   Fantastic Mother's Day High Tea experience - awesome food, service and the best location and atmosphere ever! We met the owner George by chance in the foyer afterwards and he offered to show us one of the cabins, which was marvellous (both the offer, which we accepted, and the cabin!)

   Thanks David for your brilliant review! George and I are very pleased you enjoyed Mother's Day lunch at our place. Secrets on the Lake is George's passion and he really enjoys showing our visitors our beautiful treehouses and in particular our waterfall at the back of Secrets our premium penthouse.    We love secrets on the lake, but we came for the mother’s day high tea, we were just shown a table and then sat there for 15 minutes unsure of what to do. We called a waitress over and asked about ordering drinks to which she took our order. The Food was lovely but for $75pp it wasn’t quite what we were excepting.

   Hello Terri Thank you for letting us know. I imagine that the restaurant was really busy and staff were really running. Hence the wait. As for our Ultimate High Tea the difference between it and our Classic High Tea is that we not only serve a pot of tea or your choice of coffee we also serve a glass of wine and an extra coffee as well as additional petitfors etc. Our High tea is based on the traditional high tea with several savoury and hot options as well as the scones and petitfors. I note some other places serve a lot of deep fried food with theirs. We have tried to make it substantial without being overly sweet afternoon tea or morning tea options.    This was the most perfect setting for a fabulous lunch celebration . Our group of 5 enjoyed a variety of entrees main desserts drinks together with the rain made a wonderful atmosphere. The food was divine thoroughly delicious and staff very attentive. We will certainly return again and thank you Secrets for an awesome day

   I took my mother to Secrets on the Lake for an Early mother's day Petite Plate as a special treat. As we are both coeliac, we preordered our petite plate as gluten free. We were absolutely delighted with our coffee and treats along with the ambiance and service! Such a beautiful oasis and a easily doable as a day trip from North Brisbane.    Thank you Sarah for your great review. So pleased you enjoyed the GF Petite Plate. You will notice that most of our meals have GF options. This because I eat GF food and am often disappointed with the lack of choice. I will pass on to the staff your comments about the service they gave you on Mothers Day. This will make them smile.    This place gets better every time. We decided to bring our grandson and they were very impressed. They love nature and this was a great experience for them. Keep up the great work. I once worked there and loved the atmosphere and people. Cheers

   Such a lovely setting sadly the menu is limited and awful. Our food was second rate tasted like old oil on chips and the burger was cooked on a dirty skillet. I wanted a salad but they buy in pre packed cooked chicken. Great to visit once but will not be back. The lovely girl who served us was the highlight she was very welcoming and honest. We drove an hour to pay $60 for below average food.

   This is our second visit with our daughter and son- in - law, and once again cannot speak highly enough of your venue and staff. We all had very well presented and delicious meals. Our compliments to the chef. Your front of house staff are prompt, attentive and courteous. All this in your delightful restaurant with beautiful scenery on a glorious day made our luncheon quite special. Thank you.

    George, Aldi and their friendly and efficient staff at Secrets On The Lake provide a dining wonder (as always). The location, ambience and food (and accomodation) is first class in every sense. We have been going there for 15 years and always look forward to our next visit.
