Family owned Sarabah Estate Vineyard and farm to table restaurant is located in the rolling hills of the Scenic Rim. Our winery is only 40 minutes from the Gold Coast and 1 hour from Brisbane, making a great road trip excuse for restaurant-style indoor dining or coffee and brunch in The Secret Garden. We celebrate the fresh produce of our region by serving you "The Best Steak in the Scenic Rim", our signature Black Onyx Prime Steak ( Marble score 5). Wine tastings are happening every 30 minutes, the wood-fired pizza oven is baking fresh pizzas or bread and the cellar door and gift shop are open for shopping.
Meet the alpacas and farm animals, grab a glass of red and wander the vines. Try the "Best Sparkling in the Region" our award-winning Brut Sparkling.

    Lovely afternoon with Robert the chef , Paula who looked after our wine tasting . Good wines that we took a few bottles away with us. Will definitely be back for the Sunday afternoon with love music. A perfect atmosphere for a drink and pizza in the very pretty olive grove.

    Disappointed so many items were unavailable, both wines we choose not available, no pineapple juice, no sauce for wedges, received wrong food… given a complimentary cheese board as it was part of “wrong food” and was charged upon check out. Nice venue. Pretty grounds, tables were unstable.

    Located in a lovely setting and the food was excellent however so much more could be done with the outside. It needs a tidy up of bits and pieces of junk and the fire pit is filled with empty pizza boxes. If they built a deck with umbrellas, I think they would get a lot more customers. I imagine eating outside at night would be quite atmospheric with the lights strung up and the fire pit.

    Definitely a must-visit place if you’re in Canungra! Loved the ambiance and the food is really good (one of the best pizza & cheese platter I’ve had in my life. The seafood lasagne was also amazing)! Special shoutout to Paula for the excellent service!!! Super friendly and helpful. Love her!

    Went there for a special birthday .. had a booking .. they didn’t have the decency to let us know prior that they didn’t have any white wine or sparkling available !!!!! Very very disappointing.. whole bistro needs a massive facelift !!! Service was appalling !! Food average … ambience zero ..

    Loved our visit to Sarabah Estate. The staff were lovely and took the time to tell us about the Estate and history. The meals were delicious and paired perfectly with wine. The smoked butter and sourdough was my favourite. The atmosphere was amazing. We loved everything about the place. Will definitely visit again next time we are up that way.

    This is our third visit, our friends first. We came down as a group on our way to a wedding weekend. We started with the wine tasting and then enjoyed lunch in the vineyard. Everyone enjoyed it, food was great and David was fantastic with a twist on your traditional wine tasting. We do many of these tastings but the knowledge and discovery of the tastebuds with the food was excellent.

    Fantastic lunch with perfectly timed courses allowed us to chill in between and explore the relaxing environment. Unlike many previous experiences the family loved the wine tasting experience given with incredible knowledge and fun. Thank you Sarabah.

    The food and location was lovely, but our overall experience was let down by poor service. It’s Nice for lunch but if you’re hoping to celebrate an important day or occasion, then this vineyard will fall short.

    Our table was completely ignored. After 20min of wait we went back in to ask for our order. We would have gone for a second round (as the wine we had was beautiful) but no one came to take the order so we left

    We were here for lunch and to share the whole experience with close friends. The drive to/from is part of the experience. Service was even better than our previous visits. Food & wine were good. Dining room set the mood. We will be back again

    My visit to Sarabah Estate Vineyard was simply delightful. The beautiful atmosphere, friendly service, and lovely wine tasting made for a memorable experience. The wood-fired pizza was truly amazing, with a quality base and delicious toppings. I highly recommend a visit to this vineyard for a relaxing and enjoyable day surrounded by nature, exquisite wines, and mouthwatering food.

    We loved absolutely everything about this place! The Bistro area is so elegant and modern, the pizza area is so cool, there isn't an area in the whole estate that I wouldn't be happy to be seated. The food on the Mother's Day set menu was just delicious. Every part of the menu had been expertly curated and presented. The wine I tried was amazing and the staff were so attentive and warm. We will be back again and again ✌️

    We stayed locally and had a lovely Anniversary lunch here. The food was lovely. The service was great in the beginning and then we were forgotten. They were busy setting up for Mothers Day lunch the next day.

    Lovely part of the world. My husband and I had dined here several months ago. We were really looking forward to our return visit. The food was not nearly as good, the waitress was lovely but perhaps she had not received much training. Could the place being for sale have something to do with it? Hopefully the new owner will turn it around!

    We were very disappointed with the food. Our mains were $38 and $42 but we had overcooked, under-seasoned meals. The pork belly had rubbery skin that could not be cut through. The duck was overcooked, and was served with risotto that was actually just overcooked, gluey rice. The location was lovely and the service was fine, although it was clear the waiter knew the food was not good. When we were finished he simply asked if he could clear the plates, rather than asking how our meals were. We would not eat here again.

    Extremely disappointing not to have been told that the restaurant menu was not available on the day I had booked. Particularly as we did not find out until we arrived at the restaurant full of expectation after being recommended to go there by a friend. It was meant to be our Christmas meal so I had intended that the shared occasion with my brother and his wife be special.

    Fantastic Boutique winery, from the minute we arrived the staff were so friendly and attentive, we sat outside where there was live music (great solo artist) the vibe was relaxing and chilled. the food was fantastic , authentic pizzas and I highly recommend the truffle baked brie and the spanner crab lasagna, we will defiantly be back for lunch again. just a great place for a chilled lunch on the weekend. don't forget the wine tasting , they had some lovely wines and all came with a great story :)

    Beautiful place. Food was excellent as were the wines. Staff at the pizza oven were chatty and professional. Met the owners, they were so welcoming. The only down side of our visit was the experience with the restaurant waiters. When we first arrived there was a waiter in the reception area, he was clearly doing something on the ipad for another guest, but didn't even acknowledge our presence for several minutes which created an awkward start to the visit. He seemed annoyed at something. Once seated we were served by another waiter, he also seemed annoyed, wasn't at all friendly, had to look at notes of what the specials were, took drinks orders from only half of our party and ignored the rest so they had to ask twice, and generally made us feel uncomfortable. When visiting the ladies bathroom I got chatting with another guest who asked what I thought of Sarabah as it was our first visit. I said it was lovely. She mentioned she had been before and had great service previously but was appalled by the service from the waiters this time. It was at this point I opened up about our experience, I had not previously wanted to say anything negative, but we were both in agreement on the waiter service being disappointing.

    My husband and I really enjoyed our day at the estate. We had the duck and the pork belly, both were delicious and we couldn't resist a take home pizza for dinner. We will definitely be back to try a few more meals on the menu. The staff are friendly and professional. A great day out in beautiful surroundings.
