Food and cocktails were unreal, staff were very friendly. Will definitely visit again

Food was honestly dreadful. Worst meal I've had in galway hands down. Waited about an hour for a rack of ribs, was preseneted with 2 full racks of disgusting unseasoned ribs with no sauce on the second rack and the membrane on the back of the ribs appeared to have not been removed. Honestly dreadful.

Cocktails & Ambience were quite good, staff were sound and accommodating. We were left at the door without any explanation as to why the table wasnt ready, left there for at least 5 mins without anythung being said. After this the staff were A1.

Tunes were banging and loud, not a place to go for a chat really but decent for some drinks, wouldn't bother with food.

The cocktails were a little too sweet for our liking but other than that all was good! The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we had a good time

Chicken wings are probably the best thing on the menu. 6oz burgers for the price of an 8oz elsewhere. Nothing really to compliment apart from waiting staff/ bar staff. Very attentive and polite. If they didn’t know something they were honest and went and asked. Standard food really. Shame as the social media made it look REALLY tasty and a lot bigger portions. Nice cider/beer on tap, cocktails are ok but well presented. Wouldn’t be rushing back but I’d go back some time in the future.

Vegan burger had a fishy taste, kept checking if they accidently gave me a fish burger. Maybe it was fried in oil that had fish in it I don't know

Lovely restaurant, food was delicious as were the cocktails but was spoilt by the cold did ask about it and in fairness the girl did say that she forgot to turn on heating in our area but there was also a door that staff used to access another area which lead to an outside ally and staff were constantly in and out and more often than not did not close the door after them which mafe extremely uncomfortable, im a cold person but even for me its unusual for me to leave my coat on when out for dinner as did all of our party kiddies included, was a shame as food was so good

The service is quite slow. They asked us if we were ready to order but we weren’t so we just ordered drinks but they never came back for food order it took 15 minutes . And price is quite pricey but I still go again . Great place

We ate here for a date one night, we both had chicken and cocktails. The wings were good and chips were lovely but the cocktails were a bit flavourless and weak. But I will be back, thanks.

Had dinner here Sunday night. Food was top class. Great varitarity on the menu. Servers were lovely. Lovely night out with friends we will definitely be returning again.

Food was extremely nice and very good value for what we got.


The only downside was the 2 daiquiri's that we bought, one strawberry and one mango, were quite flavourless and tasted neither of fruit or alcohol, which was quite disappointing as we paid 8 euro for each.

Otherwise than that everything was perfect.

We had a mixtures of sliders with loaded fried lots of different dressings to choose from, if you're stuck just ask the staff for recommendations

Disappointed with the visit here to be honest.. we were sat there for about an hour and no sign of hour order, we asked about it and we got a 'sorry' and it was never sent in. the food came out then about five minutes later and it was average and extremely dry.the cocktails were nice. It was the service/foodthat was a let down, it was busy but they forgot our order and there was no offer of anything on the house or reducing even one round of drink! Coming from the waitressing background it would have been at least a nice gesture..

Cocktails were a bit heavy handed with sugar syrup, hard to drink. The Sliders were lovely but the chips tasted like there was a weird seasoning on them and a bit hard. The service was brilliant and the girls were lovely that served us

Food was excellent. However, there were almost too many servers but yet we were waiting a while to order food. It could have done with more air conditioning as it was very warm in there and we struggled to get in and out of the restaurant with the tables outside.

Couldn’t wait to try this place out and it’s just as good as it looks on Facebook
Food is unreal and the cocktails are amazing, all really reasonably priced too! Couldn’t believe how big the inside is too as I never visited the old restaurant there, funky decor!!
It’s obviously a very busy spot so understandably the staff were running around, but even at that there was very little wait on drinks and food, considering there was only 2 bartenders doing all the cocktails for quite a big restaurant! The staff were very accommodating and friendly, they seem to have a very good vibe between them all too!
The music is good but probably suits a younger clientele, I would imagine their concept is aged towards them anyways but it 100% works. Galway needed something like this, definitely will be back!

Cauliflower Wings with Sticky bouron were incredible! As were the sloppy Fries! 😍

No social distancing seemed to be implemented between tables. Some of the servers wore their masks belwo their noses at times.

Amazing as always.third time here food is fantastic taste and flavour is great.coctails are to die for and as always the service by all the team is a credit to them and management.will be back and an telling every one about about Sliders.well done.keep up the great work.

Food moderate found a big blood part in my chicken immediately put me off my food, my guests were not that impressed either

Noise level okay but table beside us was very loud a group of young people no interest in food only drink!!!

It was extremely hot in this bar very uncomfortable to sit in also we ordered drinks and were waiting 10 minutes for them and I could see them sat for near the 10 minutes waiting for a staff member to collect them there was plenty around and they were collecting new drinks that were just been put out.

Over all the experience was great.food was amazing really tasty.one particular waitress with blonde hair and kom style Jean's made the evening this was my second visit in less than a week.This time was my family including my son who is 6 and he loved it.im actually heading back again this evening with 3 friends ye guys are doing something right 3 times in 6 days.anyway well done keep up the great work

Was let down by the experience here.
We were sat in a corner so felt a bit hidden away and it was difficult to get anyone’s attention. The serving staff were very rushed and inconsistent. It took quite a while for our order to be taken.
Eventually when we did order, the started came out straight away. The Mac and cheese bites were stated on the menu as having a cheese sauce dip - I did not receive this. Wings were good.
We ordered 2 cocktails - these did not arrive. We alerted a waiter to this and thankfully he rectified this, apologized and submitted the order for these straight away (person who took the drinks order originally did not submit the order). The new drinks took a good while to arrive - Unfortunately this meant we hadn’t received a drink until we finished our mains. They should have offered water to us while the cocktails are being prepared considering we had to eat our starters and mains with no drink. They gave us a cocktail free because of this.
We ordered a burger and a philly cheese steak. They forgot my garlic dip and I had to ask for this again.
The burger itself was really dry unfortunately. Philly cheese steak was ok but it’s just served on an average hot dog bun. The Philly cheese steak was listed on the menu as being served with cheese fries. When it came out they were just normal fries which was very poor.
Found the fries to be very hard and tasted frozen.
Wouldn’t be in a rush back. One staff member in particular was very friendly but others seemed rushed.

Good food and cocktails at reasonable prices. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Service was a bit slow at times but they were extremely busy so it was understandable. Great place to go for a meal and a few drinks with a group of mates. Try get a table in the front of the restaurant as the kitchen is at the back and makes it extremely warm. Overall great experience however and would definitely return next time I’m in Galway!

Booked for a meal at 12:30 using the app. Arrived to sliders and waited to be seen to. At 12:40 the waiter told us they don’t open until 1:30 despite us having booked a table for 12:30. Very disappointing and staff didn’t even apologise for inconvenience

I was extremely impressed with this new, up and coming restaurant located on beautiful Quay Street in Galway. I have tried almost every restaurant in Galway over the years and I have to say Sliders & Grill is so individual and stands out from the rest. The menu is American inspired with a touch of class. The majority of food on the menu quite simply is not available anywhere else in Galway which adds to the restaurants uniqueness. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The food and cocktails were very enjoyable. The energetic and lively vibe in the restaurant was very uplifting. I will definitely be back here again without a doubt. 10/10
