    3 adults and 1 Child. We started with chicken karage, demi soup, tempura moriawase, crab green team salt, crab cream croquette. For mains we had tofu steak, sous vide salmon, wagyu beef steak and duck salad. Duck salad felt different from last times but was still good. Feedback- everything was excellent as always.

    Disappointing first experience at Shoya. Service was awfully slow, we ordered the special 5-course beef shabu shabu for two people. It took approx 30mins to receive our for entree then another 30mins for our sashimi and sushi. Two waiter served our area, but did not initiate to follow up. We had ordered warm sake for pairing but unfortunately we had finished our sake by the time entree arrived. It was also odd another table which arrived after us had earlier meal service of same sushi and sashimi. Also note it was evident one waiter lacked experience and professionalism, over hearing his instruction for other table to cook shabu shabu as "wait for the water to bubble and yeah you add in". Lack knowledge of food description, he also pronounced the sum of total bill out which I found unprofessional (could be a personal preference).

    Amazing meal 7 courses. Presentation and quality outstanding. Crab tempura, waygu toro, lobster 3 ways, sashimi and dessert all amazing. Izakaya was as good a sushi as I have ever had
