It was ok. Could have been better , just was cold of course.
They were having a difficult night because of the pandemic and the cold. I imagine it wasn’t typical for them.
You should let me know the setting was outdoors. It was extreme cold and heating was almost nothing.
We appreciate all that the servers did to make us comfortable eating in a heated tent outside on a cold, rainy night. Not an easy situation. Food was delicious.
I will preface this review that all restaurant dining in Maryland is outdoor.
The eating "canopy" is required to be open on one end. Our server was outstanding for the entire meal. We were the only people in the restaurant and she took us to the very end of the canopy where the heater entered the tent. She also pointed two other space heaters at us for the duration of the meal. The food was overpriced, but the meat was delicious. The sides were lukewarm. I don't know that I would pay this much again for this restaurant, I'd rather go to one of the nearby fine dining establishments.
We only had drinks. The restaurant was very, very empty. They were decorating for Christmas
Awesome as always!!
We had the whole place to ourselves. Everything we orders was great and made to order. If you’re out in the National Harbor and are looking for a quiet place to eat and enjoy please consider this place.
Birthday Brunch
Very nice atmosphere overlooking harbor. Loved the bananas foster French toast.
Sauceity was the only available restaurant at the harbor for breakfast on Sunday to celebrate my parents 54th wedding anniversary. It was a good choice. The food and dessert were both good. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. My parents enjoyed their meals as well. They were surprised with a Chocolate Mousse dessert that was tasty and I don't even like chocolate.
There were seven of us and we would have preferred to sit together. However, we were told the largest table could be six and they would not add a chair to the open end of the table. It eventually worked out due to the casual setting.
I would recommend this restaurant and I would return.
Food was sub-par. Find somewhere else to eat. Deviled eggs were soft and runny ... presentation was nonchalant. Our waitress mumbled behind her mask ... awkward interactions. Sadly , I Wasn’t impressed
Sometimes I'm a little wary of restaurants that reside in hotels, but Sauciety exceeded my expectations. My wife and I went here for our anniversary. Nice set up with high ceilings and window walls. They've got a nice view of the dock and Ferris wheel. It was a quiet and intimate Sunday night.
I ordered the fillet mignon and it was the one of the best I've ever had. Sometimes I find fillet mignon less flavorful than rib-eye since it is not as marbled, but that was not the case here. It was, rich, tasty and cooked just right - medium rare. My wife ordered the crab cakes and was pleased with her dish as well. The meal was topped off with a chocolate mouse cake - tremendous.
Waited for drinks and food for a while, longer than you would expect ordinarily.
Area was very humid, and the food was just ok, nothing that would make me come
Back again
For a Wednesday during a pandemic there were only two other couples dining there, so we were plenty socially distanced. Pleasantly surprised as the portions were generous. It was a nice experience and I'd go back.
The service and the food was not good at all. I thank the manager for trying to assist us near the end, but I will not go back. I heard such great things but I guess COVID has really change the dynamics.
Quiet atmosphere. Great service. Beautiful view. Good food. We had a nice evening out visiting with friends from out-of-state. Other places were booked so we thought we had settled for this reservation, but it exceeded expectations and was the perfect place to catch up with old friends!
Soo happy we found this place. My friend and I really wanted to eat outside and have a great view by the water, but almost all of the places were booked. I quickly made a reservation with this app and it all worked out! Food was amazing, nice drinks, and a beautiful view of the harbor! Will be coming again.
Fun brunch with family, and great setting overlooking the water!! The food was great, only a short wait to be seated, menu had good variety, nice server and responsible social distancing.
Most horrible brunch experience! My daughters and I made a reservation and when we arrived it seemed unorganized. We were seated pretty quickly and the hostess was friendly. However, 3 different people came by to take our drink order, but yet it took 15 minutes to het 2 waters and an OJ. We then waited 20 minutes before I stopped yet another person to say we havent yet ordered. It didnt seem like the wait staff was assigned to sections as they were just randomly running around and forgetting tables left and right. The food came out pretty quick after we finally ordered, but we had to ask for silverware and a water refill. And of course it took forever to pay the bill. I do NoT recommend this place at all.
I was excited to return here, however this experience was the most disappointing ever. It took the host over 15 minutes to even check us in. We waited at least 15 minuures before anyone came to even ask for our drink order, then we ordered appetizers which came out cold after waiting 30 minutes for those. The entrees came out before the remake of the appetizers. The collard greens had WAY to much pepper sauce in them that I had to return them. The server didn't ask if I wanted something else, so I didn't have AN entree at all. Not sure if this is a Covid impact or if their quality of service and food have decreased.
Acceptable under the new normal COVID circumstances.
This was a great brunch. Because it's away from the crowds, it's a perfect socially distant outing. And a premium location because it's right on the water. Food was great and service was fantastic.
There was only one person working the entire area. She did the best she could but it was too much. The chairs sit way too low for the tables they have in the bar area.
I stayed at the Westin and has breakfast at Sauciety. Though I was seated immediately, the service was really slow. It took forever for my food to come. When the food arrived the bacon was burned and the food was lukewarm.
I ordered the Beef Tips for brunch and they were awful! Very chewy and full of fat.
We made a reservation but were never assisted with that. A server saw us waiting after 10 minutes and just pointed us to a table. Food came out quickly and very hot which was nice. No AC was on in the restaurant and they had the door open to the outside patio so it was very hot inside on an already hot and humid day. Appeared to be short staffed.
breakfast was nice. I enjoyed the food and service.
Absolutely TERRIBLE!!! got off the elevator to a awkward lounge space I had a reservation and the people were not even asking me why I was there the place was a mess looked like an IHOP nothing luxurious will not be coming back not worth it, no one helped us there was no air conditioning, it was ghetto and the guest were so .... kids everywhere don’t go
Loved the outdoor seating area, great view of Potomac river
The food was good.
The CREAM of crab soup was watery, too much cesaer dressing on the salad. The wings and chicken in the cesaer salad was dry. In addition, the chicken quesadilla chicken was not appealing with the wrap and the chicken was also dry. We were seated at the large table by the kitchen and you could smell the carpet. It did not appear that a proper cleaning of the restaurant area was conducted before re-opening (not sure if they even closed at all). I won't be back.
Service from staff was AWFUL!
When paying for the check , it seems that only one person knew how to process multiple payment on one check
Really enjoyed this place. Went for Lunch and then returned later to take in the Happy Hour. The restaurant provides great views, and the food is excellent. The staff was quite pleasant as well. The Teramisu is to die for, oh and the crab soup is excellent too.
Great location perfect view of the harbor. It’s my new go to brunch spot.
overprice and underwhelming....... not worth the effort to walk down the stairs.
It took us a total of 2.5 hours to get food. The waiter wasn't very good and was too curt with us when asking about menu questions. There was a limited number of waiting staff. The food wasn't great quality and I had been a patron of the establishment before to which the service was stellar. I can tell you that I will not be a patron of this establishment in the coming future.
Flavorless food. Empty glasses more than half than time. Server seemed to have an attitude.
