We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience yesterday. The outlook is beautiful, the high tea was delicious and you had also listened to our dietary needs. Thank you so much. It was a very memorable lunch.

Other than the view the whole experience was below average. Asked for a table outside undercover wasn’t given one. Ordered drinks glass of Merlot and received a glass of white wine I said this wasn’t Merlot and was told I’ll have to check???? Ordered a cheeseboard for $40 and to be honest it was not worth the money. The cheese looked and tasted like it was from a pack bought from Aldis. Supposed to be served with lavosh but instead had cheap water biscuits and the other gourmet variety bout from the super market. There’s was this weird sauce on the platter that I can only describe as tartare sauce tasted of mayo dill and dill pickles??? Didn’t go with the cheese and felt it was only on the board to fill a gap. I’d question that the cheese was from Malaney it just tasted cheap. Service was abrupt and minimal. Would not drive the 2 hour round trip to return here….next time I’ll pack a picnic and have it by the lake myself and save me $70

Booked a table for noon. Was sat so close to the kitchen and service area we could barely hear each other. After 15mins we asked if we could be moved to another table. There were vacant tables. We were told at 12.15pm that the other available tables were booked for 12 noon. Mmm. 12.15pm no show I would think it highly likely they will not be showing. We get moved to a table in a room with no ambience or view, near the door with the suggestion qe could move again if the other booking doesn't show. We had enough. Wait staff attitude was dismissive and disinterested. We live locally and won't be going back. Some training in service wouldn't go astray.

All the staff at Secrets on the Lake made my husband’s birthday lunch a very special occasion! Everything was perfect - our meals were truly delicious and so beautifully presented, our table on the balcony with a glorious outlook, and all the genuinely friendly staff! Heartfelt gratitude to all!!

I can't recommend Secrets on the lake highly enough. The surroundings, service and food were amazing, and the staff friendly and very helpful. If you want to impress someone special, then this is the place.

We love Secrets, we stayed there 25 years ago and wow!! There have been some changes the restaurant was very special with a beautiful view and the food and service was second to none many thanks for a wonderful visit we will always have this as our special place for a stay and a meal❤️
