Good quality of food, though a bit expensive, but I suppose that you need to pay for quality...
Good with quality but little bit expensive in the price. Worh going
Fantastic restaurant - great food and service.
The fish on day was tasty and fresh, but overall it’s a little bit expensive.
we do enjoy this meal
Over priced for the food that they offer, interior not that contemporary. Service is good. The whole place is just too quiet.
The service is good actually, but the food is really not worthy.
Lovely restaurant. I have been coming ever since it opened, never disappointed. The menu hasn't changed, I guess being this loyal means I am excited if they wanted to evolve their offering
food is great, dessert mocha cake is especially delicious
SO was amazing. Great sushi and sashimi platter as well as a dessert platter... The black sesame ice cream is fabulous
Foods are awesome，but a little bit expensive
I visited this place for several times and it never let me down. I love sashimi here, the quality of fish is great, it tastes fresh with natural umami and the texture is not muddy. I recommended to many of my friends and they all give good feedback.
Friendly staff and Sushi there are amazing.
I went there about 4 times already I I always order Aubergine dengaku and Tofu Steak.
Highly recommande to have try for the rice foie gras. Really amazing taste.
The hidden menu was really nice. But it cost us £33 to have it. But it’s nice just a bit shocked when we saw the bill😂
The quality of the sashimi was amazing. We enjoyed it!
the food is very good and the service is quick (maybe too quick) and nice.
The overall experience was very nice.
Very nice four gras rice! Not on menu have to specially request.
The bento box has changed since I last dined there. Sadly it has gone downhill. The fried pork cutlet and the 2 pieces of beef were so chewy I couldn’t swallow it! They should have kept the marinated fish instead. Thankfully the dessert platter is still good but lacked fruit.
Restaurant with Japanese staff. Authentic Japanese food. Very delicious. Ended up spending more than I would have liked but left full and happy. Will definitely come again.
We were looking for a comparable for Sticks'n Sushi in London and found SO. It really didn't disappoint ! The sushi is excellent, the atmosphere really chilled (without techno or house music banging on in the background!) and the all the waters really sweet and lovely and attentive.
We will definitely go again!
SO is a fantastic Japanese Restaurant in the heart of London's Soho District.
The food is incredible and the staff are delightful and SO is reasonably priced.
If you are looking for exceptional Japanese food at a reasonable price in very
comfortable surrounds visit SO today.
Best place in soho for Japanese food, excellent quality of good and great service
So restaurant Chirashizusi has one of the best topping seafood in London and 17 pound is really good value. However, I would prefer having more rice at the bottom of the toppings and miso soup to be a little warmer and it is a pity you can not talk to your friends very much as the restaurant is pretty crowded.
Went for a casual date after work, food and service were excellent, looking forward to coming back in the near future.
Initially booked for 2 people but came as a group of 5 after pride. The hostess tried hard to get us a table. We initially sat at the bar and then they made room for us at a table downstairs. Despite having forgot one of our orders, service was polite and professional. Food was very good with a good menu selection. Probably going to make this one go my regular Japanese dining spots in central London.
Sashmi was fresh and easy. Good for the location and reasonably priced!
An excellent authentic Japanese restaurant just like you would find in Tokyo. Bravo
Food is high quality, but not spectacular.
Booked in for lunch. The food was excellent. The tempura prawns, in particular, were exquisite and overall everything we were hoping for. The experience was sadly let down slightly by the service, which wasn’t quite up to, what I am sure, are usually high standards. We had to remind the waitress that we’d ordered a bottle of water with our drinks and both dishes ordered came with Miso soup that arrived when we were already half way through our meals. Overall it didn’t detract from a lovely meal but, shall we say, tarnished the edges a bit.
One of the best ‘genuine’ Japanese restaurants in London. The food is Tokyo quality and freshness. Well done and keep it up ! 😎
The food is good and kindly different from what I used to have for Japanese food
The fish and vegetables were very fresh.
Delicious and quality experience in a Japanese restaurant.
Personnel is shy on words but very friendly.
Overall experience was very good although a bit on the expensive side.
Good quality good, pleasant service and central location.
There are fantastic options for both budget and luxury Japanese food in central London, but few places that cater for the middle. SO is that option, and it's great. My dining partners weren't quite sold on the nigiri, but my tuna tataki and black chicken were super. An excellent option for balancing quality and price.
Best sushi and Japanese in town, never fails to amazes us with fresh and tasty flavours and always full of Japanese people which cant be a coincidence. They clearly know where the best Japanese is!
went out with my boyfriend for our celebrate, was our first time in So restaurant the food and the service were excellent, will definitely go back again.
Great food and really good value. I had the sashimi lunch plate and it had a great mix of different sashimi. Highly recommend the yuzu bellini too. Very refreshing. I will definitely be going back!
Good place for Japanese food. The food is very fresh and service good
Too many different waiters for one table, this is a little bit confusing. In total: food and atmosphere are great and SO is absolutely recommendable.
