Flavour comes first, whether we’re talking about our traditional ramen stock that takes a whole day to make or the unique brews we import from all over Asia. Not sure which beer, sake or umeshu matches your food? Just ask.
The Shizuku Ramen kitchen team serves innovative dishes with a traditional touch. Solo diners can take advantage of ramen lunch deals, groups can book ahead and feast on Izakaya-style sharing dishes (try the karaage popcorn chicken), and we can organise everything from Japanese gyoza to ramen burgers for private functions.
Great place to get a ramen fix. Friendly staff and a wide selection of beers make this a must visit when in East Melbourne
Fantastic beer range, amazing food! Ramen was super delicious.
Dined as a table of four. Half the meals were wonderful, the other half less so. Love that they offer vegan options but not all were winners. Service was speedy. The biggest let down was the price. Over $200 for four which is pretty excessive for the area. Drinks are $10 +, mains are mostly over $20 and $8 for one bao. This really let’s them down. With so many options ont he area, I’d likely go elsewhere.
Great food and wide selection of options. Would recommend.
Ordered the cold ramen with mango which was delicious. Will definitely be back.
Discovered these guys from an OpenTable search for Ramen. They had a very interesting menu, with a lot of non-traditional ramen, which was what ultimately drew us in. The interesting add ons (like the Hainan Chicken ramen that i ordered) worked in its favour, however the ramen would need to step up in such a competitive Melbourne food landscape. I will be back to try the others on the menu as there is a lot of potential here.
Okay food and attentive service, but pretty pricey for what it is.
Lovely little restaurant, that is perfect for a mid-week catch up with friends.
We had a confirmed booking at 11:30am last Saturday. We were there on time and we were told that they don’t open till 12:00 and have to come back. Very disappointing!!!
Awesome menu - its going to take 5 visits to try everything we wanted. The only down side was the music, it was loud and felt like we were at Defqon music festival
Whilst not what I expected in a Japanese restaurant - the modern fusion was full of flavour and a delightful surprise - the staff were welcoming and helpful and the price was excellent value - we probably ordered too much but were loathe to waste it - it was so good - will certainly go again.
Great collection of ramen with fresh noodles and great ramen soup stocks
Great food and extensive beer list(but claimed that they were just sold out on many) Saying that I will be going back for the third time sometime soon!
