Sette

This is our second time here this time with our girls. We came on sunday, there was great live holiday music. The ambiance and food is always good here... we chose different variety of food like salmon sashimi, sea bass, soup, sweet potato wrap and spaghetti of course and it was superb!!! Definetely will go again❤️

The entire experience goes above and beyond expectations. Wonderful welcome with a team who is simply beyond excellent. To say the food, the service, and atmosphere are good - is a complete understatement.
The Sunday brunch is one of the best I have experienced in London - simply because it felt flawless.
We did not want to leave - especially with the live music and singer on entering. Vi ringrazio tanto. Thank you so much for being an amazingly warm team at Sette and for making our Sunday brunch so , so memorable. Can’t wait to come back.

Very good food and very good service, I would recommend to anyone.

The food was excellent, as usual. The problem however was with the wearing of clear plastic visors rather than masks by the waiters. To be of use they need to be worn correctly, ie down and close to the face. Some of the staff, including the Maitre D’ had the visors pushed too far back on the top of the head, therefore giving no protection to diners sitting below. This needs to be addressed.
Also, other patrons need to to be requested to follow masking rules when leaving their tables.
Please pass these comments to the restaurant.

had high expectations...and while the staff was perfect, the food was mediocre. had the black cod which was a bit off and resulted in an unpleasant situation the next day. the polenta was outstanding.

The fixed price menu was great value - the food and service was just wonderful. We will go again and try different things. Very nice setting, very quiet as it was a mid-week very rainy lunchtime. The waitress explained everything in good details and gave us the right level of attention.

Average food at very over inflated prices. Small portions and nothing exceptional. Had better food in my local Italian. You are paying a hefty premium for eating in the Bulgari Hotel/

Medium well steak was so dry and hard. Service was all right but very slow. Nice and spacious.

Attentive servers. The menu needs to be explained to non Italian speakers.

Very nice restaurant though we had to ask twice for the opentable menu which was good value.

Lovely meal with the shared Sunday menu. 13 dishes for us all to try. Good variety. Some interesting pasta that you don't see everywhere, like agnolotti and scialatielli

Sette was virtually empty at 1.30pm for Sunday lunch. Even quieter than when we went there for Saturday lunch before Xmas. A great pity because most of the food that comes out of the kitchen is very good.
The a la carte menu is reasonably priced for the location. The prix fixe menus are very well priced.
One gripe....we were charged £15.75 (including service) for 2 bottles of Pellegrino!
This is daylight robbery - it costs 66p a bottle at our local supermarket.

DON'T BOTHER. This restaurant is the epitome of hotel dining where the captive audience lets them gouge the customer and provide less. The tasting menu had potential on the page but it never really delivered with the exception of a few dishes. The appetizers were ridiculously sized, the carpaccio was a huge plate of overdressed, messy, beige shavings and the crab option was served in a small crab leg which turned out to be one bite. Loosely piled bits of crab with pomegranate seeds underneath in the narrow shell making it impossible to have a composed bite without dumping the crab shell contents into the fork. Inconsistencies went from there. The best dishes were the foie gras crostini amuse bouche and the Christmas pudding. The service was fine, just be prepared to ask for your water glasses to be refilled.

This was really disappointing as it was Christmas Eve dinner.

Service was first class. Attentive but not rushed or in your face.
Food was outstanding.
And ambience is 1st class fine dining but relaxed.

I had a lovely time at Sette, the staff were so attentive and the atmosphere is glorious it’s a great place for a special occasion. The team were great and made my husband’s birthday extra special! I’ll definitely be back!

Outstanding food, service and decor. Would highly recommend the Sunday “taste the whole menu” for 4 people. £30 each, 5 courses! So delicious and varied, shows off the chef’s range and talent. Can’t say enough, will go back again for sure!

This was a treat for my other half. We went during the London food week in October (2019) and had there set food week menu with associated wine pairings. This was 5 courses including an extra starter over their normal Sunday tasting menu. Every course was exquisite and our serve Luca was wonderful and kept us both entertained and informed as to what was being served and how the wines interacted with each of the courses.

The portion sizes were fantastic, no skimping on the amount of food which is great, and actually I'd almost say there was slightly too much as we were struggling to finish dessert off. After commenting about quality of the sorbet our server said that he could get us some extra sorbet to try. We were expecting a small amount to just taste, but he came back with a whole plate all presented as if we had ordered it off the menu (and we weren't charged for it).

My only reservation was that the bottled water was a little pricey, so I would recommend you just ask for tap water. I would also suggest not booking anything afterwards. We spent nearly 3 hours there and had somewhere to go afterwards so had to semi rush at the end which ruined the experience a little (not the restaurants fault) so make sure you give yourself the best chance to enjoy it by giving yourselves plenty of time t o enjoy all the food.

What a find! Lovely ambience, great lighting (for all of those on dates), a very stylish bar area for pre-dinner drinks. First class service delivered by handsome italian waiters, and then the food! We had the set menu which was excellent value... each course was delicious, the desserts were amazing so save some room for those... and it was my friends birthday so they gave her a candle & made her plate especially pretty. I'll definitely be returning and recommending Sette to my friends xxx

The chicken breast was dry. Whatever other things they did very well that day, chicken breast was dry. Not easy to get right, but truly a notch on the shoulder if they can.

They did do a lot of things well. Good variety of food on show.

The sharing menu at £30pp is, whilst not cheap, good value! Not only did we get to try a lot of different dishes, but it's a lot of food! And they spaced out the timings really well, so we had good time to chat, eat, digest, eat some more, chat, and have a very jovial time. We were there for about 3 hours all together!

I really liked that they are showcasing some of the lesser known pasta, in this case agnolotti and scialatielli. Always happy to try something new!

The dinner experience at Sette was fantastic. This is the 3rd or 4th time that I have been to Sette and it always impresses.

The lamb was outstanding and so was the pasta! To add to this it was a great night with wonderful ambiance and potentially the best service I’ve experienced in London.

Highly recommend. The food is sensational. Excellent wine list. Service is exceptional.

Really enjoyed our first visit to Sette.
Greeted with a smile. Shown to the table with a smile. Served with a smile. In other words, top notch service.
Food was well prepared, tasted great and at £29 for a 3 course lunch, was very good value.
Very little ambience - not surprising as the restaurant is fairly new and there’s virtually no passing footfall. I’m sure it will get busier as word spreads.
Only downside? The coffee was really poor - not good enough for an Italian restaurant

We loved every dish. But the best was the tuna roll. Definitely would recommend it to seafood lovers.

The service was amazing, very friendly staff who made sure we were happy with everything from the second we walked into the door. Food was lovely and well presented

the service and ambiance are very good but the food was strictly ok.

Food was excellent and I mean EXCELLENT, the service less great.

Specific problems with service:

1) waiters forgot trivial things (like bottle of coke) that we asked for, and needed to be reminded about it
2) on two different occasions, two separate waiters had trouble “describing” the dish - this is problematic esp. since the food was so great
3) Service was also pretty slow at times for trivial things like tea...

Good value

Gorgeous food, nice atmosphere, over priced for what it was. To be expected in Knightsbridge though!

Amazing food, amazing service and I will be for sure revisiting this restaurant
