Xmas works do. Was brilliant
Absolutely fantastic curry, very quick & friendly service & only 10mins walk to old Trafford... what more could you want!
Very good food served by attentive and friendly staff
Comprehensive and varied menu
Will go again and highly recommended
Super meal with fantastic service
We had an early reservation so we were the only ones in the restaurant.
Service was good as we were the only ones there, the starter came which we thought was brilliant.
After the starter we were expecting a main as good as the starter....how wrong we were!
We had a tikka masala and a Korean which they both tasted exactly the same....revolting! It is the worst curry we have ever had tasting tangy,a little bit like raisins, bordering on being off!
I have given 2 stars because the combo starter was lovely.
We were a little worried on arrival that a table wasn’t available for us despite having booked it days previously. This was soon resolved after waiting for a couple of minutes before being taken to our table, where we had great service, quality and value.
We would return if we ever stay close by again.
Food was excellent and staff were brilliant will definitely be returning
Sorry guys you did your best to correct some issues and our waiter was very pleasant, but I don’t think you seemed to know what a dhansak was as a plate of korma was proffered. Bit suspicious when told that the dhansak already had pineapple in it!?They did change it for something else which was passable but there was not a lot of meat in my Jalfrezi or my wife’s dish.
Had much better many times in many different places.
Won’t rush back sorry to say.
Ok if you just want a functional meal. Food not bad. Service not great.
Lovely place for a curry. Very fast service. Lovely staff yummy food.
We thought the service was terrible the waiter/manager was so ignorant, wasn't made to feel welcome at all was more interested in a match that was ended and getting the custom from them rather than a booked table from a local, food was nice/okay but even when being given that the waiter didn't even ask who's was who's curry and just slammed them down on the table, chips portion size was very poor for the price, we sat waiting to be asked do we want the bill after we'd finished and dishes had been taken away so ended up getting up ourselves and going to the bar to pay then was stood there for 10-15mins whilst the Manager had he's back to us to busy looking what other tables had on there bills then finally turned round and still said 2 mins.. VERY VERY POOR AND RUDE SERVICE AND WOULDN'T RETURN EVEN IF IT WAS FOR FREE!!!
Food was absolutely amazing, my first time there and will definitely be coming back. The service was a little slow considering it was quiet but excellent value for money and will deffo recommend!
Requested to sit in a booth , told us they are only for parties with 6+ with attitude , the place was dead and they had 5 booths empty.
They rush you to take your order and the place doesnt have an atmosphere, im suprised they are still open.
We ended up walking out.
Would not come here again.
Very nice food was amazing staff was brilliant highly recommend
Wonderful curry! Great location and the ambiance is lovely.
Food was lovely and proce was brilliant for the portions you get
Over 90 minutes from arriving to receiving our main courses. During that time we had to flag someone down to order a second round of drinks. It didn’t seem particularly busy.
Food was faultless and service was good just a little slow and considering not very busy was only concern
The car park is a nightmare if you’re not into mobile phone Apps or technology; you can’t just ‘pay & display’. You have to pay for your parking upfront via a mobile App or online.
The ambience and service was good. The accompaniments were spot on but unfortunately my chicken dish was disappointing; the chicken seemed ‘old’ as if it had been sat for a while and dried out then put into a sauce. Edible but not appetising - we don’t tend to complain in restaurants so just left half of it. My first choice of lamb was off the menu.
Not sure we’ll bother again.
We arrived on time for our booking of 20:45. We were not seated on time because other people who were there before us were being seated. We eventually ordered our starter at 9. We had our main at 10 and that took ages. Me and my Dad were close to leaving
Dear CleonyB, Thank you for your perspective. You booked your table just 20 minutes before 8.45pm and you were seated within 5 minutes, though it was a very short notice PARTICULARLY on a match day. Please bear in mind,First it was a MATCH DAY and 2nd we make food to order, it is always fresh and that's What makes us unique,On top manager personally looked after you and your father by giving some discount, still your feedback IS IMPORTANT to us and we will do our best to get our services better.
Eight of us has an excellent meal in pleasant surroundings
The food was amazing, the staff welcoming and friendly, and the experience was fabulous
Excellent food was very busy,we had chicken chat for starter and butter chicken for the main with rice garlic nan
Starters good and Nan (plain) was a generous size.
My karahi was a bit too spicy for my taste, and I suffered for it later.
Visited on a Saturday evening with a party of 4.
Food was excellent and the service was good.
The restaurant was very nearly empty, with only a few table taken. Our hotel was in Media City, which was also like a ghost town - I imagine weekends are always pretty quiet.
It did provide very good value for money though and we all enjoyed our meal.
Excellent food every time. Friendly staff. Excellent service.
We went here last minute as travelled from Leicester for a concert and were staying in a hotel over the road. I have a food poisening phobia so usually take ages reading reviews before going anywhere to eat. This place is spotless, the food was hot and delicious and the service was fabulous!thank you
Staying at the Holiday Inn Express this was a perfect location for a meal. Attentive staff and gorgeous food. Different things to try on the menu that I've never had before. Very reasonable price. Would go again if in the area.
I was here just after it opened for the evening so it was very quiet. the service and food were both great. I had the Jalfrezi and a chilli naan, with Bombay aloo. All of it was freshly cooked and spicy. which i prefer.
other diners did arrive as i was finishing, so I guess it's more popular than i first thought.
i have tried a few Indian restaurants around Media City where i stay, and this is by far the best.
First time going and would definitely return. Food was lovely and tasty. Had a kids menu aswell which was good for my fussy eater kids. The staff were lovely aslo. We went about 5pm so it was nice and quiet and not to busy
When we arrived our table was not ready, so they took their time to move the tables together and then eventually we were sat. The staff tried to take our order 5 minutes into us sitting down, we didn't even have time to look at the menu.
when we did order it took 1 hour and 15 mins for our food to arrive. The food was really good and tasty. It is just a shame that the service was so poor, they where not busy and had plenty of staff, so I am not sure.
I am quite disappointed to be honest, I had been looking forward to trying this place for a while.
We were a family of six heading for dinner at Sashi Masala, all unexperienced with Indian cuisine and some of us reluctant with spicy meals. The staff carefully listens to our expectations and fears, and offered us a dinner we are not likely to forget. Cuisine was delicious, as mild as possible. We were even offered complementary yoghurt to deal with spicy side meals. It was a delightful experience for our family!
Food was delightful, fresh flavours, worth savoring. It was so nice we took our left overs in a 'doggy bag'. Not somthing we usually do but on this occasion one of my brighter decisions!!
Fab u lous. Been a lot with group of friends and also as a couple. Great ambiance great food happy welcoming staff. Brilliant. Easy access via tram. Not overpriced . Recommend 100%
A group of 7 enjoyed a wonderful meal with the usual high quality of food and service. The only reason ambience and overall were given four stars instead of the usual five, was the two fluorescent strips above our table which flashed distractedly all evening.
Nice restaurant with a good service level and great food
Service was very slow , we arrived at 6.10pm was seated straight away yet our meal didn’t arrive till 7.25
We had a great time here. The food was superb and the staff were very friendly and professional. Special thanks to Haslif.
Great Palak Paneer and butter chicken. We would ask for spicier butter chicken next round. Lamb shish kebab was also flavourful and one could taste grilled lamb. Strange that the drinks server could not take food orders as well. It was a while till we could order our food. Garlic naan could be more tender. Thanks for comforting Indian food overall!
Excellent food every time. Very prompt and friendly service.
