Great food in a quiet upscale setting
Wonderful as usual. A standby for us.
They gave the round table to some people that walked in off the streets & put my party of 6 at a rectangular table. They switched us to another round table but it was smaller & squished in. Very loud. Food ok, not as good as last time.
Shiraz is getting better with every visit. The ambiance is welcoming, engaged and respectful staff referent that Persian wherewithal, and the food is just exceptional to every morsel.
We visited in June only so my expectation was that my experience will be okay. However, Kabab Sultani was soft and succulent, both land and chicken. Lamb Shanks remain retain their tenderness and just right spice. Koobideh are outstanding and tender yet aromatic as we’re the lamb chops.
The new management and the new contemporary decor has brought Shiraz back to the front and center of Westchester restaurant enabled by a marvelous and growing recipes.
Needless to say we will be back again en mass as a family again.
Wonderfully tasty meal.
Everything was wonderful. The food was delicious and surprising, and the servers were efficient, kind, and patient. This place is very special and we’ll be back.
Great food and service. Nice to find good middle eastern food in Westchester.
Best Persian in Westchester and NYC by far. Food is prepared fresh daily and the staff are super nice people!
It’s become our regular place to go!
One of our favorite restaurants. It's our go to when we want something special. Everything is fantastic and the owner could not be nicer. He's in control of everything and makes sure it's perfect. Don't miss this restaurant.
Very good food, very friendly folks too.
(Not sure why Opentable asks for 50 words so just typing this sentence in parenthesis to get it recorded !)
Fantastic food and extremely attentive service. This was our first time at Shiraz Kitchen and we are most definitely coming back. We had the "Labneh" and the "Mirza Ghasemi" for appetizers, the "Shirazi Salad" and the "King Kabob for two". Plenty of food for two people and everything was delicious!
Very nice restaurant
Excellent food a service
I recommend this restaurant to everyone who wish good testy food and good service
We started with the dates stuffed with feta and walnuts. Amazing! Then we had the Lamb Chop, Beef, and Chicken kabobs with the Zereshk and Shirin rice. Flavors were out of this world! Saffron ice cream for dessert was to die for! This is the first of many visits we will make to Shiraz!
Hadn’t been there for years and was pleasantly impressed with how the space had been upgraded. The food was even better than we remembered.
We went for my birthday. I had been eyeing this restaurant for ages, but my birthday celebration seemed like the right time. I came with my husband and 3 teen kids. The waitress was really nice and helpful, and explained the food choices. We had a fried eggplant and yogurt dish, picked vegetables, the herb plate and stuffed dates for appetizers. They were all good. For entrees we had the lamb shank, two people ordered kebobs, my youngest had fries and the chicken soup, and I had the stew with eggplant, split yellow peas, beef and something else in it. The spices were interesting and different from other middle eastern or Indian food. I could taste cardamom and cumin. Very tasty. We all agreed that we want to come back.
Authentic and delicious.
As on previous visits, Reza is attentive and knowledgeable. Service is efficient. I am constantly amazed at the breadth of the wine list with some real gems. But kitchen is king (it queen!) here - the food always excels!
Food is delicious, home made flavors. The service is outstanding and welcoming. Great for a quite meal or for a large party. Love the place.
The food and service is excellent. Excellent choices that range from vegetarian to non-vegetarian. Only suggestion would be to have some wine choices in the $35 or $38 per bottle range.
Service was very attentive and helpful from start to finish. We haven’t been there in a few years and were impressed with the updated decor and menu. Even though we decided to forego dessert, our waiter insisted we try the baklava which was excellent.
Staff friendly, meat was tasty. Rice dishes were supposed to be saffron basmati. They were both very dry and lacking in flavor.
Overall just an average lunch.
Amazing food and friendly service. Will definitely come back!
The service, the vast menu, and of course the delicious food. We had the trout which was flaky and moist. The beef and chicken kebab combo was wonderful.
Had a great dinner at Shiraz. Food was delicious, service was attentive and prompt and ambiance was lovely.
This is the best Persian food in Westchester!! Possibly one of the best restaurants overall!!! I’m there at least once or twice a week!! Food is super clean not oily and very fresh!!!
Lovely place. Calm and serene.
Delicious food especially the eggplant dip.
A definite do on every Westchester Foodies list. The food is delicious, different and diverse. And don’t miss their new wine bar next door. It’s the perfect place to meet friends for a comfortable, relaxing drink and nosh.
Food was good except for sea bass which tasted fishy and oily. I had to return dish and got a vegetable stew which was adequate. Chicken kebabs were good. Don’t order wine-smallest serving we ever had in restaurant. Spoke to manager who insisted it was correct and gave smaller glass to pour into to make look like more, but didn’t work. Table in back of us also complained for same reason. Unlike us, they were compensated with an extra glass of wine. Waitress was exceptionally nice. Would not recommend or return to this restaurant!
This was a very nice restaurant in every way. The food, service, and ambiance were wonderful. The Prix Fixe lunch was a great value, considering the excellence of the food. If you want Persian food, I heartly recommend this restaurant.
Party of 6 first time for all of us and we all thought the restaurant was wonderful. It's pretty inside, the wine bar is great and for wine lovers there is a very nice wine list. We shared appetizers which were all excellent, the humus was our least favorite but still good. Our main courses were fantastic, the lamb was cooked exactly how we asked and was extremely tender. Then there was the dessert the Persian love cake with Nutella Gelato was incredible and their homemade Saffron Ice Cream with rose water was outstanding. We all will definitely be back
Food was very well prepared and very delicious. Definitely will be back.
Food and service were the best. They offer very healthy choices and most items are fresh. Highly recommended.
Shiraz is a great find. Great classic Persian cuisine. The kabobs are always great. I also recommend the lamb shank. And there is a great selection of appetizers.
Great food, just got liquor license and put in bar area
Delicious food...extremely small portions
We went for the Westchester Restaurant week, which I had reserved for, but they said they didn’t do evenings but we could get something equivalent, which was probably true, but I liked the idea of the three courses, etc. We ate vegetarian but I bought a beef dish home for my son and that was exceptional . I think they are
More of a
Place. It felt family run which was lovely.
Overall, a very nice dining experience; good food,a bit different than the usual, and bubbly, convivial atmosphere. Only negative- we had to wait 15-20 minutes past our reservation time to get seated.
We had a very good dinner experience at Shiraz Kitchen. We had asked for a quiet table, which we got. The service was friendly and helpful, the menu was very interesting and the food was very good and good value for money. All in all, a very successful dining experience.
