Nestled in the heart of the hotel, Gallery offers a relaxed yet refined setting to enjoy a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and preserves, and an array of beautifully crafted pastries. Served alongside an exceptional choice of teas and Champagne, it’s the perfect occasion to indulge in one of The Savoy’s most cherished rituals. Important Dining Information: The experience lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes. A credit card is required to secure your booking, though no payment will be taken in advance. Prices start from £90 per person and a discretionary 15% service charge will be added to your final bill. Menus and prices are subject to change. Please inform us of any dietary requirements or special occasions ahead of your visit. Cancellations require 48 hours’ notice; otherwise, a £90 per-person fee will apply for late cancellations or no-shows.

    This was our very first visit to the Savoy hotel, we celebrated our wedding anniversary on the 19th of June. From greeting us at the door, reception staff, dining staff were all welcoming and made our day Special. The dining staff congratulated us for our wedding anniversary and made my husband & I feel special and welcomed. The afternoon tea was perfect, delicious & beautifully presented. We had champange which made the afternoon tea devine. A big thank you to all the staff at the Gallery & Savoy hotel.

    Having always wanted to have afternoon tea at the Savoy it was a dream come true . Everything from the food to the staff was amazing

    Our group of three enjoyed the premier high tea with the Signature Cocktail. The concoction of the cocktail really wasn’t enjoyable at all, and it became the focus of our conversation and therefore took away from the experience. Would have been preferable to have option of another champagne or perhaps the choice of a simple cocktail rather than throwing in the scone mix. It really wasn’t quite disgusting.

    Such a wonderful experience, this was a special girls day out and The Savoy certainly made us feel special and exceeded all my expectations. I would definitely do this again! Well worth the money.

    We had a wonderful afternoon tea on Wednesday. We were seated between two tables where they too were celebrating 70th birthdays. Special year 1956! The simple touch of a Happy Birthday plate with candle on cake topped our experience.

    What an amazing experience, had afternoon tea with my good friend for her 50th birthday My friend cannot transfer from her wheelchair. The staff were just amazing. Everything flowed perfectly. The ambience was brilliant, great staff great food great special 50th afternoon tea The disabled toilets according to my friend had been brilliantly laid out, she felt a wheelchair person had helped Design the toilets as they were so good

    We were rather disappointed in our recent afternoon tea experience at The Savoy. Whilst staff were engaging and efficient, service was somewhat brisk to the point that the bill had been presented and settled within the hour. The savoury elements were adequate but not outstanding and we were not offered additional sandwiches, as is usual practice in other establishments. The sweet offerings, again perfectly acceptable but not exquisite. I’d have expected different textures perhaps a little choux and a meringue amongst the cake-based delicacies. Overall, ‘production line’ springs to mind which falls short when hoping to make memories.

    It was such a classy experience from beginning to end. Staff were exceptional and the sandwiches were so tasty, particularly cakes and scones lovely too. I really fancy experience.
