Excellent service, and the chefs course was a great progression with a lovely variety of different dishes
Friendly staff and really beautiful food easily catered for dietaries will definitely be back
Sho Sho never disappoints! We always enjoy the food here. If you order the larger 'feed me' menu, you had better go with an empty belly, as you will be very full when you leave.
Sho Sho is one of my 'go to' restaurants... always good.
Great food, friendly knowledgeable staff makes ShoSho a truly enjoyable experience. Always a pleasure to eat here
The potato / scallop are sensational! One is not enough
A must go! Such delicious food with a great vibe!
The pancakes were great. Similarly the surprisingly tasty were the tempura beans- could have just stick to them . Dumplings also very nice. The mushrooms were not what I expected.
Chefs selection was filling. The food was delicious. My only criticism was the salt. All the dishes were well seasoned and was a bit much at the end. I would have given it 5 stars but lost a point for the saltiness. Service was great. Wine was lovely. Would I go back? Yes!!
Awesome food, great variety, amazing staff and lovely atmosphere.
Food was average. Salted egg yolk tempura beans had no salted egg yolk flavour at all. The BBQ chasiew was tough and hard to cut and chew. The flavours of all the dishes were alright. Best items were the cocktails, house wine with Delinquente and the yuzu meringue tart dessert.
our waitress for the evening for fantastic, so attentive with great , fun personality. service was excellent
We had a great time - our second time there and very good
An excellent hidden spot with an excellent menu and some of the best customer service I've experienced!
It was our first time lunch in here and it was amazing. Highly recommended!
Food service was rushed and dishes not explained well.
Fantastic Food
Amazing Service
Went for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Exceptionally helpful staff member identified all items that were or could be made Gluten Free and was excellent throughout our time there. Overall very much enjoyed the food but didn’t get to try the tempura items.
The dinner was a gift from family and a birthday gift for Glenys. Waitress acknowledged this and was extremely helpful in helping us make our selections. Cannot fault anything on the night. Would come again.
Delicious food and exceptional service! Totally recommend.
Have tried it twice now, was expecting more, good but not great! The service was very good but we were a bit underwhelmed with the food.
tuna drenched in ponzu OK, and the snake beans, but the soggy shallot pancake with cream cheese escaping from it , and the udon noodles with a few flecks of crab very ordinary.
Food was delicious. Service was super nice and quick. Will return for sure.
Great food, atmosphere & service.
Awesome music. Our new favorite place
Service and food excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. We will return.
Delicious food, friendly & polite waters, great setting. Can't wait to return.
Recommend the chefs menu as we ate some great dishes which we may not have chosen
Great food and service. Have eaten here before and will definitely be back.
Never ever disappoints, incredible wine list, food, staff. Love it. Nothing like it in Adelaide (well apart from the fabulous Shobosho)
Nice venue with good ambiance. Food was not at the level expected in the main the pork was very good with a nice cabbage salad but the tempura prawns a real disappointment. Done in their shells meant it just felt like you were eating shell rather than prawn meat. I commented to the waitress about this not working in my opinion and the response was they are not to everyone’s taste and its a traditional way of doing them. Others items average.
It was my son’s birthday and they made him feel so special and the food was delicious!
Food was good, service was good, loved the complimentary peach liqueur at the end.
We enjoyed a long lunch on Sunday and sat on the verandah, which was perfect. Explored a wide range of dishes and enjoyed lovely wines. Food was outstanding and service was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble.
delicious fresh food. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Easily one of the best restaurants in Adelaide. Excellent food.
Misic too loud
Food great
Sake good need to offer warmed as well as chilled
My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful meal there. The food was delicious and the service efficient and extremely friendly. We felt like an honoured guest. Definitely will go again.
Fabulous, inventive Japanese-inspired food. Wonderful flavours & textures. A destination for foodies!
We booked well in advance because we know how popular it is and therefore impossible to get in at short notice. They were turning people away at the door. We had the most wonderful dinner for two. The tempura onion rings, Spencer Gulf prawns, udon noodles with lobster and crab, and the most excellent potstickers were all small share plates. We also ordered the salmon which was a larger plate with a side of rice and salad, which was fabulous but defeated us. We could have done with one or two fewer small plates for two, but it's like choosing a favourite child to decide which one we would not have wanted. The food and service was outstanding. I would definitely go again.
It was a very very hot night, so it was a bit warm inside and some brave souls were sitting outside. It was a challenge for the a/c with heat, people, and the fire in the kitchen. The music is super cool and super loud. You could talk to each other across the table, but the music volume meant you had to talk so loudly you knew what your neighbours were discussing - which happened to be breast feeding (lol).
Amazing food and service! I've already booked to go back again!!!
Exceptional food, lovely surroundings (striking selection of Japanese original prints on the walls) and attentive, smart service.
