Italian
sixth+mill pizzeria and bar is a new concept from Chef Angelo Auriana & Restaurateur Matteo Ferdinandi offering a casual dining destination celebrating the regions of Southern Italy. The risto-pizzeria also features hard durum wheat pastas, and a selection of shared small plates and dishes inspired by Chef Angelo’s childhood memories. Sommelier Francine Diamond-Ferdinandi presents a wine and beer list along with full bar to pair with the approachable menu.

This seems a chef driven concept with a strong culinary foundation, but terrible follow through. The pizza dough is chewy and wood fired, and the Brussels sprouts are crispy with a refreshing lemon note. It's just no one in this restaurant seemed to care in an early evening when there were just a few other guests. Seated at a dirty banquet, we were met by an indifferent waiter, who at the end of the meal left us sitting with dirty dishes for 20+ minutes. A chef put her bare hand into a box of some food product brought out by another chef. She tasted the product and then, exhibiting not a care for guest hygiene, went into the box for another taste. All of the kitchen personnel looked as if they wanted to be anywhere but in that kitchen turning out food with compassion. The hostess parked herself at her station the entire meal, and seemed to be watching videos on her laptop. Out the door an hour later we paid $9 to the valet (plus tip) in an almost empty lot. To the owners of this restaurant I want to ask...why bother. Why bother creating a lovely space and a decent menu, only to give your guests a so what experience. Be in the hospitality industry and fight for guest loyalty or close it down and give this space to someone who cares.

Our server was very attentive and addressed all of our questions and concerns.
The noise level was good but there were not a lot of guests in the restaurant at the time we were there.
5 of us enjoyed our lunches. We all something different. I thought my gnocchi lacked flavor, so I added both crushed red peppers, as well as additional Parmesan, to give it more interest.

Everything was great. I do with that parking could be validated or the it could have been paid by credit card.

Food was great! Service was a little slow, but we went on a slow night so I think the service is more relaxed (aka they’re not super staffed). Would definitely come back tho. Everything we ordered was delicious!

Everything we ordered was great. Fried brussels sprouts, pizza, orecchiette pasta, caprese salad and the star of the show, the muscles is a broth that was one of the best things I’ve had all year.

The service was attentive but rushed. All of our food came out almost at once.
This is a great partner to Brerra.
I like this concept much better that Pizzeria Mozza’s.

Great service with a good selection of Italian food. It was two of us and we decided to share the food so ordered Brussels sprouts which came in a big plays enough for two of us and was crispy and delicious, calzone was good too. Shared their potato salad with a sausage pizza. Was very fresh and delicious

this is just a great place for a relaxed casual dinner. Reminds me of pizzeria's in florence. A very nice mix of people warm ambiance. For those who want a more exotic experience, they can go next door , same owner, great food.

Parking was convenient, food was excellent. We had 4 different pizzas, an entree and a couple of the vegetable small plates. Everything tasted amazing. The Brussels sprouts were some of the best I’ve ever had! The cushions all along the benches were absolutely filthy. They’re probably clean but the stains remain. Also, almost nothing to eat for a friend with gluten allergies. The GF dough wasn’t ready (still needed an hour) when we arrived at noon for lunch. Really?!

First time here. Liked the industrial decor and it didn’t hold in the noise like many similarly decorated restaurants. Had the mushroom toast which was really flavorful and we both very much enjoyed it. Then split the cacia y Pepe; the pasta was perfectly cooked with a great toothy feel but I’ve had better sauce. I am looking forward to returning and trying other dishes.

Farro salad was good, melitzane ( eggplant) was excellent! Chicken scallopini was excellent, pizza was soggy, not crisp on bottom. Tiramisu was excellent, peach Melba had sliced peaches with over half brown right on top and in the bottom layer, and were not grilled as menu said.

For people that say that you need to go to Napoli to get the real deal; go to sixth +mill and you save yourself a $1,200 plane ticket, 12 hour flight and jet lag. Bravo sixth + mill.

We came here during LA Dine week to try out the food. We both loved the relaxed feel of this place, as well as the layout of the restaurant. To start, the minestrone soup was different than your typical minestrone, and was actually quite delicious. The quinoa and chickpeas gave it a unique taste. The spaghetti was a bit disappointing portion size wise as well as taste wise. The flavor was overpowered from the over-salted shredded chicken, so I wish we also tried the pizza. Dessert wise - pretty standard delicious sweets. Nothing stood out immensely for us, but we'd come back for happy hour / drink service.

My party of five arrived after our reservation time, at 10:30. The food we ordered, polpetti and arancini, and a pizza, did not arrive hot. When I commented on this to the waiter, he seemed uninterested in addressing my complaint. We were looking forward to a good pizza from a late-night restaurant. We will not return.

Enjoyed the meatballs and cauliflower fritters. Liked the pizza but thought the crust was a little too soft which made the pizza difficult to eat since the toppings kept sliding off.

OMG! What a great little gem....! My wife booked this place and upon entering, very few people were in there, I was thinking we should eat next door at a proven favorite! I could not be more wrong. The meatballs were the best I can remember eating, the onion rings were delicious, and the Pizza's were outstanding as were the two waiters who tag teamed for us. The gelato and donuts were out of this world. We will be back very very soon......... A great new favorite.

Fabulous white and red pizzas! Delicious salads, highly recommend the meatball appetizer and the wines by the glass are very well priced. Did I mention the cannoli for dessert? Well, it's worth every calorie.

The cheese inside the arancini was cold and it really needed a sauce e.g, San Marzano marinara. Pizza crust was good, but overall pizza was bland.
