Sifu Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Excellent venu & location.
Could not fault the food beautiful fusion of Asian favours well presented and authentic!
This place could easily become a fine dinning
Restaurant and popular place to eat fantastic Chinese food!
The one thing which could easily be fixed is the lack of experienced wait staff
The service let you down badly!!
Really nice friendly staff but a serious lack of knowledge in service! Silly things like not explaining to customers what they ordered was no longer availible instead of waiting for us to flag you down to say our friend had not received his entree & we had finished ous the mains started to come out! The table hadn't been cleared
This place could be an absolute gold mine & place to take friends. Seriously good food, the bar was great & modern! It was run as if it was a motel restaurant!!!!
The food and service was excellent. The was our first time at Sifu and being locals, we have been searching for a good chinese restaurant.
My only criticism is the price of wines on the wine list! To make this restaurant a regular, i would need to be able to choose a " house " wine which would make the whole dining experience more affordable!
This is my second time at Sifu and as before the food was excellent. Couldn't fault a thing.
The staff were courteous if a little standoffish but no big deal. The only thing I would like to see improve is the ambience. The restaurant is very large and both times I have been (most recently on a Friday night) I would estimate that only 20% of the tables were occupied. As such you had better bring your own atmosphere as it is rather soul-less.
That being said it is as good Chinese food as I have ever found on the Gold Coast and will continue to go there for the quality of food alone.
Thoroughly enjoyed a banquet meal with my daughter, the other evening. We each had a cocktail and they were delicious. Sifu's staff were lovely and attentive. I appreciate everyones efforts in making this a pleasurable experience for the both of us.
Thank you all, when in town will certainly come back.
The food was well presented with very good flavours. Everything was fresh, service was really good as there weren't many people about. The only thing I would really fault would be the bowls you eat from were too deep. Other than that dinner was lovely and they brought out a beautiful dessert cake for my mums birthday. A very nice surprise. A definite positive change from the run of the mill Chinese restaurants.
Staff were no where to be found after seating you. You have to hunt for them to take your order. Same thing after you've had your meal. No one takes your dish away. But they were quick to ask you've paid when you walk out. As for the food, I don't think the kitchen tasted the food they serve - high sodium.
Layers of incredible, authentic flavours made the food at Sifu absolutely outstanding. A beautiful atmosphere that is calm and relaxed considering the high level of service and five star feel. We couldn't have been looked after better by the friendly and helpful staff... it felt like VIP treatment for the average person. Loved it and we will be back to try more of the menu next time.
