Every Night. Every Occasion. Make it a Simply Fondue night.
Wonderful food & service. Would definitely go back. The garlic chicken was to die for.
Great experience. Worth the price. Our server was awesome and helpful.
We arrived 10 mins before our reservation, but had to wait 45 mins to be seated, with really no wait area. Many others waited as well and never were we greeted or updated. Server was pretty good- helpful, but obviously overwhelmed. Good was mediocre in comparison to other fondue places I have been. The salad is literally a wedge of a lettuce head, dipped in ranch and sprinkled with cheese and bacon. We had to ask for our drinks again, which finally came after we had already ate the cheese portion and salad. Overall, I would not recommend and I would not visit again.
We don't come often, so when we do, it is a treat! Our waiter was so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, and also recommended some of his favorites. Two thumbs up!
Great date night.
Awesome food and great dining experience. Really an opportunity to have more time to enjoy a meal with loved ones and partake in the joy of preparing food.
We had a reservation with 3 adults and 3 children thinking this would be a fun way to dine with kiddos, and we were wrong. The meal took over 3 hours for no reason other than our waiter disappeared for vast amounts of time. We actually had to get up and find someone twice to help with drink/food requests. And then they overcharged us at the end of the meal, and the person at the front desk was abysmally unhelpful. Truly disappointing on all counts. We won’t be returning.
Food was great. Took too long to wait on food to be ready.
Very nice atmosphere and food was incredible! My wife and I loved the experience.
The food was very good the service was excellent!
Overall our experience was good. Our waitress seemed very scattered. She kept forgetting things and brought us a scotch instead of a bourbon. The food was good and we enjoyed it. The service just could've been better.
Devita was our waitress, and she was amazing! Fun place to eat, food was great, atmosphere was great. Would definitely eat here again.
I can’t wait to go back! Everything was so great! Great service! Definitely just for special occasions, but loved it!
Jose was great. Very friendly and accommodating. I hadn’t been in a while but I will definitively visit again soon.
Good service Cesar was our waitress , good food !!
Simply Fondue was definitely a dining Experience. I enjoyed the Classic that we ordered. We received excellent service throughout the experience. My husband texted me the next day while he was working and stated that he really enjoyed the restaurant. I will definitely return.
Amazing food. Our waiter Ian was very sweet and helpful.
We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Nice intimate space. We only ordered cheese and chocolate fondue. Waiter seemed less than enthused about us not ordering the complete dinner (way too much food!). No explanation about what was happening (this was our first time) until we asked. Actually not much talking from the waiter. I was speaking to him mid sentence one time when he breezed away. Meal still took 2 hours to finish. We may come back and try the protein portion next time and skip the cheese which was congealed before we could finish dipping all the bread and veggies. Chocolate was awesome. Would have liked to ask if we could have more fruit to dip since we had chocolate left over but check was dropped off and waiter disappeared.
We always used to go to Melting Pot, because we knew it. This local establishment is such a better option, good kids menu too and everyone has such a fun time. Without even having to ask the cell phones are down and we spend family time together and TALK, isn’t that amazing a magic restaurant that does that for a family.
Have been many times. This time everything was a bit off. Cheese fondue was lumpy and semi-warm. Entrees were short on batter, instruction and hot oil. Dessert was missing cake cubes (was told that they no longer provide them). Waiter was spread too thin. It was just an off experience. Sad, because it is my daughter's favorite restaurant. At $49/person, more is expected.
My wife and I went for our anniversary...we’d never been before. Other reviewers were right when they said give yourself the two hours...maybe more...time allotted. Our server was Cesar...he was great! He was super accommodating and funny. We were a bit rushed as we had to make a show but like I said Cesar was ready and willing to get us out of there without taking away from the experience. We’ll definitely be returning. My one small complaint was that it was warm and humid in the restaurant...I’m not sure if their a/c wasn’t working or they simply weren’t expecting a 77 degree day in the middle of January but it was very humid and warm.
19 year old birthday
The service was great but we arrived at 930 and didn't finish our meal until 1230. We didn't get seated until almost 1030.
I was falling asleep at the table and the place was understaffed.
I’d love to be able to review the food but, unfortunately, I can’t because we were never seated for our 2 party reservation. Checked in at 9:05 for our 9:15 reservation. Waited by the bar until 9:50 and left to eat across the street since we had not been seated, updated or even acknowledged as to how much longer we would be waiting. 4 stars for decor though and the food at Rapscallion was AMAZING!
good not great. liked the cheese
No where online or on the menu did it mention that we would be cooking our own "proteins". The cheese was great, but I didn't know we were to cook our own meat, which can be unhealthy and very time consuming. The waitress was very nice and patient, but it wasn't clarified that a later portion of our meal was up to us to prepare. I though all you did was dip prepared/cooked food for the whole nights meal.
We go to this Simply Fondue quite often. However, they were very short staffed this Sunday. It took our party of 2 approximately 3 and a half hours to have our four courses. This has never happened before. We usually spend two hours maximum. They had only one waiter. He did a awesome job but should of not been put in this position. We will be back but not on a Sunday. I may also call ahead and ask about staffing as drive from Grand Prairie.
We had an awesome date night and used a Groupon. Our server and food were great!
Fondue was great. We liked the relaxed atmosphere. The protein portion of dinner was a huge disappointment. Several of the proteins were coated and red pepper flakes and way too spicy. Further our table top skillet was turned up too high and each of the items we cooked were blackened on the outside before they were fully cooked inside. In all a very substandard experience for a $70 meal.
My boyfriend and I came here for New Year’s Eve. It was a great first experience and our server was wonderful. Food and drinks were both great- left extremely full!
We’ve been celebrating New Years Eve dinner at Simply Fondue for over 20 years. Since Tony has taken ownership the food and service has only gotten better and this year was no exception. Tony and his staff (we had our regular server Brandon) took excellent care of us and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. If you have never been here before we highly recommend it. Go with the Classic fondue (4 course dinner) and allocate 2.5 hrs to enjoy your meal.
We had such a wonderful time! The portions were big, the food was amazing, and our server was incredible!! We will definitely be returning in the future.
Our server had issues with time management and spent a long time socializing with other tables rather than keeping up the speed of service for our table. We we're sat and did not see her for 25 minutes, at which point she did explain the menu and options really well and made some great recommendations but then disappeared again. We had been sitting for an hour and a half by the time our first course was ready. My drink was only refilled one time the entire service, though they did have somebody refilling water so that was constantly full. We should have received six types of meat and they only brought out five they, did not bring out the beef sausage. At this point we were two and a half hours into the service and ended up frying all of our Meats to just take home and skipping the dessert course. The manager did give us a significant discount on the meal but did not seem very happy about it and kept assuring us that it was normal for the meal to last this long. My understanding is it is about a two and a half hour experience for the entire meal to occur... We were there 5 minutes short of three hours and only got to experience the first half of the meal... that does not seem normal to me. Our server was extremely apologetic after the fact, of which I was extremely appreciative but at this point myself and my children were ready to go. Overall it was a disappointing experience for my family and I dont believe we will return to this location.
Our first time eating fondue and it was great. The kids absolutely loved it. Jose was amazing and walked us through the process.
You can’t go wrong choosing Simply Fondue! Superb in every way!
Our server was Brandon, he gave us great service. He explained every step. Loved the ambiance.
Booths uncomfortable. Menu pricing confusing. Single source of heat limits choices.
The staff and food was outstanding!!
Great staff and food!
