Best brisket I have had at a restaurant yet. We got a share platter between 3 of us and we all agreed this was the best bbq we have eaten at a restaurant yet. Staff friendly atmosphere great cannot recommend enough

The ribs were smoked and lost much of its juices. We were a little disappointed but the Smokey platter was still delicious.

Services of the waitresses were Fantastic but the guy at the door was not too helpful when we went back to get our parking ticket validated after leaving the place for 15mins. Hopefully could give this guy some feedback.

Couldn’t recommend this place high enough. The staff are exceptional and we met the manager aswell. Couldn’t find a better person to run the store. His attitude was faultless and to see him out working just as hard as his workers was a real credit to the business and him.

Cool American atmosphere. Casual and relaxed. Great for meat lovers. Our group of two families enjoyed everything we ate. Loved the brisket, ribs, fried chicken, drummettes, onion rings, great fries and cocktail jugs.

Food great, service was shocking. For a table of 9 to practically beg for service was pathetic. We were given a bill before we’d even ordered mains and the waitress was annoyed that we had more food to order. She then refused to return and after waving my arms around one of the four staff pointedly ignoring us finally came over. Jugs of coke took 30 minutes to arrive every time. I wish I could contact the restaurant directly but they seem to hide behind being within the Crown complex.

Pork ribs & beef brisket were tender but very dry. Fried chicken was extremely salty. Overall, food was passable but over-priced.

Also, I ordered the Bulleit bourbon. Menu price $10.50. Charged $11.50. Raised this when paying. Waitress went to speak to the manager & was told the menu was printed wrong. Asked if it was ok to proceed with the bill as is. As there was only a $1 difference, I said proceed but surely any respectable business, especially one at Crown would have adjusted immediately

Truly wonderful tasting food. Loved the flavours. Meat servings could have been a little bigger. Sides were fine - just the meat servings - which was really the main reason we went. Staff were attentive whilst not overbearing. They did a great job. Over all recommended.

The food here is great and comes at a decent price for American style BBQ. The service was woeful. From the disinterested maître d’ who showed us to our table and then was never seen again to the team of waitress’s who pretty much ignored us. When our food had been at our table for 10 minutes we had to ask where our first and only drinks were and then were never asked if we’d like another. No one even swung past to ask if everything was ok. Even getting the bill was hard work. Worst crew ever.

Service greeting was lovely. Food was good but unfortunately the ribs were a little dry on one end of it but still lovely to eat. The main issue was the service. It took a while to come and ask us for our order, we actually had to make eye contact. When finished no one came to see if we wanted anything else or clear our table. Had to ask for the menu to order desert, the person dropped the menu off, table still not cleared. We again had to make eye contact in order to get desert

Felt rushed and server was not friendly at all.
The person who greeted us at the door was friendly and energetic.
There was no real communication regarding the food ect especially as we hadn’t eaten there before. Very overrated place. Meat was tender but dry. Side dishes were great.

Nothing made this special besides the service. Have walked past many of times wanting to eat here finally did and was overly disappointed. Everything was bland and tasteless. For smoked cooked food there was no flavour sides had no seasoning. The only up side was the bbq sauce. Your charging premium price for meat you need to rethink you seasoning on your meat. Absolutely disappointed and will Not be coming back.

Disgusting greasy food. Wouldn’t feed it to my dogs. Biting in to the burger was like popping a boil. Oil and gunk flew everywhere. The brisket was as chewy as my sneakers.
Will never return.

Staffed seemed fairly friendly. Th aides were bad were good (corn bread, max and cheese -needed some salt, coleslaw was great)

Then the the two meats came out with the sides we had the brisket which to me was a triple threat dry, not hot nor warm and not sliced well. I thought it was just us but everyone seemed to have dry brisket and pork as well as us.

We told the waitress about it being dry and cooled and they said it’s not supposed but carried out a dry combo again to another guest.

If you are a coeliac or gluten intolerant give this one a miss. It says on some websites that they have gf options, but they are extremely limited, there are better bbq options for you.

Also the cocktails are hideously sweet.
