Amazing service, great spot sitting at the bar by the kitchen. Food was good, pricey - do not get the wagyu steak that is 97 dollars. It was cooked well, but tough, and flavorless, definitely not worth the money. Snake beans were delicious as were the pork dumplings. Salmon sashimi - okay.

The menu has changed alot since last time, which is understandable, but none of the dishes had any wow factor and the balance of flavours were way out. The lobster udon was the worst with no lobster and slimy noodles with an overpowering flavour of lemon and seaweed. None of the other dishes were much better and all the serves were so small. They must have a different chef so we won't be back.

No choice other than the set menu for Mother's day. Selection was not ideal and there was no indication what was going to be served. Some servings were what you would expect served for 1 rather than shared between 3 people who paid nearly $100 per person.

Requested chairs - got stools, kept waiting, feed me menu last course never came out even tough we were one of the last there, had to leave. Conveniently didn't have a couple of the requests on feed me menu after we were told we could customise. Waiter ill informed. Still got charged the full amount. Real pity what we did have have good but all other items let us down. Probably wouldn't recommend on basis of service and value. What we did have was fine

The tasting menu was delicious however the customer service was a let down. They were not engaging, cleared plates before we finished eating, we had to ask for plates for dessert. Basic waiting skills were lacking. The waiter spilled a meal on 2 jackets. She was apologetic and we did get $20 off meal. Unfortunately that won’t cover dry cleaning.

The 5-course Feed Me banquet was delicious - really enjoyed having everything selected for us and we sat at the bar watching everything being cooked which was entertaining! It's loud when busy because it's a small place but I enjoyed the bustle of it all.

We had a great experience at Shobosho, the food and the service were exceptional, the venue itself had the setting to match. My in laws took our daughter for the evening so I could take my wife on a date, the experience was worth every penny. I highly recommend the 5 meal taster menu. I would go back in a heart beat.
