There’s a New Wine Bar on the Block. Enjoy $8.00 drink special from our signature cocktails
Warm and gracious staff food is yummy and nicely presented. The home made salads and hot sauce are all delicious. We enjoyed the tasty lamb chops that were terrific.
Classy place with good food. Would definitely go there again!
Excellent food, good service, reasonable cost
Outstanding service, delicious Kebabs with appropriate sides, good collection of wine and beautiful jazz band on Friday nights. Must visit !
This is a wonderful restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. The staff is very helpful and considerate. Every dish is delectable. I've been going there for a couple of years.
Staff was rather impolite. Forgot drink orders. Charged us for 3 additional drinks and refunded us without appology. The waiter stopped us on way out and trying to argue we had the drinks and are trying not to pay. We actually had paid those drinks at the bar. Main course was being cleared off while some of us were still eating but then we waited a long time for the bill.
One of our favorite restaurants. Food is consistently delicious. Great wine list. Now that the wine bar has opened, it is nosier at the front of the restaurant. Ask to be seated in the back part of the restaurant if you want to have conversation over dinner.
We sat in the back room so it was super quiet but we almost felt forgotten. The place was packed and the staff was spread thin so the long waits between staff checking on us made sense. The food, however, was excellent!
The food was wonderful and the ambience, with the jazz band in the bar, was extremely pleasant. The service, however was poor. They need more, and better trained, staff.
This restaurant keeps getting better and better. The food choices keep increasing and the wine menu is exceptional. The servers are cordial and accommodating. The owner, Reza, is always around checking and making sure everything is perfect and it shows. It's definitely one of our favorite restaurants.
Love the food and the entire place. They’ll take care of you
This restaurant is, quite simply, a rare find. The food was a discovery of vivid new tastes, all at great value. The hosts were gracious,, personal and solicitous, explaining whatever we asked. Service was speedy and courteous. We are definitely going back.
Slightly formal atmosphere with excellent persian food.
Spectacular as always. Amazing, attentive (but not rushed) service. The food is consistently outstanding.
Food was really good. Had the lamb shank. Great French Rhone wine - reasonable price. Restaurant is a little noisy and a little crowded seating wise but the Host was a very nice, soft spoken man. Felt welcome and comfortable - a definite keeper and return visit.
Pleasant atmosphere, cordial service. Food was good but prices seemed a bit high for what you got. Favorite dish was the appetizer of spinach with yogurt.
Very interesting menu and well-meaning attentive staff. There are some really amazing choices on the menu; interesting and fresh food. Look at menu before you go as there are many choices to make.
Went there with my wife on the spur of the moment from looking at the pictures on the net. Almost didn't go in because of the non descript outside... but MAN (or WOMAN :))... were we glad we did!! Food is delicious - totally interesting take on Mediterranean (with an Iranian twist) and inside the decor is really nice- tasteful and classy. Great size room with just enough going on to feel lively without being too noisy or confusing. Wine list was great as were the glasses used for it... Service was perfect. And the music was great. We cant wait to go back!
We used to frequent the restaurant and decided to stop in this weekend. Small portions specially appetizers for the money and quality is hit or miss. There is a cold draft coming into Dining room through the door left ajar at at the wine bar adjoining the restaurant. We kept asking for them to turn up the heat and close the door which fell on deaf ears. Value and quality have have gone down since new owner has taken over.
Great owner who is friendly and accommodating, the food is great and just as important consistent!
Amazing as always! Food is so fresh!
No wonder people travel so far o eat here!
great Persian food - attentive but intrusive staff - well executed dishes. Overall - makes our list for favorite places to go
Wonderful dinner with personal attention from the owner
Shiraz kitchen is such a delightful gem. Service is excellent and they don’t rush you and make outstanding recommendations. Food is delicious.
Alway great and consistent
It is very nice restaurant. The food is delicious and tasty. Service is very good even the restaurant was pretty busy. Is very clean restaurant and everything was excellent. we are going to back again and I recommend to everybody who wish delicious Mediterranean food.
Everything was wonderful, as always. Such a friendly, welcoming place and the food is delicious.
Fresh and tasty food. Service excellent. Will definitely return
cozy, comfortable spot to meet friends from a nearby village --lots to choose from on the menu, delicious dishes and good price points. Appreciate that we can actually have a conversation.
This time we returned to Shiraz with friends--they loved it as much as we did. The Fresh Herb appetizer was unique and tasty--something none of us had ever had before. The Tahdig was delicious as were all the entrees, including the special rices, lamb chops, lamb shank, and chicken. We will definitely be coming back!
The food quality and flavor has dramatically declined since the renovation. This was our only Persian restaurant in westchester, and we were very disappointed that the flavor and service were below expectations.
The restaurant in general is very good however my chicken stew did not have enough chicken
Once Again a great meal at Shiraz. The best salad ever is the Shiraz salad chopped with lemon dressing—yum. THe very tastiest lamb shank-falls off the bone..trout perfectly seasoned and cooked..my friend loves the celery stew..rice is superb with cherries and pistachios.WHat a feast..It never disappoints! the owner is friendly and helpful. Will be back.
The food was filling and worth every penny. They have a whole selection of wine. The ambiance is dim lit but it works well with dinner. This place is one for the books. It was hard to find parking on a Friday night so if you made reservations, try to get there 15 mins before your reservation time.
Shiraz Kitchen is clearly a step up from most quality restaurants in Westchester. It’s a handsome space with attentive service and excellent food. The food and wines are very fairly priced. You leave happy every time.
Food and ambience exceeded our expections. The smoked and fried eggplant was exceptional. The lamb shank was first class.. All of the wait staff were attentive and effiecient. The maitre d. Showed us all around the restaurant the wine bar and the store. WE wll return
Took 20 minutes and requesting 3 times to get the drinks we order served.
Food was not as good as last few times we went.
The waitress herself was wonderful.
Truly deserving of it Bib Gourmand recognition by Michelin, excellent and interesting food with a wonderul wine list. Go.
We had a nice dinner at Shiraz Kitchen on Sunday night. It's a Persian restaurant that a friend whose parent's are from Iran recommended it to us. Interesting cocktails started our meal, followed by one of the salads. My wife had lamb chops and I had Cornish hen. Both were well prepared and very tasty. We shared the baklava with pistachio ice cream dessert. There are lots of dishes on the menu that I am looking forward to trying.
Service was a bit slow but overall experience was wonderful.
