SeaSalt Henley Beach
Great joint. Chicken Sando is awesome. Relaxed vibe, not a place to go if in a hurry.
Singapore fish wings an absolute stand out with the slaw!!
Amazing location, food, service, not cheap but good value!
The staff and service are great and friendly!
The food is good, just a bit too fat (very oily)
Friendly , welcoming, casual -and food is divine !
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere by Troy and the team!
Enjoyed the taster menu on a Saturday lunchtime. For $48 dollars a head we had two appetisers which were outstanding, steak tartare, salt and pepper squid and then a small fish and chips. Tremendous value and everything delicious. Washed down with two glasses of rose. We sat outside. amongst people enjoying several courses, just fish and chips, or just a beer - some smart, some casual, some with dogs - really good atmosphere. Service very good - courses came with regularity.
On a hot (42 degrees) night we sat outside, The food arrive promptly and was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive up until we delivered our order. Getting replacement bottles of wine was difficult as the place was extremely busy. I would definitely go back.
Food always fresh and of the highest quality. Staff are terribly pleasant
Aside from being a great location beach front with all the action, the food is fantastic. Fresh, shareable, tasty. We’ve been twice now - specifically for the anchovy fingers. A must!! Great place.
The service was good. Scallops and octopus really nice. We had the tuna which was very disappointing as mainly all bone, very little meat. $59 for tuna which was not worth it at all.
Fabulous food, friendly and attentive staff, great atmosphere. Gorgeous views over beach.
Really gorgeous, fresh food. A little on the more expensive side, but you could tell you were paying for quality. Lovely service too.
Food was good however came out very quick and ordered prawns which were awesome however very pricey at $28 for 4 prawns. Calamari was excellent.
The service was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and were very knowledgeable on their products. Unfortunately the value for money was not as I expected.
We only booked on the day and had no trouble getting a reservation as the booking system is easy. The restaurant was full and the takeaway area well patronised.
The service was friendly and efficient. Meal portions were large....so you could easily share a main.
Our salad was fresh and tasty and complimented the fish and chips.
The venue is beautiful but the prices for a few options like the octopus were a bit too much. I tried my friends butterfish and it was fantastic and I liked my eel croquettes and tommy ruff sandwich. I just think something about the pricing and options didn't make much sense. The food was still nice.
Great choice of Seafood selection.
Sharing plates were generous, one sharing plate was perfect for three people... Will definitely come back especially when the weather gets warmer.
We were lucky to get a table right at the front on a lovely warm evening as the sun set. The service was excellent and the food delicious. Love those barbecued greens! The wine list was a little thin, but adequate. It was a really enjoyable meal.
Great food and service. Will definitely go back again.
First time diners, were extremely happy with our experience overall and will be back again.
Great location, were taken care of by all staff who were very helpful and friendly. The food was amazingly fresh, quick to come out and very tasty.
Can't wait to try out the rest of the menu.
The service was beyond what we expected. The staff were friendly and always checked in to see how we were going. Management was amazing! Our kids rarely finish or even half finish meals when we go out but they ate everything at Sea Salt! The food was delicious! Will 100% return!
Was such a great place to eat. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. It’s situated in such a great spot. Will definitely be back
Service was disappointing. The waiter found out that we were only dining in for just oysters. After that, the waiter seemed very snobby towards us compare to other diners there.
Love all courses very tasty. Great setting and views
Never had a bad meal there yet. Good wine list- not too exy but remains classy
Always amazing food and service! We are regulars here for this reason.
My only comment would be that it isn’t clear that the ‘bigger’ items on the menu come with nothing. I expected something else on the plate (side salad or some greens). When it came out i wished I’d ordered a salad or something to go with it. It was not mentioned when I placed my order either.
And definitely needed aoli or something with the squid. Was so lovely but needed something to take away the dryness of the salt and chilli.
Will still be back!
Great ambience and location but food just isn’t good enough for the price
Or enough the squid is not enough for a main course
Troy was fantastic as was the food.
Service was incredible and knowledgeable. Wine terrific.
A real big thanks for looking after us really making an evening out extra special.
Went to Sea Salt with a group of friends for a birthday celebration dinner. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful (as there were diet restrictions for one) and fun (played happy birthday music in background while a piece of tart was brought out with a candle). Very happy with food, service and price. Will definitely go back.
Lovely place that offers consistently well prepared meals partnered with great customer service
It was closed and you kept confirming the booking.
We first dined with our overseas visitors at sea salt one year ago and had such a great meal it was the first place they wanted to visit again this year. Everything was just as we remembered - outstanding food and wine, knowledgeable friendly, helpful manager who spent time with us. Great to see the very high standards have been maintained and improved upon with some new menu choices. We ordered double ortez anchovy fingers, ploughed our way through the amazing and generous tasting plates and drank exceptional wines. A fabulous and relaxed environment in a great beach setting. Will always recommend this as one of adelaide’s Finest offerings. Keep up the magic! We will be back...
was too expensive
was touted to be tapas style - but the taps was at "main's" prices.
had the price reflected the tapas portion size - then we might frequent the place.
Instead I'm left with another gouging experience where restaurants expect customers to sucker up and pay through the nose for very little - which is a trend within the Australian eating out scene.
for the restaurant prepared to break this business model - they would do very well. I for one won't be returning anytime soon - as it translated to nibbles and fish and chips for $86, which I'm less and less prepared to put up these days.
Pretty disappointed to be told that the kitchen wouldn’t swap chips out for a side salad and that I’d have to buy that in addition to the meal... so I paid $28 for grilled butterfish and then $8 or $9 for a salad on top of that. Location is lovely, just not quite service meeting the demand for anyone wanting a healthier dinner option. Wouldn’t be rushing back.
Food and Service was outstanding, a great little venue!
Overpriced for the portion sizes - taking the 'sangas' for an example... Given this dish is priced at over $20, you would at least expect to have a side of chips or something with it. The bread wasn't even toasted, and it wasn't super gourmet so just the sandwich alone was a let down. Fries cost next to nothing, so simply adding this, even to the salt & pepper squid dish would have made it more worth while. The only thing I would recommend is the Fish burger (at least this comes with a side of fries). Most likely wont return - the food didn't even touch the sides - left hungry still - very underwhelming.
Great location, good food and pleasant, efficient service.
