I booked a table for my mother’s birthday only to arrive and find the restaurant closed, on a Friday evening. Will never visit this place again.

Finally an amazing Italian place: stone oven pizza, real Italian pasta, lovey surroundings and all Italian staff. My Italian husband and family and I love going there 2x a week now actually, for lunch or dinner. Best place for pizza and pasta

Best Italian restaurant in West London! Great restaurant, amazing food and staff super helpful! The owner is lovely. Very family friendly. Five stars from my husband, my son and I.

The Pizzas (Diavola - we ordered) were really good but the pastas and starters are average. We saw a lot of take away for the Pizzas happening while we were having a meal. This was my second visit. First time we didn’t order a starter. Second time we did - the arancinj with swordfish. It was a massive ball as opposed to a few small ones. Nothing wrong with that. But it was dry and too much of the same thing without enough sauce to go with. My husband ordered the starter so they bought my main out with it. Which is not the right thing to do. Serve starters and then main. I thought this was a one off. Maybe I looked hungry but they did this to another table next to us. Also, was main which was the mushroom truffle pasta was bland. Like no flavour whatsoever. So I send it back. And ordered another pasta. They got that mixed with something I didn’t order which meant my husband ate his main alone while I waited for my pasta. When it came it was too al dente but by then I’d lost all willingness to ask for another dish. The wine list looks decent and well priced. Given there are so many places to eat on Westbourne Grove. They need to up their act if they want repeat business. On a positive note, the staff was pleasant ;) And we had the tiramisu, which was OK..

admittedly we were there on a Monday evening but the whole experience was a bit depressing. there was a table of four or six people beside the door, we assumed they were the owners, who all sat glued to their phones, drinking wine and not talking during the whole time we were there, except to occasionally tell of one of the young and rathe inexperienced staff. The food was ok, although there were very few Sicilian dishes or wines on offer. the marinated salmon for the first course was inedible it was so vinegary. the young staff were unsupervised or guided and were charming if a bit hopeless. their English was difficult to understand, and I speak Italian so it wasn't just me being a numpty about a foreign accent. the décor was very heavy and dark and, to my taste, unappealing. I had been so excited about having a Sicilian restaurant in the area, very disappointing.

Beautifully designed restaurant. Friendly staff, but not as attentive as expected particularly considering how few people were there. The food was not up to standard and particularly so in consideration of the price. A couple of us had a bad stomach after.
