it to the next level - such as serving the bread warm and not cold, and having the waiter understand/sell the menu better..

The experience at Sola is great! I’d recommend booking bar top seating if you’re on a date. You sit right in front of the cooks & it makes the whole ambiance more fun!!
Food was amazing - we tried the 5 different pastas (an option on the menu) & all of them were 10/10.
Wine was great as well.

Def would go back!

I love the food and try to go every time I’m in NYC, but I invited a friend to meet me for dinner and was embarrassed I had recommended it. Service was less than attentive - we were served flat Prosecco and when this was pointed out to our server he seemed put out. We were not checked in on such that we were left without drinks for quite a while.

That said, the food as always was delicious. Not sure I’d push friends to go again.

Totally in love with this place! Pastas were simply amazing, very attentive service, great decor and atmosphere.

Lots of missing dishes, which is an issue with such a limited menu. Everything was delicious regardless, but our waiter didn’t warn us that 2 out of the 5 dishes in our tasting course would be replaced...

We came down from Canada to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. I had spoken beforehand with the staff to make them aware. On the night of our dinner, we were seated at a commune table with 6 other couples. We could barely hear eachother speak and let's just say it wasn't very romantic. I would have been understanding of it if it wasn't for one of the managers giving away a more "private" table to his friends who arrived later than we did. Food was tasty but cold. Our waitress couldn't wait to get us out of there. I've never seen an Italian restaurant remove the bread BEFORE the pasta entrée arrives.

We opted to go somewhere else for dessert and try to salvage what was left of our anniversary.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience at Sola Pasta Bar for Valentine’s Day! The food was great and the service was fast. We got the pasta tasting option and tried 5 half portion pasta dishes. It was a great way to taste a little bit of everything and it was very reasonably priced.
