   Such a beautiful space! Cannot believe this is just down the rd. Service was amazing, drinks were so tasty! It was a perfect stop for our team building group tour! Definitely going back!! Thanks so much!

   Honestly loved everything about the atmosphere and the food/drinks were fantastic! My ONLY complaint was that our reservation was for 4 and we didn’t get seated until 4:20 and didn’t get our drinks until about 4:45, and last call was at 5 so we felt a little rushed! That being said - we will still definitely be back, just might try and book earlier next time!

   Took family from out of town to shale ridge for tasting. It was great. It was very busy but staff were pleasant and very apologetic for any delays in service. Had charcuterie and pizza which were great and the perfect thing for our tastings.

    Was very excited to go to Shale Ridge for the first time - my experience wasn’t quite what I hoped. They asked a week in advance if we could move up our reservation 30 minutes, which we were completely fine to do. However, when we got there they had difficulty finding our reservation in the system and then forgot to check us in as many other guests arriving after us were seated before us. Finally we were seated (16 minutes after our reservation time and we had arrived 5 minutes early). They told us our table needed to be bussed still when we arrived. Food and drink were good and great prices. At exactly 90 minutes into our reservation, the hostess (who forgot to seat us) rudely informed us that our table was needed for the next large reservation. We were happy to leave and were just waiting on our bills. Our server Kim was very lovely. It looked like they were in the midst of doing some landscaping outdoors, so the outdoor swing area was a little less aesthetic than I thought it would be since we had a massive dirt/gravel mound beside us. The indoor picture wall for photos is beautiful. It was quite a hot afternoon and our beverages were getting warm from the sun. Could be a nice addition to have some sort of optional sun screen cover on top of the swing tables for those who might want that. Glad I finally visited Shale Ridge, but honestly won’t be rushing back after that experience. Hopeful it was just a tough day for the staff and not ongoing issues - Customer service could use improvement.

    This was my 2nd time. I brought my bridal party there were 4 of us. We had the back corner swing. It was lovely. Breeze was great, it was jam packed full of much younger women getting married hahaha. But we thoroughly enjoyed it. Sean remembered me from the first time which was completely unexpected since you all see so many people. He was funny and apologetic when the internet puked and I had to wait 10mins to pay for my extras. It was a great day. Will definitely be back.

    Went for Mother's Day. Had to pay $26 to reserve the table and even though they are primarily a winery, they do serve food as marketed on their Instagram and website. When we went to order, they were out of pizzas and no charcuteries were available. Drove an hour to get there and was just disappointed.

    Perfect place for a surprise mother's day outing as I did, birthday, bridal party or even just a regular day! Beautiful place! THE SWING SEATS WERE SO BEAUTIFUL! Couldn't stop swinging! Have been raving about this place since we left! Will be returning especially for all the other events on their website

    Shale Ridge is always an amazing experience! The only thing that we found was that the price of the charcuterie board was a bit steep for what was on it. Other than that, everything was delicious, as always.

    Very cute and trendy winery. We sat at the swing tables, a bit uncomfortable after awhile but still enhanced the experience. We tried the mimosas and ciders, all were tasty! We ordered the dill pickle pizza and bruschetta pizza. They were ok, the dill pickle was more flavourful than the bruschetta. All In all, would go back once the outdoor Reno’s are complete!

    The ambiance of the winery was so inviting and fun! The food was a great value and very yummy. All of our drinks were very good! I got some cider to take home! With a glass to put it in :) I was there with some girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. It was a wonder time! Thank you! Hope to be back when the weather is warmer.

    I love Shaleridge, this is my 4th time coming! I booked this place for my birthday well in advance. I was a wee bit sad to see the Mulled Wine was taken off the menu. I didn’t realize it was a seasonal but that is me and my girlfriends’ favourite drink there. Maybe they will see this and hopefully bring it back?! I have bought their wines to make it at home but I was really hoping they had it for my birthday weekend. We ordered the mimosa flights and they were so yummy! Food was great and all in all, it was a tremendous visit.

    This was a great experience. Brought my wife here for a birthday lunch / wine. The service was excellent and much quicker than I expected. The facility was amazing and will be even better once the weather warms. looks like some great outdoor space will be available. Highly recommend.

    It was our first time coming to Shale. We came with a bachelorette party of 8 people. It was an absolutely beautiful place, with awesome staff. The wine and cider were excellent and the charcuterie board was very much enjoyed. We can’t wait to return again!
